Registration and Arrival
Check-In Procedure
- Check-In: 3 PM - 8 PM
- Check-Out: 2 PM
- Early Check-in Fee of $10.00 is required per hookup or per site, whichever is greater, based on availability.
- Please call our office if you need to arrive prior to 3 PM to ensure your site is open and a staff member is here for your arrival.
- All guests and visitors must stop at the office prior to setting up camp.
- No refunds for early departure.
- Later check-in is available upon request.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.

Quiet Time
- Strictly enforced.
- 10 PM all music, outdoor TVs & the like are to be turned off.
- All children back to their site unless accompanied by an adult.
- 10 PM-12 AM is considered “mellow” time.
- No excessive noise will be tolerated.
- 12 AM-8 AM, you are expected to be quiet! Voices, laughter & all noise must be kept at a respectable low volume to not disturb any neighboring sites.
- We have the right to not tolerate inconsiderate guests, excessive profanity, issues resulting from high intoxication, or violence towards other guests or park staff.
- Such behaviors may result in immediate removal from the park without a refund.
Reservation Requirements
- 3-night minimum required during holiday weekends.
- 2-night minimum for Lodging Reservations (Cabins & Rental Campers)
- 2-night minimum for Halloween Weekends
Pet Policy
- We are a pet-friendly park & welcome all breeds.
- Pets must be kept on a leash & handled by someone who can physically control the pet.
- Pets must be cleaned up after and may not disturb other guests.
- Signs of aggression will not be tolerated and will result in you being asked to leave the park without a refund.
- Pets are not to be left unattended outside for any reason.
- Pets may be placed on a cable at your site only; the cable must be short enough to ensure the pet cannot reach the road or adjacent sites.
- No pet is allowed in the pool area or any service building.
- Should your pet damage or cause injury, you accept full responsibility and any associated costs resulting from the incident.
- No Livestock or Exotic pets are permitted.
Guest Policy
- Guests are free to visit, but must exit the park by 9 pm.
- Should a guest choose to camp, they must register to camp prior to 8 pm.
- Double camp fees apply to guests who are found to be unregistered past 9 PM.
- Guests are not allowed in the pool area.
- Pool is for registered campers only.
Vehicles
- Speed limit is 5mph.
- All vehicles require a parking pass between the hours of 10 PM-8 AM
- Vehicles found with no parking pass risk being towed at the owner’s expense.
- Park vehicles on your site or in the designated overflow parking area.
- Do not block roadways or walking paths in any way.
- You are not permitted to park on any adjacent sites.
Campfires
- Outside firewood is not permitted.
- Firewood may be purchased at $25/wheelbarrow + tax, delivered to your site OR $7.50/bundle + tax, take & carry.
- Fires are allowed in the designated areas only.
- Do not move firepits!
- Do not break, cut, trim, or alter trees or bushes on the property.
Personal Golf Carts
- Proof of insurance is required upon arrival.
- Cart itself must be in good working condition with working brakes & lights.
- Carts are to stay parked during quiet time hours. 12 AM-8 AM
- Carts may only be driven by a sober driver who is 21 years or older.
Rental Golf Carts
- Must be 25 years or older with a Valid Driver's License and a major credit card to Rent
- Must be 21 years or older with a Valid Driver's License to operate the cart as a Driver
- A Rental Contract must be signed at Check-in
- Carts are to stay parked during quiet time hours. 12 AM-8 AM
- Max of 4 people at a time per cart
- Must abide by all operating rules listed on the cart & contract
- ATV, Side by Sides & all other terrain style vehicles are not permitted within the park.
- Basic golf carts only.
Pool Rules
- Pool is for registered campers only.
- Children 12yrs & under must have adult supervision at all times. –
- Pool is open daily 10a-10p with adult swim (18yrs+) from 9p-10p.
- No Lifeguard on duty.
- Alcohol, glass, food, loud music, rough play, running, diving, smoking & pets are not permitted inside the pool area.
- Squirt guns & small pool floats are allowed at a minimum, please respect others.
- Any person not fully potty trained is required to wear a swim diaper.
- Pool depth ranges from 3’-9’.
- Anyone not following the pool rules is subject to losing their pool privileges.
Arcade Rules
- Open weekends 10a-10p. (If camping M-Th & would like the arcade open, just ask.)
- All children 12 years & under must have adult supervision within the arcade.
