Rules

Check-In Procedure - Check-in time RV Campsites: 2:00 p.m. - Check-in time Mansion, Cottage, and Glamping Sites: 4:00 p.m. (entitles you to your site until 11 am the day after check-in) - Check-out time RV Campsites: 12:00 a.m. - Check-out time Cottage, House rentals, and Glamping Campers: 11:00 a.m. - Early check-in is not permitted. - The guests who paid for the site the night before you have paid for their site until noon. - We will not ask a guest to leave so that you can check in early. - If you will be arriving in the area early, please make arrangements until your site opens up at noon. - We do not have a waiting area for those checking in early. - You do not need to contact the office for check out, unless you need to pay for an after-hours check-in. - Late check-ins are allowed at any time. - Please reach out to us for instructions. - If you are staying in our park for a month or longer, we require an agreement to be signed. - Please reach out to us for more details. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Entering the Park - All RVs should enter the park on Lumina Drive and circle around to your campsite on Marshburn Circle. - You will be backing into your campsite. Site Changes - You have been assigned a specific site. If you wish to move, please check with the office. - Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. - Your Site # is subject to change prior to arrival unless a site lock fee was paid during the time of booking. - Please inquire before moving sites. Open Fires - Open fires are not allowed in our park. - Fires must be in firepits or designated fire rings. Parking - Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. - Use of more than one site will result in additional charges. - Our cottage offers 1 parking space. If additional parking is needed, we have an overflow area on Lumina Drive in the grassed area. - Our house rental offers 5 parking spots in front of the home; additional parking is in our overflow area on Lumina Drive, a grassed area. - Our overnight offers 1 parking space at your site; additional parking is in our overflow area on Lumina Drive, a grassed area. Storage - Storage is not allowed under or around your RV. Site and Park Navigation - Please be respectful of your neighbor and do not walk between sites when navigating the park. - Please use main roads, sidewalks, and designated public paths to walk around the campground. Washing - Washing RVs or vehicles is only permitted with 1 bucket of water and a sponge. - Hose washing is not permitted, as it can result in a mess and disturb your neighbors. Pet Policies - We are a pet-friendly resort, but pets must be walked on a leash, cleaned up after, and may not disturb other guests. - Pets are the responsibility of the owner. - Management reserves the right to restrict disruptive or aggressive breeds. - Upon check-in, please notify the office of your pets. - Our cottage, RV rentals, and house rentals are not pet-friendly. - Pets are not allowed inside the Mansion, Cottage, and Glamping Campers Leash - We ask that you keep your pets on a leash at all times. - This helps you, your pet, and other guests and their pets stay safe. - Pets are not allowed in the Pavilion, Pier, or waterfront walkway. Pet Clean up - All pet owners are required to pick up all pet droppings on and off their site, seal it in a plastic bag, and dispose of it in a trash can. - Failure to clean up after your pet will result in you being asked to leave without a refund. Buildings and Pool Area - Pets are not allowed in the buildings, on the pier, or on the waterfront walkway. - County code laws do not allow pets in our building or pool area. - Please do not tie your pet to our trees, doors, or posts Leaving Pets Unattended - Pets may not be left unattended in our park. - Please do not tie your pet to a tree and leave. - Leaving your pets unattended is dangerous for your pet, as many factors, including weather, power outages, etc., can affect your pet's well-being while you are away. Pet Vaccinations - Due to Insurance Requirements, all pets must be vaccinated in our park. - Please make sure your pet’s shots are up-to-date. Barking - Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. - Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without a refund. Cottage and House - Our Cottage and House rental is not pet-friendly. Speed Limit - The park speed limit is 5 mph. - This policy is to keep you, your children, and your pets safe. - Exceeding this speed limit will result in a warning. - Multiple warnings will require us to ask you to leave. - Safety is our number one priority for our guests. RV & Vehicle Policy - Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV per site and 1 vehicle per site unless noted. - Extra vehicles will need to be parked in additional parking spots in our overflow parking area. - Please do not park on our grass. - Ruts caused in your site due to additional vehicles will result in damage charges. - Trailers, Boats, and additional vehicles will incur additional fees for camping. - A nightly registration covers 1 RV and 1 vehicle only. - No parking in common areas. - Do not park in the middle of the road. - Do not park in sites that you did not register for, and do not block our pavilion and bathhouse entrances. ATV’s, Dirt