Rules

Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure - Campsite check-in: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM. - Campsite check-out: 11:00 AM. - Transient check-in: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. - Transient check-out: 11:00 AM. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. HST Registration Number - 129599817RT0001 (Duttona Family Campground Ltd.) Speed Limit - Speed limit is 8 km – please drive slow. Quiet Hours - Quiet hours 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM daily. Main Camping Season - May 1 - September 30 Vehicle - Only one vehicle per site is included with your fees. - Do not block roads or park in any vacant site. Electric & Water Services - Tampering with taps, hydro meters, or breakers may result in immediate prosecution. - Please do not use another electrical outlet other than the one assigned to your site. - Please be aware of your water usage, excessive use may result in additional charges. - Extended emergencies affecting utility services may result in a campground closure, be prepared to return home. Visitors - Day Visitors must be pre-registerd, additional costs apply. - Vistors must submit a waiver from our website. - Seasonal campers – refer to the additional Rules & Policies. Children - Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. - Bicycle riding is permitted during daylight hours only. - Helmets must be worn by those under 16 yrs of age for their safety. - Children are to be on their own sites by dusk (unless there is a scheduled event) - The Playground is not to be used after dark. - Do not walk or cut through other campsites. Pets - A maximum of 2 Pets are allowed per site. - Pets must be on leash at all times & never left unattended. - Put pet waste into a tied plastic bag, deposit into appropriate garbage containers. - Do not put in any bathroom garbage or down toilets. - All pets must be friendly towards adults, children and other pets. - Crates, cages or fenced dog runs are not permitted on your site. - Pets are required to be licensed and up to date on vaccines. - Aggressive dogs will not be allowed. Alcohol Use - Keep all alcohol on your site. - No open alcohol allowed while walking around the public areas of the campground. - Although, we do not restrict alcohol use, we do ask that you drink responsibly so it does not lead to any issues. Garbage & Recycling - The Garbage dumpster is under video surveillance & located at the front entrance. - The dumpster is for household garbage only. - Any large items are not allowed in or beside the dumpster. - Recycling is encouraged to be taken home. - We will advise campers when management is doing a run to the landfill for larger items (additional fees may be charged) Campfires - Campfires are allowed in existing fire pits only and must be contained to the size of the fire pit. - Do not move firepits without permission. - Campfires must be managed and be extinguished before you leave or retire for the evening. - Firewood is available for purchase from the store. - No outside firewood is allowed; this is for the respect & protection of the local ecosystem and recommended by the Municipality to uphold. - Foraging for firewood in the campground or forested areas is not allowed. Golf Carts, ATVs & Boats - Boats, Golf carts, dirt bikes, ATVs etc are not allowed. - Utility trailers are not allowed without Management approval and may not be stored at the campground. - Work Vehicles may not be parked at the campground. Camp Site - No tents are to be set up on your site without prior permission. - No landscaping or construction is to be done onsite without prior permission. - No washing your trailer unless permission has been given. - Keep your site clean & tidy at all times. Outdoor Swimming Pool - In accordance with the Southwestern Public Health Unit, all swimmers must shower before entering pool. - Pool hours are posted. - All children 15 years or under must be supervised in the pool. - Smoking, food, alcohol, or other beverage containers are not permitted in the pool enclosure. - Pool phone is for emergency use only. - First aid supplies are available at the pool. - The pool may be closed due to inclement weather, safety or at any time subject to our discretion. - We reserve the right to refuse admittance to the pool for any unruly activity, health and/or safety reasons. - Do not lean or push on pool fence. Use towel racks provided. - Do not hang towels over the pool fence. Communications, Social Media Etiquette - We use email as our main method of communication. - At least one email address must be provided for this purpose. - We have a Website as well as a Facebook page to communicate general park information, post pictures, post events, and highlight park information. - No account or sensitive information is to be discussed online. - We ask for your attitude to remain positive and respectful when using these outlets. - Any rude or disrespectful comments will be removed. - Any violation of any federal, provincial, or municipal laws by a camper, or their guests will likely result in a reservation being cancelled without refund. Quiet Time - To ensure that all campers enjoy a peaceful camping experience, no excessive noise in or out of your RV is permitted at any time during the day. - 10pm to 8am, conversations should be quiet and any other outdoor noise, such as music, instruments, TV, etc. be turned off. - Partying, noise disturbances, disrespect or noncompliance to these rules will not be tolerated. Guest Conduct - We strive to provide a friendly, safe, and wholesome environment that all campers can enjoy. - If you have any concerns, please direct them to Management where we will be happy to assist. - We appreciate your care and co-operation in making the camping experience here enjoyable for all ages. - A positive attitude will lead to a more positive outcome. Campground Disclaimer - This property is obligated to abide by all laws: federal, provincial and by local authorities. - This includes any safety protocols issued by a Pandemic, War or any Safety Governances. - These rules and regulations are required by law and/or have been implemented for the safety, health, welfare, and the protection of the property, management and for all campers as we see fit. - Duttona Family Campground reserves the right to ask any camper or visitor to leave the campground for any aggressive actions or for non-compliance of any of the above rules; no refunds will be given.

Cancellation Policy

MODERATE If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
