Aspen Grove RV Park

Tremonton, Utah

48 RV Sites

Aspen Grove RV Park occupies a well-developed property in Tremonton, Utah, at the intersection of Interstate 15 and Interstate 84 in Box Elder County—one of the most strategically positioned campgrounds in northern Utah for travelers crossing between Salt Lake City, Boise, and the Great Basin destinations that converge on this corner of the state. The park's 54 sites are built for modern RV travel, with full hookups, EV charging at individual sites, big-rig-friendly pull-throughs, and a clubhouse capable of hosting groups up to 80 guests in a region where quality private RV infrastructure has historically been limited. All 54 sites include electricity, water, sewer, and WiFi, with onsite laundry and shower and bathroom facilities providing the daily practical amenities. EV charging at individual sites is a forward-looking infrastructure choice that distinguishes Aspen Grove from most campgrounds in northern Utah. A sports court, playground, cornhole, horseshoes, and ladder-ball serve the recreational needs of families and groups, and a fenced dog park accommodates traveling pets. The clubhouse with its full kitchen and lounge area makes the park capable of hosting private events, family reunions, and group camping gatherings that most campgrounds cannot accommodate properly. The park has earned consistently high ratings from Good Sam and independent review sites for its cleanliness and customer service. Tremonton sits in Box Elder County's Cache Valley corridor, where the mountains of the Wellsville Range rise to the east and the flats of the Great Salt Lake basin stretch west toward the lake's northern arm. The agricultural character of the valley—sugar beets, wheat, and livestock operations that reflect Cache Valley's history as one of Utah's most productive farming regions—gives Tremonton a working rural character that distinguishes it from the ski resort towns and national park gateway communities that define much of Utah's tourism identity. Crystal Hot Springs, just south of Tremonton, provides natural geothermal soaking pools and a waterpark facility fed by the same artesian springs that have attracted visitors to this valley since the nineteenth century. The Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge, located just south of Brigham City along the Great Salt Lake's northeastern shore, is one of the most important shorebird migration staging areas in the Western Hemisphere—the refuge's freshwater marshes at the mouth of the Bear River provide habitat for millions of birds during the spring and fall migrations, including white pelicans, tundra swans, and over 200 species of shorebird in a single season. Willard Bay State Park provides warm-water boating and fishing on a freshwater reservoir just south of Tremonton. The Spiral Jetty, Robert Smithson's iconic earthwork spiraling into the Great Salt Lake from the Rozel Point shore, is accessible as a day trip for art and landscape travelers. Bear Lake, about an hour northeast, offers turquoise water comparable to the Caribbean in a mountain valley setting that provides swimming, paddleboarding, and boating. Aspen Grove RV Park operates year-round as a northern Utah corridor stop and destination campground, with summer bringing peak demand from I-15 and I-84 travelers and the shoulder seasons from April through June and September through October delivering comfortable conditions for visiting the Bear River refuge, Crystal Hot Springs, and the broader Box Elder County outdoor landscape. The park's modern infrastructure and central location make it equally useful as an overnight stop between Salt Lake City and Boise and as a base for multi-day exploration of northern Utah's underappreciated lake, refuge, and mountain terrain.
