Nestled adjacent to dozens of open desert acres, our community offers privately owned mobile homes and 56 extra-large RV spaces for seasonal (monthly or weekly) rent. Here, you can relax with the sounds of nature all around you, float in our pools warmed by natural hot springs, drink in the views, or hit the trail and hike miles of paths. Registration and Arrival
Check-In Procedure
- RV Check-In Time: 1 p.m.
- RV Check-Out Time: 12 p.m.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager makes the ultimate decision regarding spot placement.
General RV Appearance
- RVs must be self-contained, RVIA approved, no older than 10 years (unless approved by Management), must have their own towing vehicle (if not a motorhome), and the RV’s paint, cleanliness, and repair must be maintained at all times.
- Mechanical repairs, other than minor maintenance, are not allowed on your site.
- Water, sewer, electrical, and propane systems must be safely connected at all times.
- We reserve the right to deny any RV or cancel any reservation that does not meet these standards.
Reservations
- Upon booking, there is a $100.00 minimum initial payment to reserve an RV Site.
- Specific sites are not guaranteed unless you pay a lock site fee (see below for more information).
- The initial payment will be applied to your account towards your total rent due upon check-in and first payment.
- Reservations are first-come, first-served.
Payment Obligations
- For all reservations made for two (2) months or less, rent for the entire reservation must be paid in full upon arrival.
- If you are staying for over two (2) months, your rent payments are due monthly based on the date of your arrival (maximum length of stay is seven (7) months).
- As a reminder, you are obligated to pay your RV site rent for the entire time that you reserved and signed an agreement for, as once you enter into your reservation, there are no refunds for cancelling or changing your scheduled dates.
Peak Season
- During peak season, cancellations and reschedules during the month of February require at least 60 days’ notice for a refund of the $100.00.
Rescheduling
- For those staying over one (1) month, if your arrival date is pushed back by less than five (5) days AND you notify Desert View at least seven (7) days prior to your scheduled arrival date, 100% of $100.00 paid will be applied toward your total bill at check-in.
- Otherwise, a rescheduling fee of $100.00 will be applied to your account for the reschedule.
Lock Site Fee
- While we guarantee your chosen site type and amenities, our automated optimization system may change your site location.
- You can guarantee your chosen site location by paying a $10.00 lock fee.
- If the chosen site location lock fee is paid, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the site must be changed, the lock fee will be refunded in full.
Electric Deposit
- For one (1) month or more, Summer (May 1-September 30) stays, electricity is not included, and it will be billed separately and monthly.
- A $400.00 electric deposit is to be paid at the start of your reservation during the summer rate season and will be applied toward your last electric bill of your stay, with any overpayment refunded or any additional electric paid by the tenant upon vacating.
General Policy
- Prior season rates do not carry over into the next season, with new rates effective May 1st.
- Desert View Home Mobile Home Club has the right to change pricing at any time.
- Facilities may be temporarily closed for private parties, activities, maintenance, or other health and safety-related issues.
- Please observe all closed signs as posted.
- If you arrive early, without notice, we cannot guarantee that your site will be available; however, if you call and notify us in advance, we will do our best to accommodate you.
Site Cleanliness
- Keep your site clean.
- No household furniture/appliances are permitted on the patio, only patio furniture.
- Clotheslines are not allowed.
- No storage is permitted under or around the RV unit.
- Occupants/Tenants shall deposit all trash and bagged garbage in the dumpsters provided by the Park.
- No site shall be used for commercial purposes.
- Occupant/Tenant shall not be permitted to place or store any personal property in or about the Park except within the Site.
- The Park is not responsible for lost or stolen property. We recommend keeping everything locked up when not in use.
RV Appearance Standards
- RV visual appearances (paint, cleanliness & repair) RV must be maintained at all times.

Fire Pit Regulations
- Only self-contained propane fire pits are permitted.
- All fire pits require fifteen (15) feet of clearance from anything combustible, and they may not be used on a Red Flag Warning Day or any day with high winds.
