Does the resort offer activities? - The resort offers many facilities and activities for recreation and fun, including an outdoor pool, hot tub, a dog park, and a clubhouse with games. - We are right next to Ron McLeod City Park, which has a playground and walking trails. - Join our weekly, monthly, and seasonal activities and discover local San Diego County events. Do you have a dump station? - Yes, we have a public dump station. - If you are not a current guest with us, you can dump for a nominal fee. - Call us at 442-218-3322 for details and rates. What RV information do I need? - Proof of current RV registration and insurance is required for all RV's staying on a monthly basis. What is the resort speed limit? - The resort speed limit is 5 mph. - Please drive your RVs and vehicles slowly to keep our guests safe. Is there parking for other vehicles? - Yes. You may park passenger vehicles on the RV site or in our designated guest parking areas. - All alphabetical parking spaces are assigned "paid" parking spaces and not available without contacting our front desk. - All illegally parked vehicles will be towed. What is your cancellation and reservation change policy? - Yes. Here is the breakdown: Nightly - Arrival more than 3 days: 1 night + tax. - Arrival within 3 days or less: 100% of stay. Weekly - Arrival more than 7 days: 25% of stay. - Arrival 7 days or less: 100% of stay. Monthly - $600 deposit. What is your cancellation policy, Basecamp? - Nightly: 100% of the deposit will be charged as a fee when canceled 3 days prior to arrival (after 12 p.m.) - Weekly: 100% of the deposit will be charged as a fee when canceled within 7 days prior to arrival (after 12 p.m.) - Monthly: 100% of the deposit will be charged as a fee when canceled within 14 days prior to arrival (after 12 p.m.) What is your reservation change policy? - Nightly & Weekly: If changed/modified within 3 days of arrival (after 12 PM), a fee equal to the guest's first night will apply. - Monthly: If changed/modified within 7 days of arrival (after 12 PM), a fee equal to 50% of the deposit will apply. How do I get to the Escondido RV Resort? - Escondido RV Resort is located at 1740 Seven Oakes Rd in Escondido, California, 92026. - The hotel is located off I-15, just 30 minutes north of downtown San Diego and 25 minutes east of Oceanside. Do you have a laundry facility? - Yes. We offer an on-site and well-maintained laundry facility with brand-new front-load washers and dryers. - Our modern machines only take debit and credit cards. Does the resort offer a loyalty program? - Yes. We offer an exciting Loyalty Program designed to recognize and reward our loyal guests. - One of the first loyalty programs introduced in the Outdoor Hospitality industry, it positions Sunland RV Resorts to remain a leader in the industry. - Once enrolled, guests will earn points based on the total dollars spent. - When guests earn a specified number of points, as defined by each loyalty level, their status within the program will elevate. - At each loyalty level, guests will enjoy unique benefits and the chance to earn points faster. Does the resort offer extended stay sites? - Yes. We offer extended stays for up to six months in designated sites. - Please inquire with the front desk about our seasonal stay sites and rates. Does your resort have activities for kids? - We have fun activities for kids, including ping-pong, corn hole, pool tic-tac-toe, chalk, and board games. Can I have a campfire? - Yes, propane barbecue and propane firepits are allowed. - Firepits or barbecues may not be left unattended at any time. - Local City ordinance does not allow wood burning or charcoal fire pits. Do you have restrictions on the type of RV or what year it is? - Yes. All RVs must be fully self-contained and are subject to exterior inspection upon arrival. - Your RV must be clean and rust-free, with no broken windows, and if motor powered, running. - Tarps on roofs, duct tape, and other modifications are strictly prohibited. - The RV must be 10 years or newer. - There are exceptions to this rule; please contact the resort manager if you think your RV qualifies. - Sorry, no tent camping. When is check-in time? Check-out time? - Check-in time is 1 p.m. Check-out is 12 p.m. - Early arrivals and late departures (if available) may be subject to a nominal fee. Do you sell propane? - Yes. We offer external tank refill service seven days a week between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. - If you leave your propane tank at the front of your site, our maintenance team will pick it up and deliver it back to your site full. - We also offer propane service from the dispenser. - Delivery service to your motorhome that does not have external tanks is also available weekly during the winter and bi-weekly in the summer. Do you have a heated pool? - Yes. We have a year-round heated outdoor pool that is maintained at 84 degrees F. - Our hot tub is also open year-round and is maintained at 102 degrees F. - The pool and hot tub hours are from 8 a.m.- 9 p.m. seven days a week. Are you close to shopping and dining? - We are located near downtown Escondido with great shopping and restaurants and within minutes of many local eateries such as Killer Pizza From Mars (a galactic twist and great pizza), Lourdes (our staff's favorite Mexican joint), Starbucks, and IHOP. - We are less than 1/4 mile from two VONS grocery stores, a 24-hour pharmacy, a pet store, and many other retailers. Our resort has a beautiful clubhouse for smaller, more intimate events for groups of 10 or less, but it does not have a kitchen or dedicated meeting room. - If you are looking for group accommodations with 10 or more RVs and need additional meeting facilities, contact our other Sunland parks at the group's landing page. Do you have pull-thru spaces? Can you accommodate a 45' RV? - No, but all of our RV sites offer easy back-in access, even for large rigs. - We can accommodate up to a 45' RV on a 70' pad. Do RV sites offer full hook-ups? - Yes, all of our RV sites offer water, sewer, cable TV, 30/50 amp electric, and trash service. - All stays 14 consecutive nights and longer are subject to metered electric charges. Do you offer free Wi-Fi? - We offer a broadband Internet connection for free at 5MBps (Megabytes) to check emails and social media sites. - However, if you are streaming video (Netflix, Hulu, Disney +, etc.), it delivers 15 MBps with multiple devices.
