Jellystone Park Lake Charles in Louisiana offers 184 full-hookup RV sites and 14 cabins with 30 and 50-amp service and rigs accepted up to 98 feet. Premium pull-through, standard pull-through, and back-in categories join a water park, splash pad, mini-golf, boat docks, and jumping pillow in Calcasieu Parish. One hundred eighty-four sites run in back-in, pull-thru, and premium pull-thru categories, all carrying water, sewer, and electric on 30 and 50-amp, sized to 98 feet, with picnic tables. Ninety-eight feet is exceptional capacity and accommodates the longest coaches with a tow — rare at a family camp-resort. Fourteen cabins round out the lodging. A general store, laundry, restrooms, and showers handle the practical side. A water park and splash pad anchor the summer, with an outdoor pool alongside. A lake and boat docks support boating and fishing, with mini-golf, a jumping pillow, gem mining, golf cart rentals, hiking, a pond, playground, pavilion, and picnicking filling the grounds. Live music runs through the season. Pets are welcome. Lake Charles sits on the Gulf Coast between New Orleans and Houston, where bayou country, casino culture, and the Sabine Pass industrial corridor produce a southwest Louisiana character distinct from the rest of the state's tourism geography. Contraband Days, the Creole Nature Trail, and the region's Cajun and Creole food scene are all close. Summer is the season for a family water resort, with mild winters drawing snowbirds crossing the I-10 corridor. Reserve well ahead for June through August and for festival weekends.

Need to know

This is my first time visiting Yogi Bear’s Jellystone park™ Lake Charles. Is there anything I should know? - We are so excited to have you stay with us. - There are a few optional items you can bring along to maximize the fun during your trip. - You are welcome to bring bicycles to help you get around our camping resort. - We also suggest bringing fishing poles for some quality family fishing. - Keep in mind that while we do offer plenty of activities here at the camp-resort. - There are many local attractions that your family may enjoy as well. - If you have any questions about your upcoming stay, our friendly reservations team is here to help. Check-in/Check-out - Check-in for RV sites is 2 pm, and check-out is at 12 pm. - Check-in for lodging units is at 3 pm, and check out is 11 am. - There is no early check-in or late check-out. Visitors - Visitors (cabin/RV guest), camper guests are considered day use, please see applicable rates. - All visitors must leave the campground by 10 pm. Public Day Use - Entrance into the park Sunday through Friday, with the exception of holidays and events, is $20/person. - Saturday $25.00/person. Entry fee includes park entrance, WIBIT watercourse, pool, splash pad, jumping pillows, and most free scheduled activities. Are WIBIT Wristbands included with reservations? - Wristbands for the WIBIT water inflatable playground are not included with the reservation. - Wristbands can be purchased as an add-on when booking your reservation. - They are $18 per person and good for the entire duration of the reservation. Can I have 2 camping units on a site? - No, we only allow one tent or camper per site. Rented Camping Units - If you have rented a recreational camping unit from an outside source, the individual dropping off or picking up the unit must alert the office staff on arrival. - Units may be brought to the campground any time after check in. - 2pm the day of your reservation and picked up the day of check out no later than 12pm. Fishing - Fishing in the lake is included with your stay and does not require a fishing license. - Catch and release only. Do you have a washeteria? - Yes, we do. Are animals allowed? - Yes, pets are welcome. - If you are staying in a Yogi Bear Loft or Cindy Bear Cabin. - There is an extra fee of $25.00 per pet, 2 pets max. Do you sell firewood? - Yes, we do. - Firewood can be purchased at the general store. How far in advance should I make my reservation? - We recommend booking at least 6 months in advance of the desired arrival date, as our camp resort will fill up quickly. - We book reservations up to 365 days in advance. Are fireworks allowed? - Fireworks of any kind are not allowed in Jellystone Park. Do you have gift cards? - Yes. - We sell gift cards in the store or on the Camp Jellystone website: campjellystone.securetree.com

Rules

Check-in Procedure - RV check-in time: 2:00 pm. - RV check-out time: 12:00 pm. - Lodging units check-in time: 3:00 pm. - Lodging units check-out time: 11:00 am. - There is no early check-in or late check-out. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Quiet Hours - 10:00 pm - 7:00 am. Lodging Units - Linens, sheets, pillows, and towels are not provided. Visitors - Only registered guests are permitted to enter the park. - All visitors must stop in the office to register, pay a fee, and receive a parking pass. - Day visitors must depart nightly by 10:00 pm. - Registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors are properly registered and that all campground rules are followed. Pool/Splash Pad Policy - Hours are posted at each location and on our daily activity log. - No lifeguard on duty at the swimming pool, or any other water-related activity, and participating in and swimming is at your own risk. - Anyone 16 and under must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times at the pool or any other water-related activity. - Please obey the rules as posted. Payment - Rent is due in full on the same date as your initial booked date of each month. - Late payments may incur a fee of $50 after a 5-day grace period. Online Booking Fee - If you booked online and need to cancel your reservation, your booking fee is not able to be refunded. Occupancy - Only registered guests and their listed occupants may stay on the site. - Subletting is not permitted. Guest - Guests assume all risks associated with their stay. Cleanliness - Guests must keep their site clean and free of trash. Site Maintenance - No permanent structures, flags, decor or alterations may be made without prior approval. Utilities - Basic utilities (water/sewer/electric) are included unless otherwise stated. - Excessive use of electricity may result in additional charges. Behavior - Disruptive behavior, illegal activity, or harassment of others will result in immediate termination of this agreement. Pets - Pets must be leashed and cleaned up after at all times. - Aggressive pets are not allowed. - Pets are not allowed to be left outside tied up. Campground Disclaimer - The campground is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property. - The campground reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time for violations of rules or other just cause.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy - Cancellations made 10 days or more from the scheduled date of check in will receive a full refund. - Less a $30 cancellation fee per site or guests may receive a camping credit for the full value paid, to be used at the campground within (1) one year from the date of cancellation. - Camping credits are not refundable. Any cancellations made within 10 days or less of the reservation check in date are non-refundable. Reservation Policy - All reservations require a 50% deposit at time of booking with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to arrival which we will take automatically with the credit card on file. - Special or promotional offers are only valid on non-holiday or special event weekends and cannot be combined with any other offers. Cancellation Modification - In general, if you cancel a reservation, the amount refunded to you is determined by the Campsite's cancellation policy that applies to your reservation. - Any additional service fee charged to you by the Campsite may be refunded pursuant to the cancellation policy presented in the applicable listing. - Both you and each Campsite are responsible for any modifications made to your reservation, and you agree to pay any applicable fees related to such reservation modification. Booking - The booking fee is fully refundable if you cancel your Campsite reservation within 24 hours of booking. - After 24 hours, the booking fee is refundable only if your Campsite reservation is also fully refundable at the time of cancellation. - Please note that the booking fee is not partially refundable. - All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking. - Please contact Spot2Nite to cancel a reservation via email to [email protected] or call (877)778-2683, Option 1. - Spot2Nite convenience fees and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
