Our park-like grounds are nestled among the mountains at the foot of Mt. Rainier. We're located a short 25-minute drive from the Nisqually Gate of the Mt. Rainier National Park. We're committed to providing our guests with a clean, safe, comfortable camping experience and every opportunity possible to retreat and commune with nature. Rules

Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure - Out of respect for others and their camping experience, check-in is between 1:00 - 8 PM on the day of arrival. - Check-out is 11:00 AM on the day of departure. - All guests must register/check in at the barn/office. - Look for the white glass door on the large building to your right as you enter our property. - Early check-in will not be granted as we do not have an early arrival waiting area, so please plan accordingly. - If you arrive after 3:00 PM (Sun.–Wed) or 5:00 PM (all other days), your information will be posted on the white glass door, at the large industrial-looking building, on your right-hand side, upon entering the property. - If the gate is closed, it's not locked. - Unhook the chain, open the gate, and close it behind you. - Only under very certain circumstances will arrivals after 8:00 PM be granted. - Please reach out, at least a day in advance, to make arrangements. - Please plan ahead. - There is no formal check-out procedure. - We ask that before your departure, you ensure all of your gear is packed, your fire is fully extinguished, the picnic table is returned to its original location, and all trash and recycling are disposed of properly. - Late departures, without management prior approval, will result in an automatic charge of $20.00. - If departure has not taken place by 1:00 PM, the departing guest will be charged an additional daily charge for their specific RV or tent site (see daily rates). - If departure has not taken place by 1:00 PM, the departing guest will be charged an additional daily charge for their specific RV or tent site (see daily rates). - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Dump Station - ELKAMP does not have a dump station. - Please dump your black and gray water tanks prior to arriving at ELKAMP. - To help locate a dump near you, a couple of resources are: www.rvdumps.com or www.sanidumps.com. - The closest dump stations are: Gust Backstrom City Park in Morton (15 miles south) or Alder Lake Park Campground (9 miles north). After-Hours Assistance/Security - In the case of an emergency, dial 911. - Give them your location address as being: ELKAMP EASTCREEK - 184 Naugle Road, Mineral, WA 98355. - Be prepared to meet authorities at the front gate of the campground to direct them to your location. - After dialing 911, please notify our main line to inform us of your emergency. Air Conditioners and Generators - Due to the noise generated by these machines, we ask that no air conditioners or generators be used while at ELKAMP. - We do allow air conditioners when the temperature reaches 85 degrees or more, but ask that they be turned off from the hours of 10:00 PM–8:00 AM. Campfire Rings - Each campsite comes with a campfire ring – please do not move the fire rings from their original location. - Guests are permitted to light wood campfires in the rings only and use the attached grill top for cooking. - Please do not use charcoal briquettes. - The use of charcoal briquettes will incur a $50.00 cleaning fee. - Any attempt at burning large chunks of wood, and left on the property, will also incur a $50 cleanup fee. - Fires are to be monitored at all times and extinguished completely before retiring to bed or departing the area. Children - Parents are responsible for their children’s safety and behavior. - Please supervise children at all times and in/around the restroom building, dishwashing station, and bridge over the Eastcreek. - Please do not allow children to play in the roadway unsupervised, nor walk/bike ride through other guests' sites. - Please accompany your children on all trails outside the campground. - Children should be in their sight at dusk and never allowed to roam the forest alone, or they could be eaten by trolls. Clotheslines - Clotheslines are not permitted on our property. - There are no laundry facilities here at ELKAMP. - Please inquire with management about facilities nearby, which are in Morton and Eatonville. Daily Rates - Rates are based upon 4 persons per site and can change without notice. - RV sites allow for one tow/towed vehicle. - Tent sites allow one vehicle. - RV sites (back in or pull through) $78.00 – RV fees include water and 30 AMP electricity. - Rates subject to change. - Tent site $48.00 – Tent fees include a nearby water spigot and use of restroom facilities. - No electricity at tent sites. - Rates subject to change. - Additional persons – $5.00 per person, per night, for up to two additional persons (6 maximum per site). - Pets $3.00 per pet per night, up to three (3) pets maximum. - Additional vehicle – If given advance notice, prior to arrival – $10.00 per vehicle per night (pending space availability). - If no additional advance notice – $30.00 per vehicle per night (pending space availability). - Visitor day pass – If given advance notice, prior to arrival – $10.00 (pending space availability, includes 1 vehicle and 4 people maximum). - No guest pets are allowed due to liability. - Visitor passes expire at 8:00 PM, and at this time, all guests must depart. - No exceptions. Drones - Drones are not permitted on our property. - Guests who do not adhere to this rule will be asked to leave. Falling Debris - Trees and the shade they provide are an integral part of an enjoyable ELKAMP experience. - However, trees pose a natural hazard of falling debris, such as leaves and branches, especially during windy and/or extreme weather conditions. - We do not assume responsibility for these natural hazards or for any property damage, injury, or other circumstances that may result. - Please consider this when parking at ELKAMP. - If the management feels that a site is unsafe, we reserve the right to change the location of your accommodation