Cedar Ridge RV Park & Storage

11 RV Sites
Cedar Ridge RV Park and Storage sits in the Missouri Ozarks near Bakersfield in Ozark County, a working RV park and self-storage facility on State Highway O in the hill country just north of the Arkansas border where the White River drains southward through some of the most productive freshwater fishing terrain in the Mid-South. The park serves both traveling campers and the region's outdoor recreation visitor base—anglers, hunters, and paddlers who come to Ozark County for its rivers, lakes, and the relative solitude of one of the most rural corners of Missouri.
The campground offers 27 full-service hookup sites with water, electric, and sewer on 30-by-60-foot pads, with a mix of pull-through and back-in positions to accommodate different rig configurations. A communal pavilion serves group gatherings, and walking trails cross the property's wooded terrain. A brand-new laundry facility opened in June 2025 with eight washers and twelve dryers available to guests and the public at affordable prices—a practical amenity in an area where the nearest town of Bakersfield is small and service options are limited. The property also offers enclosed self-storage units and RV and boat storage for guests who need to leave equipment between visits.
Ozark County's landscape is defined by limestone plateau topography—cedar glades, oak-hickory forest, and the cold spring-fed streams that cut through the plateau to feed the White River system. The terrain here is genuinely unpopulated by Missouri standards, with the Mark Twain National Forest and the vast roadless country of the Ozark Highlands providing a sense of space and quiet that draws travelers specifically seeking distance from suburban landscapes. The current of the Eleven Point River, a designated National Scenic River, is accessible within a reasonable drive and is one of the finest float-fishing streams in the Midwest.
Norfork Lake, formed by the Norfolk Dam on the North Fork White River just south of the Missouri line in Arkansas, is a few minutes from the campground and serves as the primary recreation anchor for the region. The lake's 550 miles of shoreline support bass, walleye, crappie, and the rainbow and brown trout that thrive in the cold tailwaters below the dam—a fishery that draws dedicated anglers from a wide radius. Bull Shoals Lake, another Corps of Engineers reservoir downstream on the White River, extends the region's fishing options and provides boat ramps, marinas, and additional camping infrastructure.
Cedar Ridge RV Park operates year-round in an Ozark climate where spring and fall bring the most comfortable conditions for outdoor recreation and fishing season reaches its peak in April through June and again in September and October. The park's location on the fringe of Missouri's Ozark hill country provides access to river floating, lake fishing, and national forest trails that distinguish it from highway-corridor RV parks, and the new laundry facility makes it genuinely practical for extended stays by anglers and outdoor recreation visitors working through the multiple-day access the region's fishing terrain demands.
