Alpine Valley RV Resort in Alpine, WY, offers 119 full-hookup RV sites with 20, 30, and 50-amp service and room for rigs up to 75 feet.
Site categories run from standard back-ins and pull-throughs through deluxe back-ins, deluxe gravel back-ins, deluxe pull-throughs, and premium back-ins, with dedicated ADA sites. All carry water, sewer, and electric with site-delivered WiFi, a fire pit, and a picnic table. At 75 feet the pull-throughs take long coaches. Laundry, a bathhouse with showers, and a playground cover the essentials. Pets are welcome, with a dog park.
Walking trails and river frontage run the property, with whitewater rafting, boating, and picnicking, and off-road riding nearby.
Alpine sits a quarter mile from Palisades Reservoir, adjacent to the Snake River, within a scenic drive of Grand Teton National Park and close enough to Yellowstone to serve as a genuine two-park base. Coming from Afton, turn right onto 89 toward Jackson and the resort is the first right.

Traveler’s Tip
- We highly encourage guests to purchase third-party trip insurance due to the strict cancellation policy and unforeseen events such as weather, breakdowns, or pandemics.
Common FAQ's
Are you pet friendly?
- We love that you travel with your fur babies and they are welcome at our Resort!
- We DO NOT allow pet fences, crates, kennels, or enclosed structures outside of the RV.
- Pets may NOT be left unattended at any time and must be leashed when outside of your RV for safety reasons.
- A $25+ clean-up fee will be applied to your account if you fail to clean up after your pet.
- We also ask that there is no washing or drying of pet bedding in our laundry facilities.
- 4 pets per site maximum.
- The resort is not responsible for, and will hold accountable pet owners for, any injury or damage caused by pets.
- In addition, the owner of the pet that causes injury or damage to others is expected to resolve the issue directly with the injured party.
What is your cancellation policy?
- RV Cancellations: $25/per site will be charged for all lodging and RV cancellations made outside of 7 days prior to arrival.
- Cancellations/no shows made within 7 days of stay will forfeit entire payment, no exceptions (please see trip insurance note).
- Change Policy: No charges are applied for changes to reservations outside of the site specific 7 day cancellation policy.
- Trip Insurance: We strongly recommend for people to buy trip insurance for their vacation.
- Our season is very short and most people make reservations well in advance to visit us.
- We are in a remote area with very little “walk in” traffic.
- Because of this, once reservations are inside our cancellation policy, they are non-refundable regardless of circumstance (for example: undesirable weather, travel/road conditions, illness, health-related issues, COVID-19, family emergency, etc.).
Is there free Wi-Fi on property?
- Yes.
- We offer free Wi-Fi for all guests throughout the entire park.
Do you allow more than one RV per site?
- We allow only one RV per site.
- This includes but not limited to truck campers, pop up campers and vans.
- Please reach out at our office if you have questions.
Site number assignments
- We cannot guarantee specific site numbers.
- Though we will do our best to accommodate your requests, sites will be assigned automatically and is subject to change at any time prior to arrival.
What if I need to arrive late or leave early?
- We understand your plans may change, but we cannot refund for early checkout or late arrivals.
Do we allow horse/goose neck trailers?
- We do not allow horse trailers or goose neck trailers.
- If you are unsure if your trailer fits into this category, please reach out before you book a reservation.
Where do I find trip insurance?
- We are very firm on our cancellation policy (Cancellations/no shows made within 7 days of stay will forfeit entire payment, no exceptions) therefore we highly recommend trip insurance.
- There are lots of great options out there and some credit card providers offer it as well.
What will I see on my credit card charge?
- Your charge will show up as "FSP*Jackson hole Outdoor".
Do you allow ATV’s?
- We sit between 2 National Forests so there are some awesome ATV trails that you can get to.
- You are allowed to drive the ATV in and out of our park but must obey the 5mph speed limit within the park.
Car/truck camping
- We do not allow car/truck camping.
- Rigs/vans/truck campers must be (mostly) self-contained.
- Please reach out for clarification.
How many people can we have at our site?
- 4 people are included in the price but up to 6 can stay at each site.
- We charge $8/person per night over 4 people.
How far are you from Grand Teton National Park?
- To Moose, where the GTNP headquarters are located, we are located approximately 49 miles, or roughly an hour's drive.
How far is the campground from the town of Jackson?
- To Jackson's historic Town Square, we are 36 miles or a ~45-minute drive.
How far are you from Yellowstone National Park?
- To the South Entrance, we are approximately 92 miles, or a ~2-hour drive.
What amenities do you have?
- While our park is under construction we have a temporary Lodge Office.
- We just finished our laundry facility and fenced in dog park.
- Our playground was just installed and family game area!
- We have a permanent bath house with an ADA accessible bathroom and shower.

