Peach Queen Campground in Jemison, AL, offers 53 full-hookup pull-thru RV sites and 18 tent sites, with 30 and 50-amp service and room for rigs up to 65 feet.
Every site is a 30/50-amp pull-thru carrying water, sewer, and electric — nothing needs unhitching. The campground is rated big rig friendly. Laundry, a general store, a snack bar, firewood, a dump station, on-site dining, and cabins cover the rest. After-hours arrivals find a map with their check-in details in the mailbox just outside and to the right of the office. Pets are welcome, with a dog park.
An outdoor pool, a pavilion, a playground, a lake, a pond, creek frontage, walking trails, and corn hole fill the grounds, with swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, biking, birding, and live music. A state park and golf are nearby.
Jemison sits in Chilton County, where the red clay foothills of the Appalachian Piedmont grow the peaches that give this corner of central Alabama an agricultural identity as specific as any in the South.

- Your reservation includes up to 4 people, with a max of 8 per cabin or campsite or 6 per tent site.

- Yes, all visitors need to be registered at the office and pay $5 per person.
- Visitors must leave by quiet hours.
Are day passes available to non-registered guests?
- Yes.
- Non-registered guests can purchase a day pass for $10.
- We recommend calling ahead, as availability may be limited, especially during busy times.
- Day passes include access to park amenities, but please note that some activities or areas may have additional restrictions or fees.
Can I reserve a specific site or cabin number?
- Specific site and cabin numbers are not guaranteed unless a site lock fee has been paid.
- Site and cabin numbers may change prior to arrival, however the site and cabin type that was booked will be guaranteed.
Do you have minimum stay requirements?
- Yes.
- Cabins and lodging require at least a 2-night stay in peak season, and 3 nights over Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day.
- Campsites require 2 nights for holiday weekends.

Can I bring my pets?
- Absolutely, you're welcome to bring up to 2 pets per site.
- Pets are allowed at RV and tent sites.
- Please note, pets aren’t allowed in swimming areas, playgrounds, restrooms, or other buildings.
Is there WiFi available?
- Yes, we do offer WiFi.
- Just keep in mind that signal strength can vary depending on your location, as well as how many guests are in the park.
Can I fish on-site?
- Campers are welcome to fish in the lake without a license, but please note that catch and release is required.
- This helps ensure that all guests have the chance to enjoy the experience.
- The lake is home to fish, frogs, turtles, and snakes, including some that may be venomous.
- Please observe wildlife from a distance and do not attempt to touch or disturb any animals.
- Do not alter the creek in any way.
- This includes stacking rocks, building dams, diverting water flow, or removing plants and animals
- Fishing supplies are available for purchase in the Campstore.
Is there a pool?
- Yes.
- Children under 16 must be supervised.
- There is no lifeguard on duty.
- No glass in the pool area.
Can I bring a golf cart?
- Yes, please register all golf carts with the office.
- All drivers need to have a valid driver’s license and proof of liability insurance.
- Drivers must follow all speed limits and posted signs.
Can I rent the pavilion?
- Yes.
- The pavilion can be rented for 4 hours ($150) or 8 hours ($300). Pool access can be added for an additional fee.

How many vehicles can I bring?
- Each site includes 1 camping unit and up to 2 vehicles.
- Extra vehicles must be parked in designated areas and may require a fee.
Can I wash my RV or vehicle on-site?
- Short-term campers aren’t allowed to wash vehicles or RVs on-site.
- If you’re a long-term guest with a unit that stays year-round, we just ask that you give it a good wash at least once a year.
Can I charge my electric vehicle (EV)?
- No, EV charging is not allowed at the site.
- This can also damage the campground’s power system.
Can I bring a trailer or boat?
- No, trailers and boats are not allowed on-site.
Are there behavior guidelines?
- Yes.
- We are a family-friendly space.
- Harassment, excessive drinking, offensive language, or inappropriate flags/signs are not allowed.
Are campfires allowed?
- Yes, only in approved fire pits.
- Fires must be attended and trash should never be burned.
Can I bring firewood?
- Yes, however please bring only local (and not from other states) firewood into the campground.
- This helps prevent the spread of invasive species.
Are fireworks or generators allowed?
- No, fireworks and generators are not permitted.
What are quiet hours?
- 10 PM to 8 AM daily.
- Please keep voices, music, and other noise low during this time.
- Children under 18 must be at their campsite or with an adult.
Is alcohol allowed?
- Yes, for guests of legal age.
- Please enjoy responsibly, use a koozie or unmarked container, and be mindful of others.
- Alcohol may be restricted in some areas.
Storms & Emergencies
- If severe weather occurs, please seek shelter immediately in a safe location the nearest bathhouse.

