Check-In Procedure - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Camping - Camping is permitted only in designated areas on LCRA land. Vehicles - Only licensed authorized vehicles are permitted in the parks. Alcohol - Please drink responsibly. Fire - Campfires are permitted only in designated fire rings or barbecue pits. - At Matagorda Bay Nature Park, no open fires permitted unless contained in an above-ground device with a spark screen installed covering the fire. Hunting/Trapping - Hunting and trapping are not permitted. Prohibited - Possession or discharge of any kind of fireworks or explosives is prohibited. Swimming - Swimming is permitted but not within 50 feet of any boat ramp. - Swimming is at your own risk. - There are no lifeguards. - Portable swimming pools or slip 'n slides are prohibited. Pet Policy - Please clean up and properly dispose of all pet waste. - Protect pets and wildlife by keeping pets on leash in designated camping and picnicking areas. - Outside designated camping and picnicking areas, pets must be kept under their owner's direct control. Quiet Hours - Respect quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Cleanliness - Thank you for not littering.
