Curry Park
Curry Park Campground is located next to the Gogebic County Fairgrounds on US Highway 2 in Ironwood, Michigan. The 44 sites are shaded and suitable for RV or tent camping. There is a small playground in the park. Amenities include electric at each site, picnic tables, fire rings, 9 full hook-up sites, modern restroom/shower facilities, a water fill station, and a sanitary dump station. Campground hosts are on site during the Camping Season.

Check-In Procedure
- Check-in time is 2:00 p.m. or later on the arrival date.
- Check-out is by Noon on the departure date.
- All campers must register online at Curry Park Campground – City of Ironwood before occupying their site.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
Camping Sites
- Camping is allowed only in designated campground sites.
- Each site may have one recreational unit and one tent.
Quiet Hours
- Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
- Non-registered visitors are allowed from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- All park users must avoid excessive noise that disturbs others.
Fireworks
- Fireworks are not allowed within the park.
Site Access
- Except for pull-through sites, all sites are back-in only.
Pet Policy
- Pets (excluding service animals) must be on a leash and under immediate control by their owner at all times.
- Pet owners are responsible for any damages or injuries caused by their pets.
- Pets should not be left unattended in campers or tied up, to prevent barking that may disturb others.
- Owners must clean up after their pets and dispose of waste properly.
- The owner of any pet must ensure that any droppings are cleaned up immediately and disposed of properly.
Campsite Cleanliness
- Campsites must be kept clean, with all waste disposed of in the provided dumpsters.
- No diapers, cans, or other trash shall be deposited in the restroom.
Camping Units
- A camping unit is defined as a motor home, camping trailer, modified camper van/bus, popup tent, or regular tent.
- Units must be street-legal, in good working order, and well-maintained.
- Camping in a passenger vehicle is limited to one night.
Waste Water
- Gray water must be captured in containers under trailer drains and emptied only at designated locations.
- No hoses or water supply lines shall be connected to hydrants.
- No waste lines may discharge onto the ground.
Water Faucet Use
- Bathing, cleaning, dishwashing, or similar activities are not permitted at any water faucet.
Fires
- Fires may only be built in designated fire rings and must never be left unattended.
Protection of Park Property
- Do not damage, remove, or destroy City property, trees, shrubs, wildflowers, or other vegetation. Cutting trees for firewood is prohibited.
- Do not use nails, bolts, or screws for site markers.
Children’s Supervision
- Children must be supervised by a parent or responsible adult at all times.
Privacy
- Respect the privacy of other campers and their campsite areas.
ORV, ATV, and LSV
- ORVs, ATVs, and LSVs are permitted if operated safely, in compliance with State of Michigan laws, and at a speed of no more than 10 mph.
- Use is restricted to entering or exiting the park from the camping site.
Motor Vehicle
- Persons may not operate or park a motor vehicle anywhere except on designated roads or parking areas.
- A 10 mph speed limit must be obeyed.
- The speed limit shall be obeyed as posted.
- Vehicles must be operated and parked only on designated roads or parking areas.
Firearms and Hunting
- Firearms, air guns, slingshots, crossbows, and bow and arrows may not be discharged, and hunting, trapping, or disturbing wildlife is prohibited.
Vehicle Washing
- Washing of vehicles, campers, or boats is prohibited.
Feeding Wildlife
- Feeding wildlife in the park is strictly prohibited.
Campground Staff Authority
- City of Ironwood staff may move campers as needed.
Dumpster and Dump Station
- Dump station and/or Water Tank Fills cost $15.00 each use.
- The dumpster is for registered campers' use only.
Campground Disclaimer
- Violations of these rules may result in eviction from the park without a refund of camping fees, at the discretion of authorized City of Ironwood personnel.
- By using the park, visitors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Ironwood and its agents from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from the use of park facilities, including any property damage or personal injury.
- Campground users are responsible for reading and understanding these park rules.
- The following rules have been established by the City of Ironwood to ensure a positive experience for all Curry Park visitors.
Cancellation Policy
MODERATE
If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