to ensure your safety. - In the event of extreme and dangerous weather conditions, management reserves the right to cancel and reschedule the reservation to a mutually agreeable date. Firewood - As an amenity to our guests, wood may be purchased at the campground office for $10.00 per bundle, with free kindling. - Please do not cut limbs off of trees, and do not pick up downed trees to burn. - Please do not burn treated lumber and lumber with nails or other metals embedded in it. - Burning of lumber or branches longer than 22" is prohibited. Firearms and Fireworks - Please respect that you are on private property. - No firearms of any kind are allowed outside a personal camping vehicle at any time. - Fireworks are not permitted at any time. Garbage - Help us keep the property clean by depositing all garbage and recycling in the designated receptacles throughout the grounds. - Our bins are located next to the restrooms, the small cabin, and near our remote tent sites. - We strongly suggest throwing all food waste securely away before sunset so as not to attract animals to your site. - Please locate the blue recycling bins next to the black garbage bins. - Note: If any items are left behind, all items will be discarded. - A minimum of $50/hr cleaning fee will be assessed for additional cleanup/disposal. General Terms - A $2.00 processing fee is required for all reservations. - No personal checks will be accepted. - The person registered to the specific site will be responsible for the condition of the assigned campsite, as well as the behavior of all individuals and pets within it. - Reservations are not refundable due to weather conditions. - See the cancellation policy and refund policy. - Rates are only guaranteed at the time of booking and are subject to change at any time without notice. - Changes made to your reservation after it has been confirmed may result in higher rates. - Due to various requests, we reserve the right to move customers to different sites at any time, for any reason. - Confirmed reservations are guaranteed a site, but not a specific site. - "Locked in" sites will not be changed. - There is no change fee if a customer extends a reservation, as long as the change includes dates from the original reservation. - All reservations must be used within the calendar year of booking. - Reservations cannot be transferred to the next calendar year. - If a customer departs before the scheduled check-out date, the remaining dates will be canceled without a refund. - Policies and procedures are updated frequently and are subject to change without notice. - If requesting a change in your reservation, 14 days or more from the original check-in date, a $10 fee will be incurred. - If requesting a change in your reservation, 13 days or fewer from the original check-in date, a $35 fee will be incurred. Glass Bottles - For the safety of all who are enjoying the creek, we do not allow glass bottles in or near the creek. Group Booking Deposit - A group booking is designated as three (3) or more tent or RV spaces in one reservation. - For all group bookings, a 50% deposit is collected at the time of booking, with the balance due 30 days before the reservation date. - Final payments are non-refundable. Hammocks - Hammocks are allowed only if they have tree-friendly straps. - Wires, cables, etc., are not appropriate. - Keep hammocks within your respective site and never walk over moss, ferns, and other foliage in order to assemble a hammock. - Please respect staff requests to move or dismantle a hammock if deemed necessary. Holiday Terms and Conditions - All of the above terms and conditions also apply to holidays, except as described below. - Memorial Day Holiday – Three (3) three-night minimum stay is required for all reservations. - July 4th Holiday – Three (3) three-night minimum stay is required for all reservations. - Labor Day Holiday – Three (3) three-night minimum stay is required for all reservations. Holiday Restrictions - No admittance of extra cars or guests if not registered at the time of check-in. - No site changes will be possible. - We will do whatever is possible to honor requests as best as possible. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Property - ELKAMP is not responsible for loss, damage, or claims to property of guests due to fire, theft, accident, or any other cause. - For maximum security, we ask guests to lock valuables in their cars and out of sight. OHVs - OHVs – Off-Highway Vehicles, ATVs, dirt bikes, or motorcycles, etc. – are welcome on-site but may not be used within the park. - They may only be used to get you to and from your site. - Please adhere to the noise level and maintain 5 MPH at all times. - Please see the "Vehicles" section below for additional parking charges. Pets Policy - We welcome well-behaved pets to the campground. - The pet fee is $3.00 per night, per pet, up to three (3) pets maximum per reservation. - Unauthorized (aggressive or noisy) animals will result in the termination of your stay, without a refund. - It is the responsibility of the pet owner to prevent pets from making excessive noise (barking or whining) or being disruptive or aggressive toward other guests or their pets. - If a pet is deemed dangerous, harmful, or disruptive, management has the sole discretion to require guests to find other accommodations. - ELKAMP also reserves the right to reach out to animal control to have a pet removed. - If property damages are incurred as a result of the actions of a pet, ELKAMP may charge for additional services and repairs. - Pets must have a leash/harness on them and must be held and controlled by a responsible person at the other end of the leash/harness at all times. - Pets may not be left unattended at your campsite, inside a car, or an RV. - Pets may not be tethered to utility fixtures, trees, picnic tables, or fences. - Pet waste must be picked up by the pet owner. - Waste bags are available in the barn/office for $1.00 per roll. Quiet Hours/Amplified Music - Noise travels extremely easily throughout the grounds, and our goal is to have