Nestled just off Route 24 in Brunswick, Maine, Thomas Point has long been a cherished destination for families, friends, and outdoor enthusiasts from around the world. Known for its clean, sandy beach overlooking the serene Thomas Bay, expansive playgrounds for all ages, and 85 acres of beautiful lawns and picnic groves, Thomas Point offers something for everyone. Its rich history of hosting beloved events like the annual Maine Highland Games and the famous Bluegrass Festival speaks to its special place in the community. At Modern America Campgrounds, we are committed to preserving the traditions that make Thomas Point so special while investing in various improvements to enhance your experience. Rules

Check-In Procedure - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Campground Gate - For the privacy of our guests, we have a gate located at the entrance of the campground. - We do ask for a $10.00 refundable deposit on all gate cards issued. Fireworks - Absolutely no use of fireworks within the campground. - Sparklers are ok. - Anyone using fireworks will be asked to leave without a refund. - No exceptions. Children Policy - Your children are your responsibility. - All small children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, especially to restrooms, the rec hall, and the beach. Beach/Waterfront - We do not provide a lifeguard; exercise precaution. - Parents should supervise their children at all times. - Children under the age of 14 are not allowed on the beach without parental supervision. - The beach is closed after dark; no swimming after dark. Sites - Only 1 RV/Travel Trailer family per site. Speed Limit - Speed limit is 5 MPH throughout the entire campground. Pet Policy - Pets are allowed. - All pets must be kept on a 6-foot or shorter leash at all times and picked up after. - We ask that you do not leave them unattended outside and keep them from making excessive noise. - Pets are not allowed in any public building, on the beach, or in the ballfield. Visitors - All visitors are welcome, but we do ask that they stop in our store and register with the site they plan on visiting. - We also ask for a small fee for each visitor, and these are listed in the rates. - Day Visitors are asked to check out by 9:00 pm. - Overnight Visitors are asked to check out by 10:00 am the next morning. Vehicle Parking and Car Passes - Only one vehicle per site is allowed. - All other vehicles are asked to park in the parking lot located near the gate. - All vehicles must have a car pass hanging from their rearview mirror so that we can identify all vehicles entering the campground. ATVs and/or Motorcycles - We do not allow ATVs of any kind in the park. - Motorcycles are expected to follow the posted speed limit and respect your neighbors as well as the quiet times of 10:00 pm - 8:00 am. Bicycles & Children's Motorized Vehicles - All children under the age of 16 are required by Maine state law to wear bicycle helmets while riding their bikes. - Please make sure that all bicycles are on site before dark. - We do not allow any motorized scooters or bikes, minibikes, etc. - Children's battery-powered vehicles are allowed. Quiet Hours - Our quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. - Anyone under the age of 18 must be on their site by 10:00 pm unless they are with their parents. Campground Rental Policy - The camper and all members of his/her group agree that in consideration of the rental (whether a campsite, general facility or equipment), Thomas Point Beach Campground shall not be responsible for loss or damage to property, or injury to person, occurring in or around grounds owned by Thomas Point Beach Campground, by reason of any existing or future condition, defect, matter, or thing on said lands or for acts, omissions or negligence of other persons or camper in or around the premises. - The campers agree to indemnify and hold Thomas Point Beach Campground harmless from all claims and liability for loss of or damages to property, or injury to persons occurring in or around the campground. Code of Conduct - Anyone not complying with these policies or being disruptive will be asked to leave the campground

Cancellation Policy

Campground Cancellation Policy - All reservations are subject to our cancellation policy. - No refunds will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, inclement weather, or early departures. - Refunds or credits are not guaranteed and are issued at management’s discretion. - Cancellation after arrival, no refund. RV, Tent, and Transient Sites - Cancellation (0-14 Days from reservation start date), no refund. - Cancellation (15-30 Days from reservation start date): full refund, minus a 25% cancellation fee on the reservation total. - Cancellation (31+ Days from reservation start date): full refund, minus a 12% cancellation fee on the reservation total. Cabins and Lodging Rentals - Cancellation (0-30 Days from reservation start date), no refund. - Cancellation (31+ Days from reservation start date): full refund, minus a 10% cancellation fee on the reservation total. Seasonal Cancellations - If you are a seasonal guest and decide to cancel your reservation, you must contact campground management. - The campground will hold the $1,000 non-refundable deposit. - Any payments made before the park opening will be refunded, less the deposit. - If the cancellation occurs during the camping season, a refund will not be issued. - If the campground finds a seasonal replacement for your site, then a refund will be granted to you in the amount of the newly sold site, less the non-refundable deposit. Holiday Weekends - No refunds will be issued for cancelled holiday weekend reservations. - Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July Week, Labour Day Weekend, Columbus Day Weekend. - All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking. - Please contact Spot2Nite to cancel a reservation via email to [email protected] or call (877)778-2683, Option 1. - Spot2Nite convenience fees and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