Bikes, Motorcycles, and Golf Carts - OHV’s are welcome onsite but must adhere to speed limit regulations Severe Weather - In case of severe weather, seek shelter in the pavilion or the bathhouse. - Signs for shelter areas are posted. - We love pets, so please bring them with you, and please do not leave them in your RV during severe weather warnings. Visitors - Only registered guests are permitted to enter the park. - Visitors may not bring pets. - Gilligan's Island Resort reserves the right to limit the number of people visiting a site. - Day visitors must depart by 10:00 pm EST. - Overnight visitors must depart by noon EST. - Please check with the office before inviting any visitors. - Registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors are properly registered and that all campground rules are followed. - All guests visiting someone in the park must register and pick up a pass at the office and park in the designated area. - Vehicle Pass must be visible at all times, please. Electrical Use - You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in our RV. - Amp usage over the 50 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. - Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay. - Please notify the office so that we can notify maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay. - Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. - Maintenance is happy to help. - Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so. Restrooms - For the comfort of all our guests, restrooms are open 24/7 with the exception of freezing weather. - We ask for your help in keeping the restrooms clean, please. - Guests under the age of 18 need adult supervision in the bathrooms and showers, as well as the pool area. Pool & Playground - No lifeguard is on duty. - Pool and Playground open at 10:00 am after quiet time and close at dusk. - Anyone under 18 must be supervised in these areas and all areas of the campground at all times. - Horseplay, running, and diving are not permitted in our pool area. - Alcohol and food are not permitted inside the pool itself. - Loud music, glass, and rough play are not permitted at our pool or playground. - Failure to follow these rules results in you being asked to leave without a refund. - Children in diapers or who are not fully potty-trained are not allowed in our pool. - Only swimsuits and swimming trunks permitted in our pool, no cut-offs. - Please do not let your children climb our trees, as it damages them. - Our pool is not wheelchair accessible. - Pool is open from the 3rd week of May until Labor Day weekend. - Provided wristbands are required to be worn at all times within the park. Quiet Time Policies - Quiet time is 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. - Anyone playing loud music will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund. Trash Disposal and Recycling. - A dumpster is available on the east side of the park on Lumina Drive. - Please do not dispose of any motor oil, cooking oil, wires, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic or hazardous waste items. - Failure to adhere to this rule may result in charges for disposal fees. Children - Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. - Horseplay, running, or diving in the pool is not permitted. - Riding bicycles without a parent and on our main entrance road is prohibited for the safety of your children and our incoming RV guests. - The playground and pool close at dusk. - Anyone under the age of 18 must be back at their site by dusk. - Children may not use the restrooms without being accompanied by a parent or guardian. Drones - Drones are not permitted in our park. - Please do not fly drones over people or RVs. - There are several local area parks where drones are permitted for your enjoyment. Clotheslines - Clotheslines are not permitted in our park. Fireworks and Firearms - Fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited in our park. - The prohibition of fireworks includes sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers. - The prohibition of firearms includes all guns, including airsoft, BB, and pellet guns. - If these items are seen outside of your RV, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund. Smoking - Smoking is not allowed inside the Mansion, Cottage, and Glamping Campers. Fees - The following fees will be assessed for damages as a result of not following these terms and conditions. - Tobacco, Marijuana Smoking will result in a $300.00 fee. - Pets will result in a $300.00 fee. - Property damage as a result of negligence will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Liability & Conduct Policy - Management shall not be held liable or responsible for non-utilization of package components or loss of recreational opportunities due to weather or any other circumstances beyond our control. - Gilligan's Island RV Resort or its management bears no responsibility for any loss or damage to any person, property, or thing howsoever caused. - The management reserves the right to evict any day user, guest, camper, or group of campers for any cause. - Violating the indoor smoking and inside pet policy is grounds for immediate eviction.

Cancellation Policy

MODERATE If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
