Dallas County Fair Campgrounds is located 6 miles north of I-80 in Adel, Iowa.
Enjoy the proximity to many attractions, the peaceful atmosphere, and the on-site amenities. You’ll be within walking distance to the North Raccoon River and close to grocery stores and delicious restaurants. With nearly 80 sites, you’re bound to find the perfect spot to set up camp. While you’re relaxing, let the kids play on the bounce pillow, vintage merry-go-round, swings, and slide. Be sure to check out the Fairgrounds events; there are seasons packed with dirt track races, rodeos, and RC races, and you could be at the center of them all! Registration and Arrival
Check-In Procedure

- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
Age
Must be 18 or older to register.
Vehicles
- Limit 2 vehicles per site, including RV.
- No ATVs or golf carts in the campground.
Visitors
- Visitors must park outside campground.
- Additional and visitor parking available behind east berm.
Restroom and Showers
- Restrooms and showers are for registered guests only.
Fires
- Do not move fire rings or put trash in a fire ring.
- Fires must be contained within the fire ring and not left unattended.
Fireworks
- Fireworks prohibited.
Pets
- Pets must be on leash (max 6 ft.) and not left unattended.
- You must clean up after your pet.
- Absolutely no livestock in campground.
Quiet Hour
- Quiet time 10:30pm-7am.
- No overnight unregistered guests.
Speed Limit
- Speed limit is 5 mph throughout the park.
Trash
- All trash must be contained in plastic trash bags.
- No dumping of wastewater on the ground.
Be Respectful
- Respect your fellow campers and their space.
- Parents will be held responsible for their children and pets.
Camp
- Maximum stay: 14 nights.
- Longer stays must be approved by camp host.
Cancellation Policy
MODERATE
If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
