Askew’s has since become the most recommended campground and highest ranked RV park in Central Mississippi. Under New Ownership, Askew’s Landing RV Campground is experiencing a time of growth and dedication to providing family fun, adventure, and relaxation for RV and Tent Campers, as well as the local community through fun events, as well as fishing, kayaking, and swimming memberships. The park is located just off of the Natchez Trace Parkway as well as Interstate 20 and not far from the Vicksburg National Military Park.

Registration and Arrival
Check-In Procedure
- Check-in: 2 pm - 8 pm.
- Please arrive before 8 pm.
- For arrivals after 6 pm, please check the box at the office for your arrival info.
- Check-out: 11 am.
- We offer contactless checkout; no need to stop at the office.
- Late check-out may be available (depending on the next reservation) for $10/hr.
- You must get pre-approval at the office that morning.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
All Guests Staying at Askew’s Landing Must Abide By The Following Rules
RV Campers
- 6 people maximum per campsite.
- Rates include 2 adult campers.
- Extra tent on an RV site is $10 per night.
- Generators and tarps are not permitted.
- Only RVIA-certified RV's are allowed.
- We reserve the right to refuse or end reservations and/or eject guests for any reason, at any time, without a refund.
Parking
- You may have a maximum of 2 motor/electric vehicles parked at your site; parked vehicles must be fully off the road and within your site.
Visitors
- All visitors must check in at the office and pay visitor fees unless the card on file is to be charged.
- No visitors are allowed to stay overnight unless approved by the office and only for a maximum of 3 consecutive nights.
- All overnight visitors must pay the day pass fee.
Quiet Hours
- 10 pm - 7 am.
Pool Hours
- 9 am - 7 pm.
Speed Limit
- 10 MPH.
- Repeat offenders will be asked to leave the campground without a refund.
- You are responsible for your visitors.
Children & Safety
- For safety, children under age 18 should be supervised by an adult at all times.
- Children using the bathhouses, playground, dog park, nature areas, or lake must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Pet Policy
- No more than 3 pets allowed per campsite.
- Pets must be leashed and with a human at all times unless in the dog park dog pen.
- Aggressive or loud dogs will be asked to leave.
- Always clean up after your pet.
- Pets are prohibited in laundry or bathrooms.
Campfires/Fire Pits/Picnic Tables
- Do not move these items if present at your site.
- Firewood is available for purchase at the camp store.
- No cutting of plants/trees.
Trash
- Follow the golden rule of camping and leave your site cleaner than you found it.
- Place your trash in the receptacles provided throughout the park.
- The cans and dumpsters are for household trash only.
- Do not burn trash or leave trash in fire pits.
Restrooms & Laundry
- Leave the area clean & notify management if it is disorderly or requires maintenance.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- Dish, pet, and clothes washing in the restrooms is prohibited for sanitary reasons.
Clotheslines
- Permitted for the temporary drying of towels & swimwear only.
- Must be attached to the tent or camper.
- Do not attach to trees.
Vehicles & Golf Carts
- No speeding, reckless, or drunk driving.
- All vehicles must be registered and insured, be roadworthy, be driven on the roadways only, and by a licensed driver.
- Obey standard traffic rules (10 MPH).
- No ATVs/UTVs/Gas powered golf carts may be operated within the park.
- Electric golf carts are allowed if driven responsibly.
Wildlife & Wilderness
- Do not harm wildlife.
- Please be cautious of snakes & plants such as thorns or poison ivy.
- No trees, bushes, or plants are to be cut, removed, defaced, damaged, or injured in any way.
- Do not tie, nail, or screw anything to trees; hammock straps are acceptable.

- For all other emergencies (fire, medical, or other rescue need) please call 911.
Safety
- Please drink responsibly.
- Illegal drugs, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, and use of profane language will not be tolerated.
- Violation is grounds for your immediate ejection without refund and potential report to local authorities.
- This is a private park and your safety is important to us.
- Please notify the office if others will be visiting your site, and provide their names and vehicle information.
- The recreational use of firearms, BB guns, slingshots, and fireworks is prohibited within our campground.
Please Respect Others
- Do not enter or walk through the sites of others unless invited. Keep your possessions and vehicles on your own site.
- Do not crowd or encroach on other sites (whether vacant or occupied) or on the "green space" or breathing room between sites.
- Keep personal belongings concealed, especially when not present.
- We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- No smoking or profanity in common areas.
- No solicitation.
Park Disclaimer
- Policies, rates, and/or sites are subject to change at any time.
- We reserve the right to enter any site at any time.
- We are not responsible for damages, injury, or loss by accident, weather-related damage, theft, or fire to RV or property of any guest.
- We reserve the right to refuse service and to decline to allow a space to be occupied.
- The registered guest is the “responsible party” and is accountable for the actions of all family members and visitors.
- We reserve the right to eject any guest, without refund of rent or deposit.
- For: unpaid campsite fees, violation of any rules/policies, repeated speeding violations, verbal or physical threats/actions from any guest or visitor to another guest, visitor, employee, or management, or deliberate damage to or destruction of property belonging to Askew’s Landing, another guest, or visitor.
Cancellation Policy
MODERATE
If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
