Our campground offers a variety of tent sites, cabin rentals, RV sites, and modern amenities for our guests. The campsites are spacious, well-maintained, with water and electric hookups available. Camelot has a convenient store, full hook-up sites, laundry facilities, swimming pool, splash park, outdoor grilling, fire pits, and even a dog park. Camping at Camelot Campground is affordable and fun. With so many different amenities, camping at Camelot is an excellent way to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Rules

Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure - Check-in time for RV and tent sites is 2:00 pm. - Check-in time for Cabins is 3:00 pm - Anyone arriving before the check-in time may be charged a $10 early check-in fee. - The base rate for all sites is for 2 adults ages 16 or older and 4 children age 15 and under ($6 per extra person). - Fees for extra person(s) do not apply from mid-September through mid-May. - Check-out time for all sites is 11:00 am Late Check-Out - The front desk may be able to arrange a late checkout, if available. - Additional fees may apply. - In order to ensure availability for incoming guests, please plan prompt departures. - A $10 fee is implemented per extra vehicle. - All visitors outside of the campground visiting a camper are subject to a $8 per person fee. - There are no refunds for early departure. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. General Rule - Tenants and guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their children, and/or their pets. - Tenant assumes any and all risks associated with the foregoing and agrees to hold the landlord harmless from and indemnify the landlord against the same. - The resort is not responsible for personal injuries or damage, loss, or theft of any personal property or vehicle. - We reserve the right to evict any person(s) who does not comply with the rules and policies. - All guests and visitors must register at the office upon arrival and pay any appropriate fee. - Camelot Campground does not allow the delivery of mail or packages to any guests. - Guests must make arrangements to have their mail or packages delivered to a third-party location for pickup. - All motorhomes, RVs, or travel trailers must be in good working order and appearance. - We reserve the right to refuse access to any guests whose vehicle is deemed to be unacceptable. - The total number of guests in any space cannot exceed the maximum capacity for that site. - Visitors are welcome at guest sites between the hours of 8 am & 10 pm, but they must first register at the office. - Visitors are not permitted to stay overnight. - All visitors are required to leave by 10:00 pm. - All visitors must pay an appropriate fee upon entering the park. - Visitors must park in designated parking areas. - Maintenance on RVs or vehicles on the property is not allowed. - Washing RVs or vehicles on the property is not allowed. - The use of any paint products or chemicals is prohibited. - Clotheslines are not allowed. - Guests may not hang any items from the trees. - All sites are to be kept neat and clean for the duration of your stay. - Only 1 RV and a maximum of 2 other vehicles are allowed per site unless stated otherwise. - All trash must be bagged and set at the roadside during the day between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm. - Campground personnel will pick up and remove throughout the day. - Do not leave trash out overnight. - Boats, boat trailers, cargo trailers, or car dollies are not allowed on sites. - Storage is available for a fee in our storage lot. - Camelot Campground is in a natural wildlife habitat area. - There are coyotes, birds of prey, and reptiles. - All guests should ensure that pets and small children are supervised at all times. Safety - Pool and splash pad hours are 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, weather permitting. - No glass containers are allowed at the pool, hot tub, or splash pad area. - No lifeguard on duty in pool or splash pad areas; use at your own risk. - The use of firearms of any kind is prohibited in the park. - The use of archery, paintball, slingshots, or air guns is prohibited. - Fireworks of any kind are prohibited. - Use of illegal drugs is prohibited. - Obnoxious behavior of any kind is prohibited. - The speed limit on the property is 5 mph. - Motorcycles must be at idle speed when traveling through the park. - Children under 16 years of age must always be accompanied by an adult in the pool area. - No vehicles can block any portion of the roadway. - Vehicles may park in designated spaces only. - Only persons with a valid driver’s license may operate a motor vehicle in the park, including golf carts, scooters, etc. - Vandalism of any kind by anyone in your group (regardless of age) may result in eviction from the resort. Security - Management is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles. - Keep your valuables locked up. - Report any problems with your site to the main office immediately. - We adhere to and maintain all state, county, and local laws on property. Quiet Hours - Quiet hours are from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. - Please be courteous to other guests around you. - Loud music or objectionable noise is not allowed at any time. - Inconsiderate guests will be evicted from the park. - Profanity or violence towards other guests or resort staff will result in immediate eviction from the park. - Guests violating rules that result in an eviction notice will not receive any refunds for their stay. Pet Policy - Campers are welcome to bring their pets, but the pets must be kept under control by their owners at all times. - We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose pet is not considered suitable for the serenity/safety of our guests or the resort. - Pets must be kept on a leash under the control of someone who can always manage all animals. - There is a three-pet limit in the park. - No exotic or oversized pets are permitted. - This includes all reptiles and large birds. - All pets must be registered at the front desk upon arrival. - Pets may not be left outside unattended. - Guests are responsible for “clean up” after their pets. - Guests should carry proof of their pet’s current vaccinations. - Pets are prohibited in park buildings and amenity areas. - Park is not responsible for and will hold accountable pet owner accountable for any injury or damage caused by the pet(s). - Service animals may accompany a disabled person without any proof of disability or certification for the service animal. - Pets that cause undue noise or frighten guests will not be allowed