a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. - We do not allow amplified music of any kind, at any time of day - this includes small portable speakers. - Our expectations are that all guests be mindful of others. - Do not assume others like listening to your style of music. - Always be courteous and respectful to your neighbors. - This is a place for all guests to relax with nature. - We recommend using headsets, earbuds, etc., to enjoy your music. - Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM and exist for the enjoyment of all guests. - Any guests exhibiting unacceptable behavior will be subject to the eviction of not only themselves but their entire party - no warnings - no refund. - Thanks in advance for keeping a calm, peaceful, and respectful environment. Restrooms & Showers - One bathhouse is available. - Due to Board of Health Regulations, washing of animals and the washing of dishes is prohibited inside the restrooms. - Sinks for washing dishes are located behind the bathhouse. - Amenities are subject to change. - Please be considerate of others and leave the bathhouse as you would want to find it. - One shower room is available. - Four quarters ($1) will allow for 2-minute intervals of water or shower time. - Quarters are available at the office during office hours. - Please use biodegradable soaps for all cleaning needs. Required Payment - 100% of your total cost of stay is due before arrival. Site Furniture - Furniture items (fire rings, Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, wood benches, and parking barriers) are provided for the enjoyment of all guests. - These items have been strategically located throughout the property by management and are not to be relocated or moved by any guest. - Exception: If guests move the picnic tables within their site during their visit, we ask that the guest relocates it to its original location before their departure. - Note: Adirondack chairs and wood benches throughout the park are for the enjoyment of all and should not be moved to individual campsites. - We will charge $130.00 per chair per day for any violation of this rule. Site Changes - You will be assigned a specific site upon arrival. - Please check with the office if you would like to move. - Due to various reasons and maintenance, moving sites may not be possible. - We reserve the right to move customers to different sites at any time, for any reason. - Confirmed reservations are guaranteed a site, but not a specific location. - "Locked in" sites will not be moved. Smoking - If you smoke, please be considerate and smoke downwind of your neighbors, and please make sure that every butt from your cigarette goes into a fire ring. - No smoking inside any buildings, and please stand a minimum of 25 feet away from any building or other persons. Speed Limit - Safety and dust are the reasons for the maximum speed limit of 5 MPH. - Please follow directional signs and be aware of your speed. Storm/Road Closure Policy - No refunds will be given if the party is unable to arrive at the property due to road closures. - This could include, but is not limited to: storms, rockslides, smoke, and fires. - If all access roads to the property are reported closed by the appropriate governmental authorities, a rain-check will be issued to be used within one calendar year (365 days) of the scheduled arrival date. Storage - Storage (boxes, bins, cabinets, or containers) is not allowed under or around your RV or picnic table. Vehicles - Tent sites allow for one vehicle. - One tow vehicle and one RV trailer are allowed for all RV sites. - Requests for additional parking must be made at least 24 hours in advance of arrival. - Additional vehicles arriving on the day of check-in, without prior notification, will be charged a daily rate of $30.00 per night. - There are no electric vehicle charging stations on the property. - No washing or rinsing off your vehicles at any time. - Registered guest - additional motorcycle $5.00 per day - with 24-hour advance notice, minimum. - Registered guest - additional automobile $10.00 per day - with 24-hour advance notice, minimum. - Registered guest - additional trailer and boat $15.00 per day - with 24-hour advance notice, minimum. - Additional vehicle, trailer, or boat, without prior notification, $30.00 per day. Vehicle Repairs - Repairs to RVs and vehicles are not permitted in our park at any time. Visitors - Day visitors are all allowed, with 24-hour prior approval. - Reach out to us before arrival if expecting any guests. - Day visitors are welcome between the hours of 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM. - Visitors must check in at the office. - Visitors are the responsibility of the registered guest and must abide by all Terms and Conditions. - The cost for day visitors is $10.00 (includes 1 car and 4 people maximum and no pets, due to liability). - The vehicle must display a parking tag, provided by the front office. - The cost can be paid either by the guest or the charges can be placed on the credit card of the registered guest. - All-day visitors must depart by 8:00 PM. - Visitors who are coming for a partial overnight stay with the registered guest are allowed, with prior approval. - Visitors are the responsibility of the original guest who registered for the overnight stays in our park and must abide by all Terms and Conditions. - A $5.00 per night per person charge will be incurred if the total number of persons exceeds 4, up to a maximum of 6 total (inclusive of registered guests and other guests). - An additional $10.00 nightly charge will be added for any additional vehicle (24-hour advance notice). - The vehicle must display a parking tag, provided by the front office. WiFi - Complimentary WiFi is provided in our park. - However, we do not guarantee signal strength at your specific campsite. - Due to the number of tall trees throughout our campground, please anticipate interrupted or possibly no connectivity. - Streaming will be extremely difficult.

Cancellation Policy

MODERATE If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
