    The Place

      Little Switzerland Resort and Campground is a peaceful and friendly place located just 2 miles north of Newaygo, Michigan. Our campground is nestled off of Pickerel Lake where you can enjoy 300 ft. of lake frontage with a private beach and swimming area. We welcome you to come share in the history of Little Switzerland. The main lodge became a place to rest and relax in the late 1800’s and the campground began in the mid 1970’s.  

      Park Rules & Directions

      All 80 sites include water and electric (maximum size RV is 40 feet). Dumping station, bath house, and laundromat are available. There is a playground, basketball court and volleyball area to use during your stay. Private beach with swim dock open from 9:00am until dusk. 


      We have a boat launch available for our guests, but due to space restrictions, we cannot allow pontoon boats.  Boats, boat slips and kayaks are available for rent.


      Two cars maximum per site. Additional parking available for cars, boats and trailers. 6 people per site (one family/4 adults). Golf carts are available for rent.


      Dogs are permitted with proof of rabies vaccination. Maximum of 2 dogs per site. All breeds except: rottweilier, German shepherd, pitbull and doberman pinscher.  Campers are expected to clean up after their pets immediately - those who do not will be charged per clean up. 


      Day visitors are to register in the office: .00/car. Overnight visitors are .00/person. Visitors are not permitted to bring watercraft or pets
