Registrations and Arrival Check-in Procedure - Check-in time: 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm. - If you plan on arriving after 7:00 pm, please let us know, and we will set you up with a virtual check-in. - Check out is no later than 11:00 am - Late check-out fee is $50 per hour unless pre-arranged and approved based on availability. - Please drop off your key at the office or in the drop box outside the office. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Room Rates And Additional Persons - Cottages 3, 4, 5, 6, and 11 are based on double occupancy. - Cottages 7, 8, 9, and 10 are based on four-person occupancy. - There will be an additional charge of $25.00 per night per person for cottages 7, 8, and 9. - If you are planning to use the sofa sleeper for someone in your party, please let us know prior to your arrival. - We will gladly prepare the sofa sleeper and provide an additional blanket and pillow. - All of our cottages are smoke-free. - Smoking is permitted outside or on your deck. - Incense burning is not allowed inside the cottage. - Cleaning fees of $250 will be automatically charged for smoking or incense burning inside the cottages. Dog Policies - Pine Grove Cottages are dog-friendly, but we do have a two-dog limit. - Because of the size of our cottages, there is a two-dog limit. - We only accept dogs. - There is a $25 per night per dog charge. - Dogs must be potty-trained. - We will charge additional fees for any dog accidents, damages, or injuries caused by your dog. - This charge will be at the discretion of the owners of Pine Grove Cottages, with a minimum fee of $100. - Please review our dog policies, which include that your dog must not be left unattended in the cottage unless they are crated. - We ask that you do not leave your dog unattended in the cottage unless it is kept in a travel kennel. - This is so your dog feels secure in its new environment. - We welcome you to walk around the grounds with your dog leashed. - We are happy to provide you with extra poop bags. - Please dispose of them in the dumpster, not in the cottage trash. - As a consideration to future guests, please keep your dog off the furniture and beds. - Excessive barking is grounds for forfeiting all rental fees and ending your stay immediately. - Please remember that not all guests who stay have dogs. - Guests will be asked to sign and follow our pet policies and etiquette upon arrival. Payment - A one-night deposit, including tax, will be charged to your credit card at the time of booking your reservation. - Your remaining balance will be charged to the card on file the day you arrive. - We accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover. - All room rates are subject to the Maine State Sales Tax (currently 9%). Daily Housekeeping - All cottages are thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival. - We will not enter your cottage during your stay to provide daily housekeeping unless there is a need or maintenance concern. - All linens are provided in your cottage prior to your arrival. - If you need extra linens or amenities, please get in touch with the office. - An additional cleaning fee may be charged (starting at $100) if the cottage is left in an excessively dirty condition. - Examples include, but are not limited to, trash left scattered throughout the property and cottage, dirty dishes left in excess, spills or stains on floors, furniture, or walls, and strong odors from smoke, cooking, or pets. Damage Policy - Guests are responsible for any damage to the property or its contents during their stay. - Charges will apply for broken or missing items such as furniture, fixtures, or electronics. - Charges will apply for holes in walls or significant paint damage. - Charges will apply for damaged linens, towels, or mattresses. - Charges will apply for tampering with security or smoke detectors. - Charges will apply for damages from dogs. - If damage is identified after check-out, we will document the issue with photos. - An invoice will be sent for the cost of repair or replacement. - We will charge the guest’s card on file through our booking platform. Lost & Found - Should you leave belongings behind and request that we ship them to you, a minimum flat fee of $25 will be billed to the credit card on file. - Requests for overnight shipping or larger items will be billed $25 plus the cost of shipping.
