Country Roads is situated on a mountain ridge in the heart of the majestic northern Catskills, far away from the noises of daily life. With an elevation of 2175 feet, the campground offers a view that will warm a photographer’s heart, with every vista inviting tranquility as the pure mountain air and refreshing breezes dissipate summer heat. There’s something for everyone at Country Roads Campground. Whether you are seeking a moment of solitude or an opportunity for group activity, come and enjoy our beautiful area! Country Roads has a wide variety of recreational activities for everyone to enjoy, including weekend potlucks, roasts, Bingo, and other special entertainment frequently hosted in our large pavilion. From RV’ers to backpackers, people who enjoy nature truly appreciate Country Roads. We offer you a choice of wooded, semi-wooded, or grassy sites. You can bring your own RV, or rent a cabin onsite. We offer free camping to Scout Troops (must be a troop camp-out for boys or girls).

Rules

Check-In Procedure - Check-in: 2:00 P.M. - Check out: 11:00 A.M. - If you are arriving after 9 pm, please let us know in advance. - Photo ID is required at check-in for campers and visitors. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. - Minimum age to rent a campsite is 21 years old. Quiet Hours - Quiet time at the campground is 11 pm-7 am. - All children should be back at their campsite by 11 pm unless accompanied by a registered guest. - Outside TVs and music must be turned off by 11 pm. - If you are bothered by noise from other campers, please contact us at 516-660-3377. - Loud or offensive music is not permitted at any time. Visitors - All visitors are required to register with the campground office and receive a car pass. - Visitor fees are $5.00 per person, per day. - Campers are responsible for their visitors at all times. - Visitors are not permitted to bring their pets. - We reserve the to limit the number of visitors per registered campsite. - Overnight visitors are permitted, provided the total number of people (including children) does not exceed 6 people. Camping - Only 1 camping unit per site is permitted. - Additional tents or camping units are not permitted. - Sleeping in cars is not permitted at any time. Speed Limit - The maximum speed in the campground is 5 mph at all times. - Guests who cannot observe the speed limit will be asked to park their vehicle and walk. - Electric bikes must adhere to the 5mph speed limit. Vehicles - New York State law requires all children under 14 years old to wear a helmet when riding any type of bike. - Golf carts, mini bikes, Mopeds, ATV’s and UTVs are not permitted to be used on the campground property. Child Policy - Parents are responsible for their children at all times. Dogs/Pets - Dogs are permitted provided they are on a leash and under control at all times. - Do not allow your dog to be unleashed at your site, or walked by children who are not able to control them. - Dogs/Pets are not permitted in any public buildings or inside the pool gate. - Exotic pets are not permitted. - Please do not leave your dogs unattended or barking at your site. - Campers with aggressive, threatening, or excessively barking dogs will be asked to remove the dog from the campground. - Rabies certificates are required at check-in for each dog. - There are coyotes, bears, birds of prey and reptiles. - All guests should ensure pets and small children are supervised at all times. Garbage - All garbage must be deposited in the dumpster across from the pavilion. - There is no garbage pickup. - Please do not dispose of motor oil, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic or hazardous waste material in the dumpsters. - Please do not leave garbage in your tent or outside your camper, so as not to attract wild animals. Water Usage - To conserve our well water, the use of sprinklers, splash pads, hot tubs, kiddie pools, and other similar devices are not permitted. - Please report any water leaks in the park to a staff member as soon as possible. - Our dump station is free to registered campers and located across from the pool. Smoking - Please be considerate of other campers. - Smoking of any kind is not permitted inside any public building, pavilion, or inside the pool area. - Smoking materials other than cigarettes are only permitted at your campsite. Firewood and Campfires - Firewood is available at the store for purchase. - Cutting or trimming trees on campground property is prohibited. - Firewood deliveries from outside vendors are not permitted. - Campfires are only allowed in the designated fire ring on your campsite. - Please do not move the fire ring. - Never leave a campfire unattended. - Campfires must be extinguished before leaving the campsite or retiring for the night. - Burning garbage, plastic, glass, or metal is not permitted. - Please do not leave garbage in your fire ring. Pool and Hot Tub Rules - Hours of operation are 10 am- dusk, weather permitting. - We do not have a Lifeguard on duty for the pool and hot tub. - New York State Law requires us to inform you of the following rules for swimming: Never swim alone. - A minimum of 2 Adults over 18 years old are required to be inside the pool area at all times when in use. - Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by 2 adults, over 18 years old, at all times when using the facilities. - No running, diving, or horseplay is permitted at any time. - Glass is not permitted in the pool area. - Only registered guests are permitted to use the pool. Flags & Decorations - The following flags may be displayed at your campsite and throughout the campground: American, Canadian, Military, including Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, POW, MIA, Veterans organizations, sports teams, and decorative flags such as holiday, seasonal, or garden. - Political signs, flags, posters for candidates, and political groups or issues are prohibited. - Country Roads Campground is in a natural, wildlife habitat area.

Cancellation Policy

MODERATE If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
