Check-In Procedure
- Check-in time: 1:00 p.m.
- Check-out time: 11:00 a.m.
- Later checkout may be available upon request at no additional cost; please check with the office.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
Reservations & Deposits
- Reservations are encouraged and accepted for stays of 2 or more nights.
- We accept reservations for specific sites, but we reserve the right to make substitutions if needed.
- Payment in full is required at the time of reservation.
- Credit cards are charged at the time of reservation for the deposit.
- Cash or credit card accepted for balance due at time of check-in (no checks accepted).
- Deposits are not transferable.
Maximum Number of People Per Site
- Each campsite is limited to 2 adults and their dependent children, or a maximum of 4 adults.
One Vehicle Per Site
- Each campsite is limited to 1 vehicle plus your camper unit.
- Additional parking is available at the campground entrance.
- Vehicles at campsites must display a valid vehicle pass from the rear view mirror.
- Please ask the office if you need additional parking.
Visitors Policy
- All visitors must check in at the office.
- Day guest fee is $5.
- Night visitors are $10/night.
- Every guest shall register.
- A registering guest may be required by the campground owner to produce a valid driver's license or other identification satisfactory to the campground owner.
- Holiday and special events may be subject to additional fees, and guests will be notified at that time.
- Visitors will receive wristbands that must be worn.
Child Safety
- Parents are responsible for the safety and actions of their children.
- For the safety of our younger guests, we encourage parents to accompany children when using campground facilities.
Speed Limit
- Speed limit throughout the campground is 6.5 mph.
- Please slow down and watch for children and pets.
- Only licensed drivers may operate motor vehicles.
- Dirt bikes and ATV’s are not permitted.
Trash
- For our nightly guests, bagged trash may be left at the end of your campsite by 10:00 am for pickup or placed in dumpsters located by the dump station.
Pets
- Well-behaved pets are welcome.
- Pets must be leashed or in an enclosure and supervised at all times.
- Pet waste must be bagged and placed in waste receptacles.
- Be courteous to other campers by not allowing excessive barking or leaving your dog unattended outside of your camping unit.
- Aggressive animals are not tolerated.
Quiet Hours
- Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm Sunday-Thursday and 11:00 pm Friday and Saturday until 7:00 am each day.
- Everyone under the age of 18 must be on their site by 9:00 pm unless under adult supervision.
- Bikes must be on the sites by dusk.
Courteous Campers
- Be respectful of your neighbors by being considerate of noise levels and not walking through other guests’ sites.
Alcohol
- Alcoholic beverages must remain at your campsite.
Beach and Swimming
- The beach and water activities are open for use during times specified in the daily schedule of activities, and are closed otherwise.
- Swimming is permitted in the swimming pond only.
- Staff may close the activity due to inclement weather or other reasons.
- Guests are expected to follow all posted pool rules and staff instructions regarding pool safety.
- A lifeguard or other responsible person does not supervise the swimming facilities at Crazy Horse Campground.
- In place of an on-site supervisor, this facility has established a series of safeguards to be followed by all guests.
- Your participation in any water activity is done at your own risk.
- Rescue equipment is at the beach.
- If you notice any problem with the water quality or absence of water rescue equipment, please notify the office at once.
- Never swim alone.
- A minimum of two adults, 18 years or older, must be present whenever the swimming facility is in use.
- There is no substitute for adequate supervision.
- A parent or guardian must accompany children under 16 years of age.
- Diving is not permitted.
- Do not drink alcoholic beverages and swim or participate in water sports.
Bounce House/Water Slide/Inflatable Activities
- The inflatable activities are open for use during times specified in the daily schedule of activities, and are closed otherwise.
- Staff may close the activity due to inclement weather or other reasons.
- Guests are expected to follow all posted rules and staff instructions regarding the use and safety of the activity.
- Participants using the inflatable activities acknowledge that play on such activities entails both known and unknown risks, including but not limited to physical injury from falling, slipping, crashing, or colliding, emotional injury, paralysis, distress, damage, or death to any participant.
- Parents are responsible for supervising their children while using the activity.
- An adult, 18 years or older, must be present whenever an inflatable is in use.
- No smoking or open flames of any kind near the inflatable.
- No food, drink, candy, or chewing gum while using the activity.
- Shoes, glasses, jewelry, and any hard or sharp objects must be removed, and pockets must be emptied before entering the activity.
