Hell Creek Recreational Area
On the Hell Creek Arm of Fort Peck Lake, this recreational area provides facilities for most water sports, as well as excellent multi-species fish, including walleye, northern pike, and smallmouth bass. Hell Creek also serves as a launching point for boat camping in the wild and scenic Missouri Breaks. The park is at an elevation of 2,231 feet and encompasses 337 acres. There are 71 campsites, 44 of which have electrical hookups. The recreational area also offers a comfort station, portable water, playground, trails, fish cleaning station, RV dump station, and a group facility you can reserve for special events.

Check-In Procedure
- Check-in time is any time after 2 PM.
- Check-out time is 12 PM.
- Early check-in may be available but is subject to booking and availability.
- If you'd like to fish the morning of departure, please be courteous to incoming guests and plan accordingly.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the onsite manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.

Quiet Hours
- Quiet hours are 10 PM through 7 AM.

- An emergency phone box is located at the front of the office for 911 use.
Travel Information
- Drive time from Jordan is approximately 1 hour via gravel road.

- Inclement weather may impact travel time and road conditions.
Campfires and Fire Safety
- Campfires are allowed only in fire rings and are subject to local fire danger restrictions.
- Firewood is available for purchase at Hell Creek Marina.
- Fires may not be left unattended, and make sure they are fully extinguished, as we experience frequent wind gusts that can reignite embers.
- If you experience an issue with your fire ring, please inform a member of staff.
Environmental Care
- Please do not damage trees on site.
- No fireworks of any kind are permitted.
- Dispose of trash in proper receptacles, not in fire pits.
- Aluminum recycling is collected in baskets alongside trash cans.
Pets Rules
- All pets must be kept on a leash and not left unattended.
- Campers are responsible for cleaning up after their pet.
- Be aware of your surroundings when exploring the grounds to protect both your pet, campers, and local wildlife.
Facilities
- Please be considerate of other guests and attempt to keep the shower and restroom facilities tidy.
- Report any maintenance issues to a member of staff.
Camping Rules
- Campers may stay no longer than 14 nights in any thirty-day period.
- Camping is permitted in designated areas only.
- Site capacity at each individually signed or numbered campsite is eight people.
- This typically involves a single camping unit, which includes, but is not limited to, a tent, motor home, camping bus, truck-mounted camper shell, pull-type camper, or other device designed and commonly used for sleeping, plus an additional two tents.
Cancellation Policy
MODERATE
If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