- Adults will be held 100% responsible for any damages their child makes within the game room.
- To protect our equipment: no food, drink, sand, water, or modes of transportation are permitted inside the game room.
- Anyone not following the arcade rules is subject to losing their arcade privileges.
Sport Courts / Playground
- Open @ 8AM & close at dusk.
Bikes, Scooters, Or The Like
- All non-motorized modes of transportation must be back at your site by dusk & are not allowed in any building or pool area.
Dump Station
- Located near the office & is free to registered campers.
- Your tank should be empty upon arrival.
- Should you need to dump prior to the stay, additional fees will apply based on the set dump rate.
River Trips
- Start daily @10AM, earlier times are available by reservation 24hrs in advance.
- Last trip out is 4 hours prior to dark.
- No glass or Styrofoam allowed on the river; coolers are subject to inspection.
- Please bring a trash bag to prevent littering the river.
- Reservations are not required but are recommended on the weekends and for groups above 14.
- Your reservation time is not the time you are placed on the river.
- River trips are on a first-come, first-served basis.
- That means, the first group here, 100% ready and paid, will be the first to be taken to the water.
- When making a reservation, this is to reserve equipment to ensure it’s available upon your arrival.
- If you do not arrive and pay prior to your reserved time slot, your items will be released for others to rent.
- Equipment items returned with damage beyond repair will result in additional fees.
- Please be aware of the strong current in the river; life vests are encouraged for your safety.
- River trips run during peak season only (Memorial-Labor Day).
Restrooms & Showers
- Open 24/7 with the exception of temporary closings for cleanings.
- We ask that you please assist us in keeping the restrooms clean by toweling off if you’re coming from the pool or river prior to entering.
- Children under 12 years must be supervised while using the facilities.
- No pets, sand, or water toys are allowed inside the buildings.
Laundry Room
- Open 24/7.
- Machines are coin-operated. (Change machine located in the Arcade building.)
- We ask that you not leave your laundry unattended.
- Chinook Campground is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Trash Disposal
- Dumpsters are located by the main entrance & are to be used for daily camping-related items only.
- Trash must be placed fully inside the receptacle; please do not leave trash at your site or outside the dumpsters.
- Items such as furniture, tires, mattresses, toxic chemicals, etc., are not permitted for disposal.
Site & Park Etiquette
- Tents & Ground Clothes must be moved every 3rd day. No Exceptions.
- Please be respectful of your neighbors and do not walk through or between sites.
- Please use main roads or designated walking paths only when navigating through the park.
- All single sites have one picnic table & one fire ring.
- Group sites have 2-3 picnic tables pending their size and most have a larger fire ring to gather around.
- The majority of our sites are all grass lots, with several being in full sun. We do allow pop-up canopies or similar shade sources.
- Sites are to be kept free of non-camping-related items.
Long-term Stay: (28 Nights Or More)
- Camp must remain looking clean and presentable throughout the entirety of your stay. It should look like you are camping & not residing.
- Please limit storing items outside, around & under your trailer.
- No recliners, couches, or the like.
- Tents and ground clothes MUST be moved every 3rd day. No exceptions.
- Honey wagon services are available for purchase.
- Tanks & Valves must be accessible at the time of service.
- If the Cabinet is locked or tanks/valves are not accessible at the time of service, the scheduled pump will be forfeited.
- No refund or rescheduling permitted.
Electrical Use
- Please notify the office of any electrical issues during your stay so we can notify maintenance.
- Guests are not permitted to diagnose, alter, or work on our pedestals per insurance & safety guidelines.
- Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you unless hired to do so.
Power Outage
- You are responsible for loss of food or other damage incurred due to a power loss of any kind, such as but not limited to, loss of power to the campground, electrical surge, voltage drop, accidental unplugging, etc.
- Chinook Campground is not liable for any electrical issues with your trailer.
Fireworks & Firearms
- The prohibition of fireworks includes aerials, M80s, or the like.
- We do allow sparklers over the Fourth of July only.
- These may be done on your site and under adult supervision only.
- We do hold a large fireworks display on the fourth.
- If you’d like to donate aerials to the show, you may bring them to the office upon arrival.
- The prohibition of firearms includes all guns, as well as airsoft, BB, and pellet guns.
- If these items are seen outside of your RV, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.
Cancellation Policy
MODERATE
If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
