Welcome to Fransted Family Campground. We are excited to be able to continue with the wonderful camping experience offered here. Come experience pristine camping with our river at your feet and the scenic White Mountains as your backdrop. Only minutes to Franconia Notch and White Mountains attractions, Fransted Family Campground is situated on 45 acres of beautiful natural forestland with a crystal clear mountain brook running through it. We offer many types of campsites for your camping pleasure, including 3-way hook-ups, pull-thrus, riverfront, wooded, and private sites accommodating RVs, pop-ups, and tenting. We are passionate about the quality and cleanliness of our facilities and campground. Enjoy free showers and Wi-Fi at the campground.

Rates And Reservations
- The above rates are based on one family per site; up to 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 18 years (4 max children per site, additional fee after 2 children), plus one vehicle and one RV/tent unit per site.
- Persons under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult to camp at Fransted.
- Small second tent may be allowed on larger sites; requires management approval at time of reservation request.
- No tenting of any kind is permitted in full hook-up areas or on full hook-up sites.
- Fransted does not accept Tiny House RVs at this time.
- Additional adult on a site requires management approval: $10 per day.
- RVs on full-hookup sites can use either the RV awning or an EZ-up canopy.
- RV rugs should be kept on stones to protect the site's grass.
- Pets: 1st pet no charge, additional pets chargeable $5.00.
- Additional vehicle: $5.00 per day (parked in overflow parking).
- Utility trailers must be parked in overflow parking, not at the site, with $5.00 fee per day.
- Picnic tables may not be moved between sites.
Day Visitor 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
- $8.00 per person, per day.
Overnight Visitor
- $10.00 per person, per night.
Visitor Vehicles Parking
- Day Visitor, after checking in at the office and acquiring a day Visitor pass, must park in the day visitor lot at the front of the campground.
- Over Night Visitor, after stopping at the office and acquiring an overnight visitor pass, may enter the campground and park in the overflow parking lot within the campground, with $5.00 fee per night.
- The registered camper is responsible for their visitor(s).
- Visitors are not allowed to bring pets.
- Unannounced visitors will not be allowed in the campground.

- Please follow all federal, state, and local health guidelines.

- In the event of an emergency at Fransted, please call 911. Fransted Campground’s address is 974 Profile Road, Franconia, NH.
- Then please notify campground management.
Rules
Check-In Procedure
- Check-in time: 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
- Check-out time: 11:00 a.m.
- Arrivals after 7:00 p.m., please inform us of instructions.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
Campground Policies and Guest Responsibilities
- The following policies and helpful information have been put in place to ensure an enjoyable camping experience for you and your fellow campers.
- All campers are responsible for informing their children and/or guests of these policies.
Pets
- We welcome pets as long as they are leashed and under control at all times.
- You are required to clean up after your pets.
- Never leave your pet unattended.
- Only one pet per site is permitted free of charge, and a modest fee of $5.00 per night is charged for a second pet.
- You must have vaccination paperwork available at check-in.
- Any violations of these rules or pets that are unruly will result in the pets being required to leave the campground. (Certain aggressive breeds are not allowed.)
Firewood
- Only Certified Bug-Free Packaged Wood is allowed to be brought into the campground (no exceptions), or you may purchase our heat-treated hardwood .75 cu/ft bundles at the office.
- Bundles brought in must either be certified as bug-free by 1) carrying a USDA APHIS seal OR 2) a label statement specifically noting that it meets NH heat-treated standards.
- In an effort to protect the future of Fransted and the beautiful White Mountain Region, we all must do our part to stop the spread of infectious pests.
- Thank you for your utmost cooperation and understanding of this important preservation policy.
- Gathering wood from the forest for firewood is strictly prohibited at Fransted.
- No burning of construction material/pallets/lumber scraps or anything other than split firewood.
- Damaging the trees within the campground will incur a fee of $250.
- This policy will be strictly enforced.
Noise Policy / Quiet Hours
- Our campground is in an area that abounds with natural noises.
- We hope that this is one of the reasons you have come to the White Mountains.
- Our measurement of your noise level includes how it is affecting your neighbors.
- If it is unacceptable to them, then it is unacceptable to us.
- No radios or music is allowed to be played at the sites, with the exception of acoustic guitar.
- The hours between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am are considered quiet hours.
- Any conversations after 10:00 pm should not be audible outside the area of your site.
- All outdoor RV lights and any type of site decorative lighting must be turned off at 10:00 pm.
- No gas or diesel generators are allowed - you may use your solar-powered generators, as they do not make noise.
- Please note that this campground does not permit radios or any other forms of amplified music.
- Acoustical Guitar & Singing around the campfire is encouraged but only until 10:00 pm, which is quiet time.
Site Etiquette
- In the same regard as our noise policy, activities or actions at your site should not be disturbing to or interfere with your fellow campers’ ability to enjoy their stay.
- Outdoor TV’s/Theater and Star Shower LED Laser Light devices are not permitted at any time.
- As a result of input from our guests, all yard games are permitted to be played only in our front field common area.
Campfires
- Fires should be kept small and under control at all times.
- The daily Fire Danger Rating is posted at the office, and must be followed.
- Flammable accelerants should never be used with a campfire.
- Fires must not be left unattended and must be extinguished with water when you retire for the evening or leave your site.
- All fires must be out by midnight.
Behavior Policy
- Fransted believes camping should be a fun experience with the opportunity for all to enjoy.
- Fransted Campground has zero tolerance for drunkenness, use of illegal drugs, and disorderly conduct.
- Campground management is committed to removing from the campground anyone or thing who’s behavior is deemed inappropriate or disruptive to other campers or the campground.
Drones & Electronic Flying Devices
- To preserve the natural setting and ensure our guests' privacy and safety, drones/electronic flying devices of any size are not permitted at Fransted or on the 45 acres of private land associated with the campground.
Conservation
- Preservation of the natural beauty of Fransted and the White Mountain Region is our responsibility.
- There should be no dumping or littering at the campground.
Dumpster
- Dumpster is available at the front of the property for disposal.
Environmental Guidelines
- Cutting, destroying, or removing any structure, tree, plant, natural feature, or wild animal is prohibited.
Motorcycles
- In order to preserve the quiet, natural camping setting our guests have come to expect here at Fransted, motorcycles are not permitted past the front parking area at any time.
- There are no exceptions.
Visitors
- All visitors to the campground must stop and register with the office upon their arrival and receive a visitor's pass.
- Day visitor hours are 8:00 am - 8:00 pm, and their cars are parked in the front office parking lot.
- Fees apply.
- Unregistered visitors will be asked to leave the campground immediately.
- No day or overnight visitors are allowed for Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July week, Labor Day weekend, and Columbus Day weekend.
Traffic and Pedestrian Safety
- All vehicle and bicycle traffic must yield to pedestrians.
Firepits
- Campfires are only allowed in designated firepits, and firepits may not be moved for any reason.
Smoking
- Smoking is not allowed in any campground buildings or around propane tanks.
- Please use consideration when smoking around others and always distinguish/dispose of appropriately.
Prohibited
- Firearms and/or Fireworks are not permitted on campground property for any reason.
Rule Enforcement and Consequences
- Violation of these rules could mean early departure without refund.
Legal Disclaimer
- This Property is privately owned and operated.
- The management reserves the right to refuse services to anyone and will not be held responsible for accidents or injury to guests. The site is for vacation purposes only.
- The Campground assumes no responsibility for loss through fire, theft, collision, or otherwise to the vehicles or their contents, whether due to negligence or otherwise.
- Use of the Campground and equipment for yourself, your family, and your guests is solely at your own risk and subject to the Campground policies/rules.
- The Campground and its employees shall be saved harmless from any claims, by or on behalf of all those admitted to the Campground pursuant to or because of this agreement.
- Any violation of this agreement, the termination of which shall be in the sole discretion of the campground operator, shall result in termination of this agreement.
- Upon termination, the camper, his/her family and guests shall be deemed to be trespassers, under the Trespass Property Act, and the operator is hereby appointed their respective agent for disconnecting services and the removal of their vehicle(s), trailer(s), structures and equipment.
- Fransted policies are subject to change.
Cancellation Policy
MODERATE
If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
