Luxury RV Parks Found Around the
    Country

    Happy Camper Blog

    The options
available to today’s camping enthusiasts far exceed anything our parents or
grandparents had available to them. In fact, many of today’s privately owned
RV resorts offer luxurious amenities comparable to some of the finest
    hotels.

    Guests at Naples
Motorcoach Resort in Naples, Florida have access to a
large infinity pool, spa and sauna facilities, a home theatre with seating
for 11, plus a 12,000-square-foot grand clubhouse that features a ballroom
with a dance floor and a fitness center with men’s and women’s locker room
    facilities that include saunas.

    Meanwhile, growing numbers
of RV resorts now offer professional massage services, including Ocean
Mesa at El Capitan Canyon in Santa Barbara, California
    , The
Springs at Borrego RV Resort in Borrego Springs, California; and
    Normandy
Farms Family Camping Resort in Foxboro,
    Massachusettes
    .

“There are scores of RV resorts
that now offer amenities and services comparable to finest hotels,” said Paul
Bambei, president and CEO of the National Association of RV Parks &
Campgrounds. “Some RV resorts also offer high end rental accommodations, such
    as park
    model cottages
and other amenities not typically found at RV
    parks.”

Parks with high end rental accommodations include
    Newport
Dunes Waterfront Resort & Marina in Newport Beach,
    California
, which complements its park model cottage rentals with
an onsite bistro that offers lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch as well as a
waterpark with kayak, paddle board, sailboat and electric boat rentals.
Newport Dunes also has a mile of beachfront as well as venues for anniversaries,
weddings, business meetings and other special
    events.

Here’s a sampling of other high-end resorts across
the country that offer amenities and services not typically found in most
    campgrounds and RV parks:
