The Resort was very nicely designed with it’s assortment of types of stay. The resort would be idea for a family gathering because not everyone would have an RV. It’s location on the water was great. We didn’t use any of the facilities so I can’t comment on those. We stayed in RV with the sites being very spa...Show more

Skillet Creek Campground

56 RV Sites, 8 Cabins, 56 Tent Sites, 1 Onsite RV/Trailer

In 2021, we bought a campground called Wheeler’s Campground and renamed it to Skillet Creek Campground. We, Chris & Lea Ann Gieck, had been seasonal campers at this campground for 9 years and bought this beautiful piece of property in April 2021. We decided to rename the campground to Skillet Creek Campground to pay homage to the history of the property. Prior to the name Wheeler’s Campground, the business used to be called Skillet Creek Camping Resort. The campground sits on 70 acres of beautiful wooded and green areas. Skillet Creek runs through the property, along with a fishing pond and wooded hiking trail. We have maintained this natural beauty and added some fun amenities and weekend activities for families. We’ve also added a 1 acre swimming pond which has proven to be a major hit along with rental cabins and additional full hook up sites.
