Camp Maripai
Prescott, Arizona
Camp Maripai is an 80-acre camp just outside of Prescott, situated at an elevation of 6,000 feet and bordered by the Prescott National Forest. The mountainous terrain is full of boulder fields, pine, and deciduous trees as Groom Creek divides the camp. This beautiful scenery naturally provides several short hikes and nature trails throughout the property. The camp facilities include rustic cabins, fire-pits, flushing toilets, covered program ramadas, and an archery field. During camp, counselors are housed in nearby cabins within each unit.
At certain times of the year, this camp offers horseback riding lessons.
All buildings have electricity and water except as noted. Heat is provided in buildings that are open for the winter season unless otherwise noted.