Unattended RV Policy
- Unattended Sites: Please notify the office if you will be leaving your RV unattended overnight.
- Unattended RVs may be removed from the site at the owner’s expense.
Vehicle Rules
- Vehicles must maintain 5 MPH or a safe and reasonable speed limit in the Park.
- Please do not block or occupy sites other than the one you rented.
- Maximum of one RV and two vehicles per site.
- Arrangements must be made with managers for the parking of any extra vehicles.
- Motorized two, three, or four-wheel vehicles, including golf carts, must be currently registered, licensed, insured, and driven in the park solely for the purpose of traveling to and from the Occupant/Tenant’s site.
- Excessively noisy vehicles are not permitted in the Park.
Sewer Connection Guidelines
- Sewer Requirements: all sewer connections must seal and lock airtight, and the use of formaldehyde products is prohibited.
- Do not flush anything but toilet paper.
Electrical Use and Safety
- Electrical: You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in your RV, and amp usage over the 50 amps provided can trip your breaker.
- Please be mindful of your amp usage so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay.
- Please notify the office so that we can notify maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay, as guests are not permitted to diagnose or work on the pedestals.
Recreational Equipment Restrictions
- Skateboards, Roller-Skates, Scooters, etc., are not permitted to be used in the Park.
- No bicycles are allowed around the clubhouse area.
Pet Policy
- Pets (max. 2 per site) must be housed inside your RV at all times.
- Pets are not allowed in or around the clubhouse and pool area.
- Pets must be on a leash, no longer than 6 feet, and must not be left unattended outside of an RV or tied to an RV, tree, or picnic bench.
- Please pick up after your pet!
- If your pet causes a disturbance, you may be asked to remove your pet from the Park.
- Dogs known to be of a vicious nature are not allowed in the Park.
- Each pet must be licensed and inoculated in accordance with local law.
- Service dogs, as defined by Civil Code § 54.1, must comply with all pet conduct rules set out above.

- No more than two (2) pets allowed per lot. See RV Rules for more.
- We reserve the right to cancel any reservation that does not meet these standards set forth.
Quiet Hours
- Quiet Hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., and all outside radios, speakers, and TVs must be operated at a volume that does not disturb others.
Guest Policy
- The guest of the Occupant/Tenant may use the facilities only while accompanied by the Occupant/Tenant.
- The maximum time any guest may reside with the Occupant/Tenant is seven (7) days, and such guest must be checked in with the office.
Recreational Facility Rules
- Hours & Rules for Recreational Facilities are posted in and about the facilities and are incorporated into these Rules & Regulations.
- Visiting children under fourteen (14) years of age may use the swimming pool only during children's hours as posted and must be accompanied by an Occupant/Tenant.
Tent Restrictions
- Tents are not permitted.
- Do not drive stakes, rods, etc., into the ground, use tarps as shelters for shade, nor alter the improvements and utility hook-ups.
Satellite Dish Placement
- Satellite Dishes must be placed as close to your RV as possible, and the use of stakes is prohibited.
Tree and Bush Maintenance
- Trees/Bushes are all trimmed by staff.
- Please contact the office if there is an issue at your site.
Controlled Substances Policy
- Controlled Substances The possession (for any purpose) and/or growing of Marijuana, opium, and similar illegal plants are expressly prohibited at any place in the Park.
Age Requirement for Residency
- Older Persons' Park: at least one Occupant/Tenant must be a minimum of 55 years of age.
- All other Occupants/Tenants must be at least 40 years of age.
- Verification of the age of all Occupants/Tenants is required.
Seasonal Residency Limit
- Seasonal Community: Maximum length of stay is seven (7) months.
Campground Disclaimer
- Community Rules regarding conduct, upkeep, and facilities that are applicable to mobile home sites are applicable to RV sites.
- Management reserves the right to use discretion in enforcing rules as necessary and to ask anyone not abiding by our rules or causing a disturbance to vacate our premises without refund.
- Management is not responsible for loss due to theft, fire, wind, flood, or any other act beyond our control.
Cancellation Policy
MODERATE
If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