Registrations and Arrival
Check-In Procedure
- RV and Tent Campsites check-in time is 2:00 PM.
- RV and Tent Campsites check-out time is 11:00 AM.
- Cabin and Lodging check-in time is 3:00 PM.
- Cabin and Lodging check-out time is 11:00 AM.
- Late departures may be available until 2:00 PM, subject to availability, and will incur a $25 fee.
- Early arrivals may be available for an additional fee; please reach out to the office before arrival to check availability.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the onsite manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
Payment Policies
- For short-term stays, payments are due in full at the time of booking.
- For long-term RV campsite stays, a deposit of $150 is required to secure your booking.
- This deposit will be refunded at the end of your stay.
Reservation Policies
- Guests must be 18 years of age or older to rent any campsite or cabin.
- Reservations will be held until check-out time on the day following your scheduled arrival.
- No shows will result in full forfeiture of funds.
- Specific site and cabin numbers are not guaranteed unless a site lock fee has been paid.
- Site and cabin numbers may change before arrival; however, the site and cabin type that was booked will be guaranteed.
Cabin And Lodging Policies
- A credit card is required to be on file for any cabin or lodging reservation.
- A $150 credit card hold is required for any cabin or lodging reservation that is 29 days or less.
- Any damages to the rental unit, whether caused by me, my children, guests, or pets, must be reported to the registration office immediately or upon checkout.
- Any damages that occur during my stay will be charged to my credit card following a thorough inspection by management.
- An excessive cleaning fee of a minimum of $250 will be charged for cabins or lodging units that are left extremely unclean or with excessive garbage.
Long-Term Stays (30 Days Or Greater)
- A total of $500 is required for all cabin or lodging stays of 30 days or longer.
- A $350 security deposit is held as a refundable security deposit, and $150 is applied towards a cleaning fee.
- All long-term stays require a completed background check before the monthly rate can be applied.
- A $25 application fee is required from the guest.
- While the background check is processing, guests will be charged the transient nightly rate for their rental unit or campsite.
- Upon successful clearance, the rate will be retroactively adjusted to the monthly rate from the date of arrival.
- All long-term payments are due by the 1st of each month.
- A late payment charge of $50 will be charged for delinquent accounts after the 5th day of the month.
- A $50 fee will be charged for any bounced ACH or returned check.
- Guests acknowledge they are not tenants but licensees of the campground.
- Management may terminate the guest’s license to enter the premises at any time for any reason.
Defaults And Removal
- Failure to pay fees when due, follow campground rules, or respond to official communications constitutes a default.
- Upon default, the campground may revoke the guest’s license to occupy the premises.
- Guests must vacate the site immediately upon written or posted notice.
- If the guest fails to vacate, the campground may remove the guest and any remaining property in accordance with applicable law.
Pets Policy
- Pets are welcome at campsites and in designated pet-friendly lodging units.
- Each site allows a maximum of two pets.
- Visitors are not permitted to bring pets.
- Pets must be supervised and kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times.
- Pets may not be left unattended in cabins or at campsites.
- Excessive barking, howling, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and disposing of waste in designated trash bins.
- Any pet-related damages will be charged to the credit card on file following a management inspection.
- Management may terminate a reservation without refund if a guest is unable or unwilling to control a pet.
- All pets must be up to date on vaccinations.
- Proof of vaccination must be available upon request.
- Pets are not permitted in restrooms, laundry facilities, playgrounds, or swimming areas, except for service animals.
- Guests assume full responsibility for their pets and release the campground from all pet-related liability.
Child Safety Rules
- Children 14 and under must be supervised by an adult at all times throughout the campground.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult while at the pool.
- Golf carts may only be driven by guests 16 or older with a valid driver’s license.
- Failure to follow these rules may result in a violation notice and fine.
Wifi Policy
- The park’s Wifi may only be used for lawful purposes.
- Transmission of material in violation of federal or state laws is prohibited.
- Wifi performance may be affected by weather, high usage, or technical issues.
Prohibited Items and Activities
- Fireworks, openly carried firearms, drones, four-wheelers, ATVs, open flames outside designated fire pits, external electric heaters, hazardous material storage, and commercial business use are prohibited.
Golf Carts Policy
- Personal golf carts must be registered with the office upon check-in.
- A valid driver’s license and proof of liability insurance are required.
- Golf cart operators must be at least 16 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Headlights must be on after sunset.
- Golf carts without headlights may not be used after sunset.
- Golf carts must be operated responsibly at all times.
- Horseplay, racing, or misuse of golf carts is prohibited.
- Golf cart use is limited to blacktop or gravel roads.
- Driving through RV sites or restricted areas is not permitted.
- Operating a golf cart under the influence of alcohol, marijuana, or illegal drugs is prohibited.
- Seating capacity must not be exceeded.
- All occupants must remain seated while the cart is in motion.
- The brake must be engaged and the key removed when the cart is not in use.
- Drivers must follow all posted speed limits and signage.
Photography And Video Content
- Guests consent to the capture and use of voice recordings, images, videos, and likeness for lawful advertising, promotional, and commercial purposes.
Rental Unit Cleaning - Short Term Stays
- Rental units must be left in a reasonably clean condition at departure.
- Garbage must be removed and placed in an outside dumpster.
- Kitchens and kitchenettes must be left clean.
- Dishes must be washed and put away.
- Appliances and countertops must be wiped clean.
- A $125 cleaning fee may be charged if cleaning standards are not met.
- A minimum $250 professional cleaning fee may be charged for extreme filth, smoking, or unauthorized pets.
Rental Unit Cleaning -Long Term Stays
- Rental units must be left in a reasonably clean condition at departure.
- A flat $150 cleaning fee applies to all long-term stays.