- Only 1 participant may go down the slide at a time.
- A maximum of 6 participants may be in the bounce house at a time.
- Climbing, hanging, or sitting on the walls inside the inflatable or anywhere on the outside of the inflatable is prohibited.
- Pushing, colliding, fighting, or behaving in a manner likely to injure or cause distress is prohibited.
- No pets on the inflatable at any time.
- No one is permitted in/on the inflatable during inflation or deflation – this is extremely dangerous.
- In the event that the blower stops working, all participants must exit the inflatable immediately and calmly, and notify the office immediately.
- The activity remains closed until reopened by a staff member.
Golf Carts
- You must be at least 16 years old and a licensed driver to operate a golf cart.
- All golf carts must be insured, and a copy of the insurance must be provided to the office upon registration.
- All golf cart owners/operators must abide by the Golf Cart Waiver and Release of Liability available at the office.
- Golf carts may not be used between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am.
- Golf carts must stay on Crazy Horse roads and trails.

Kayaks/Canoes/Boats/SUPS
- Recognition of Risk:
- Renter expressly acknowledges that kayaking, canoeing/boating are activities with inherent risks of injury to persons and property.
- Renter is aware of those risks and understands them.
- Renters and anyone using a boat must sign the Release of Liability agreement and the Acknowledgment of Rules form available in the office.
- Lifejackets must be worn at all times when canoeing or kayaking.
- Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Persons ages 16-18 renting an agreement must have the agreement signed by an adult responsible for the agreement terms.
- The same terms and conditions apply if you bring your own kayak, canoe, boat, or SUP.
Trees
- In order to preserve the natural setting of the campground, cutting trees and placing nails or screws into trees is not permitted.
Campfires
- Campfires are permitted within the provided campfire ring, and campfire flames must not be more than 3 feet high.
- Do not move the fire rings.
- No burning trash and no outside firewood.
- Firewood is available for purchase in the Lodge.
Firearms
- Open-carry firearms are not allowed in public view within the campground.
- Please leave any firearms in your vehicle.
- Any use of firearms at the campground is prohibited.
Fireworks
- Personal fireworks are prohibited at all times.
Guest Acknowledgment of Risk
- All guests/visitors assume all risks and dangers incidental to the activity of camping in an outdoor environment, including specifically, but not limited to.
- Being injured or killed by insects or other animals.
- Being injured while participating in recreational activities.
- Being injured as a result of inclement weather conditions.
- Disease, drowning, and problems related to near-drowning.
- Fractures and puncture wounds, vehicle accidents, lightning, briars, and thorns.
- Partial or total paralysis, snakebites, heart attack.
- Eye injury, including blindness, heat stroke, cuts and infection, and strains.
- Cleaning solvents and other chemicals, falling limbs or trees.
- Insect bites and bee stings.
- Equipment malfunction, failure, or lack of safety equipment.
- Actions of oneself or others.
- Problems or hazards related to the consumption of alcohol or drugs.
- Ejections and falls from slides or other equipment.
- Collisions on slides or other equipment.
Civil Liability for Refusal
- A campground owner refusing or denying accommodations, facilities or privileges of a lodging establishment for any of the reasons specified shall not be liable in a civil action or for a fine or penalty based on the refusal or denial.
Restitution and Damages Permitted
- In addition to any penalties provided under any other statute, a court may order a person to do all the following.
- Pay restitution for any damages suffered by the campground owner of the lodging establishment, including the lodging establishment’s loss of revenue resulting from the lodging establishment’s inability to rent or lease the accommodations during the period during which the lodging establishment is being repaired.
- Pay damages or restitution to a person or their property that is injured.
- The parents or guardians of a minor shall be liable for the acts of the minor that cause damage to the lodging establishment room or furnishings or cause injury to persons or property.
Right to Eject from Premises
- A campground owner may immediately eject a person from the lodging establishment premises for violating this chapter.
Liability Disclaimer
- Our property is privately owned and operated.
- We reserve the right to refuse admittance to anyone.
- We will not be responsible for accidents, injuries, and/or acts of nature leading to injury or death to our guests, or for loss of money or valuables of any kind.
- We will not grant refunds of any kind (cash, credit, etc.).
- We will not be held liable for any damages that occur if assistance is asked of any staff member with camping units, equipment, or vehicles.
Cancellation Policy
MODERATE
If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