Do the sites have grills and picnic tables?
- Every RV site has a dining set and fire ring.
Do you have a swimming pool or a hot tub?
- No, but we are in very close proximity to the Palisades Reservoir, which is approximately 1 mile away!
Do you have cable?
- Unfortunately, we do not.
Do we need to make reservations in advance?
- Advanced reservations are highly recommended.
Where are you located?
- Alpine Valley RV resort is located just a 1/4 mile from the Palisades Reservoir, on the corner of Highway 89 and Highway 26 in downtown, Alpine, Wyoming.
How far are you from Grand Teton National Park?
- To Moose, where the GTNP headquarters are located, we are located approximately 49 miles, or a roughly an hour’s drive.
How far are you from Yellowstone National Park?
- To the South Entrance, we are approximately 92 miles, or a ~2 hour drive.
Do you allow drones?
- In the interest of the health, welfare and safety for our guests, employees, and property, Alpine Valley Resort strictly prohibits the unauthorized use of drones and all other remote-controlled aircraft on its property.
- This prohibition includes but is not limited to, Aircraft launched off-site that travels anywhere on or above Resort property.
- Written application may be made to the Resort Management requesting an exception to this prohibition.
Rules
Registrations and Arrival
Check-In Procedure
- Check-in is anytime after 2 pm.
- Due to the nature of the busy summer season, absolutely no check-ins before 2 pm; please reach out ahead and plan your trip accordingly.
- Check out is 11 am.
- $10 per half hour will be charged for late checkouts.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the onsite manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
Quiet Hours
- Quiet hours are 10 pm-7 am.
- Loud music is not permitted at any time.
Lighting Restrictions
- No bright outside lights are allowed between 10 pm and 7 am.
Campfires
- Campfires are allowed in provided fire pits with approved wood.
- Campfires must be attended to and under control at all times.
Structures
- No pop-up canopies, shelters, or tents are allowed.
Parking
- Vehicle parking is only permitted at your site and our parking lot.
- Vehicles parked on the road, grass, or other spaces will be subject to a fine.
Pet Policy
- Pet fences/pet kennels and pens are not allowed outside of the RV, no exceptions.
- Pets must be under control and on a leash at all times.
- Pets may not be left outside or unattended at any time.
- Guests may be asked to remove their pet from the property if it is causing any sort of disturbance.
- You must pick up after your pet.
- A $25+ fee will be charged for unremoved pet waste/food in the yard.
- We reserve the right to exclude pets from the RV resort if we deem the pet to be a “problem.”
- Aggressive or barking dogs will not be allowed to remain at the resort.
RV and Site
- No generators are allowed at any time (we have 20, 30, and 50amp electric hook ups at every site).
- No perimeter fencing, pet fencing, pet crates are allowed outside.
- Only one RV is permitted per site, regardless of size.
- No rugs or mats allowed on the grass and no covering of sprinkler heads.
- Larger outdoor recreational items, including but not limited to: kayaks, paddleboards, coolers, etc must be organized and neatly stored beneath the RV.
- Only customary outdoor patio/lawn furniture and accessories may be left outside.
- All vehicle repairs, maintenance (e.g, oil changes, lubes, etc) and washing at your site are prohibited.
Guest Conduct and Noise
- All guests should be courteous to other guests, ensuring noise levels are acceptable even during the day.
- RV owners shall be responsible for the conduct of their family members, guests, and/or visitors while at the RV resort.
- No motorcycles, diesel vehicles or other vehicles with louder than normal exhaust may be operated inside the RV resort during this time.
- Management’s decisions in all disputes are deemed final.
Waste and Sanitation
- Please place trash in plastic bags and dispose of garbage in the resort provided dumpsters or leave bagged garbage on the edge of the site during trash pick-up hours.
- Do not throw personal garbage in restrooms, laundry or other facility trashcans.
- Please do not flush anything in toilets other than toilet paper that is provided.
- Please keep your campsite area neat and organized.
Property Care and Prohibited Activities
- Please do not tamper with landscaping, electric, or plumbing systems.
- No soliciting, peddling, loitering, trespassing, or trading allowed in the park.
- No criminal or drug-related activity in or near the park will be tolerated.
- The guest is responsible for all damage or destruction of property, and any injury to persons, caused by guest or family, visitor or pets.
- The park reserves the right to charge guests accordingly for any damage they cause to grounds and/or resort facilities, including but not limited to broken waterlines, damaged/missing sewer connections, cable lines, landscaping, and excessive debris (bottle caps, zip ties, cigarette butts, etc.).
- Alpine RV resort retains the right to alter and modify any of the rules and regulations in keeping with fairness and best interest of all participants.
Safety, Enforcement, and Liability
- Violation of these rules and regulations that result in damage or destruction of Alpine valley RV resort property or threaten safety resort guests/staff will result in termination of stay.
- Management is not responsible for damage, injury, or loss to either person or property.
- The owner/management of Alpine valley RV resort absolve themselves from all liability and responsibility pertaining to loss by fire, theft, weather, acts of God, property damage, accident or any other cause whatsoever, and guest to save, protect, and hold harmless Alpine valley RV resort from all such liability.
Cancellation Policy
Campground Cancellation Policy
- $25 cancellation fee will be charged on all cancellations 8 days prior to check-in date.
- 7 days or less prior to check-in date: no refunds will be given for cancellations or no-shows.
- Monthly stays must cancel 30 days in advance to receive a refund.
- No refunds will be given for late arrivals or early departures.
- We understand things happen (Weather, break downs, pandemics) however, No exceptions will be made.
- We highly encourage guests to purchase third party trip insurance due to our very strict cancellation policy.
- All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking.

- Spot2Nite convenience fees and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