to stay in the park. - Official walking areas have disposal bags. Photo Release - Registered guests and all persons with that guest do hereby grant to Camelot Recreations Inc. permission to interview or use any likeness in photograph(s)/video in any and all of its publications and in any and all other media, whether now known or hereafter existing, controlled by Camelot Recreations, Inc., in perpetuity, and for other use by Camelot Recreations Inc. - The guest will make no monetary or other claim against Camelot Recreations Inc. for the use of the interview and/or the photograph(s)/video. - Use of Camelot Recreations Water Craft: - Guest agrees to be responsible for all persons in their party when using the Camelot water craft. - Guest or others in their party will check out boats through the Camelot staff at the Camelot front desk. - Guest and/or those with the guest agree to return all equipment in good condition after the allotted rental period. - Equipment includes life jackets, oars, and paddles. - If equipment is not properly returned in good condition and timely manner, Camelot Recreations Inc. may charge a minimum fee of $25. Emergency - If you have an emergency, please call 9-1-1 for the police, fire department, or ambulance. - After hours for minor campground emergencies, there is an after-hours number posted at the night registration desk located at the registration building. Trash And Waste Disposal - Campground picks up trash daily, April through October. - Trash must be placed at the roadside during daylight hours only; 8 am to 7 pm. - Large items, appliances, tires, or electronics may not be legally disposed of in dumpsters in the state of Illinois. - You must take items to a recycling center. - No trash pickup sites 77 through 121. - During winter months campground will make a noon pickup of trash (weather permitting). - Guests may place trash in the dumpster on North Lake Drive next to the maintenance building. - State law prohibits the dumping of gray water or wastewater on the ground. Pool And Hot Tub - Pool and hot tub hours are daily in season, weather permitting, from 10 am to 9 pm. Extended Stay Guest Guidelines - After staying at least one month, guests may, if needed, pay on a daily basis at a reduced rate. - This is higher than the monthly rate and lower than the standard rate. - It is only available to fill less than a month prior to departure. - Check with the office for details. Extended Stay Limits - Extended stays are allowed for up to 180 days. - If your stay will need to be longer, you must check with the front desk before additional time can be approved. Boating And Fishing - Only manually or electrically powered boats are allowed on the lakes. - No gasoline engines can be onboard. - Sport fishing only; no nets, trot lines, or jug fishing. - Fishing in the lakes will be in accordance with applicable state regulations. - Bass under 14” may not be taken. Speed And Vehicles - Speed limit within the park is 5 ½ M.P.H. to ensure the safety of children and other guests. - Golf cars, motorbikes, mini-bikes, mopeds, or similar vehicles must be electric drive only. - These vehicles may be used for transportation on the campground roads, but must comply with the campground speed limits. - Proof of insurance must be provided to the campground. - An identification sticker must be purchased. - All vehicles driven at night must have functional lights. - Golf cars, motorbikes, mini-bikes, mopeds, or similar vehicles may not be driven between the hours of 11 pm to 6 am. Children And Supervision - Parents are responsible for the actions of their children. Water Usage And Washing - Washing of vehicles, trailers, or boats is not permitted without payment of a small fee. - Use of water is not permitted for watering grass, gardens, washing RVs, or vehicles. - Violators will be charged $50. Visitors And Quiet Hours - Visitors are welcome, but must register and pay any admission fees at the campground office upon entering the campground. Campers will observe quiet hours from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. - Complaints of neighbors will determine compliance. Weapons And Safety - No firearms, BB guns, or air guns may be discharged within the campground. Site Maintenance - Alteration of sites is not permitted without the approval of campground management. - Electrical cords may not be buried. - Camp personnel will mow and trim without moving personal items, 90%. - Camper may mow or trim the remaining 10% if desired at the camper’s expense. - Campground is not responsible for damage to items on or near the ground, such as sewer hoses, water hoses, cable lines, or dog leashes. - Camper may elect to mow and trim their lot. - Wednesday and Thursday are normal mowing days. - Campfires And Fire Rings - The campground provides a picnic table but no fire ring. - Fire rings are not for trash. - Any ring used for trash will be removed. - Camelot Campground is located within the city limits, and all fires are restricted to the burning of USDA-approved firewood. - All other wood or trash cannot be burned on this property. - USDA-approved firewood can be purchased at the park office or other local retail outlets. Parking - No parking on roads, one vehicle parked at the site. - Additional vehicles are subject to additional fees. - Overflow parking is available at the pool parking lot at no charge. Construction And Storage - No permanent construction is permitted on campground sites. - Storage sheds are not allowed. - The large wooden decks on sites cannot be moved. - Trailer skirting is allowed only during the winter months, November through March, and must be removed no later than April 15th. - All storage items, such as excess LP tanks or other items, must be stored under or in the back of the camper. Wi-Fi And Utilities - Wi-Fi codes are available in the office during business hours. - Codes may be purchased on a daily, monthly, or seasonal basis. - Camper will pay a monthly utility fee to cover electric, water, sewer, and dust control. - Rate set by campground charge based on kilowatt-hours of electricity used. Security Deposit And Departure - Each extended stay guest is required to provide a $150 security deposit to be held until the end of the stay. - This deposit will be used to settle the final utility bill and to ensure the site is returned in a clean condition. - If the park must clean the site of debris and trash, the minimum fee is $50. - Guest is also required to provide a minimum of 30 days' notice prior to departure, or the entire deposit will be forfeited. Cancellation Policy

MODERATE If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