Guest Responsibility For Damage And Conduct
- Guests are financially responsible for damage to campground property caused by themselves or their guests.
- Repair, replacement, cleanup, or remediation costs may be charged to the credit card on file.
Fire, Electrical, And Hazardous Use
- Guests are responsible for the safe operation of all RV systems and equipment.
- Damage caused by improper use or unsafe equipment is the guest’s responsibility.
- Guests must reimburse the campground for losses arising from such incidents.
Intentional Or Negligent Damage
- Guests must not damage campground property or endanger others.
- Guests are liable for claims or injuries resulting from violations or negligence.
RV Insurance Requirement
- Guests are required to maintain adequate insurance coverage for all RVs, vehicles, and personal property.
- Liability insurance is required for any RV brought into the campground.
- Proof of insurance may be requested at any time.
- Failure to provide proof may result in cancellation or removal without refund.
- Guest insurance is the primary coverage for any loss or damage.
Campground Disclaimer
- All guests, visitors, and other occupants ("guests") must adhere to the Rules and Regulations, posted rules and regulations at Peach Queen Campground (“Campground”), as well as any instructions provided by campground management.
- Management reserves the right to remove anyone violating these guidelines or posted rules.

Cancellation Policy
Campground Cancellation Policy
RV And Tent Campsites
- Cancellations made 15 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund, less a $25 service charge.
- Cancellations made between 8 and 14 days prior to arrival will receive a refund minus a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of scheduled arrival will forfeit the full reservation.
Cabins And Lodging Units
- Cancellations made 22 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund, less a $25 service charge.
- Cancellations made between 15 and 21 days prior to arrival will receive a refund minus a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of scheduled arrival will forfeit the full reservation.
Airbnb Reservations:
- Cancellations will be subject to the cancellation policy as outlined on your Airbnb platform.
- Please review your Airbnb reservation.
Long-Term Stays
- Cancellations may be made for a full refund of the deposit up to 45 days prior to arrival, less a $25 service charge.
- Cancellations made after this date and prior to arrival will forfeit the full deposit amount paid.
- All refunds will be made in the same form of payment used to secure the reservation.
- All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking.
