Golden Pines RV Resort & Campground is a quiet, family-friendly campground located at 5000' in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Here, among the towering trees of the Stanislaus National Forest, our park has become a favorite destination for travelers throughout the United States and Europe. Some go out exploring, while others are content to stay and enjoy the peace of the forest in this secluded park. It's up to you!

Registrations and Arrival
Check-In Procedure
- Check-in time is 1 pm.
- Check-out time is 11 am.
- Do not arrive to the campground prior to 1 PM, as your site will not yet be ready.
- Check-out occurs when you depart the park property, not just your site.
- An additional fee will be automatically charged for all late check-outs and early check-ins.
- Use of any park amenities after 11 am will incur a late departure fee.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the onsite manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
RV Site/RV Requirements
- Rig length is considered the measured full length of the RV, including the over-hitch portion for fifth wheels.
- This is often not represented by the model number, so please ensure to enter your RV's true length for each site in your reservation.
- The park has extremely variable site sizes and cannot be held responsible if your RV does not fit in your assigned site or if issues arise due to inaccurate reporting of rig length.
- Only one RV is allowed per RV site.
- Tents are not allowed on RV or cabin sites.
- Two tents are allowed on each tent site.
- No trailers of any kind are allowed in the tent area.
- The roads are narrow and turns are extremely tight.
Occupancy
- All sites have a maximum of six people.
- Cabin occupancy varies based on bed capacity.
- No extra people are allowed on any sites.
Vehicles and Parking
- Each site is allowed two vehicles, with the RV counting as one vehicle.
- Space on site is extremely limited, and extra vehicles on RV sites are subject to space availability and additional fees.
- These fees also apply to day visitors.
- The park must be informed of any extra vehicles prior to arrival.
- Only one extra vehicle is permitted for each RV site.
- No extra vehicles are permitted on cabin or tent sites.
Electric Vehicles
- Electric vehicles cannot be plugged in at RV sites.
- All EV charging must be done at the campground’s designated EV charging station, and will be charged a rate of $0.50 per kWh.
Trailered Vehicles
- If bringing trailered boats, OHVs, Jeeps, or other vehicles, the campground must be informed by email or phone when making a reservation.
- There is an associated parking fee for trailered vehicles.
- There is no space for extra trailer vehicles at campsites, and the park cannot guarantee there will be on-site parking.
- If bringing a trailer vehicle, it is recommended to reserve another RV site to accommodate its length.
Vehicle Restrictions
- Unlicensed vehicles, including but not limited to ATVs, OHVs, 4-wheelers, and dirt bikes, cannot be driven on park property.
- Only road-legal vehicles may be driven in the park.
Pets Policy
- Pets are welcome on park roads and in campsites.
- They must be on a leash and under control at all times.
- Owners must pick up after their pets.
- Pets are not permitted in the bathrooms, clubhouse, or pool.
- Pets must never be left unattended at sites or in cabins, including on a tether.
- Aggressive or reactive pets are not permitted and may be asked to be removed from the campground.
Be Bear Aware
- Garbage must be placed in park garbage cans by 8 pm in the summer and 6 pm during all other seasons.
- After evening trash pick-up, do not place trash in bins until the next morning.
- Dumpsters located at the front of the campground can be used at any time.
- All food, storage containers, and trash bags must be stored inside a vehicle when not in use.
- Everything must be stored inside a vehicle overnight.
Campfires
- All campfires, including those in propane fire rings and charcoal grills, must be out by 10 pm.
- Fires are allowed in fire pits and barbecue grills only.
- All wood must be contained within the fire ring.
- Keep flame height to two feet or less, and do not burn logs that overhang the side of the pit.
- Fires must be attended to at all times and will be extinguished if left unattended.
- Do not remove ash or firewood from fire pits.
- Moving hot wood, embers, or ash is an extreme fire hazard and may result in a minimum fine of $500.
Pool Policy
- No lifeguard is on duty at the pool.
- Persons under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or older in the pool area.
- No pets or glass are allowed in the pool area.
Safety
- The speed limit within the park is 5 mph.
- Anyone under the age of 18 must wear a helmet when riding a bicycle, scooter, skateboard, in-line, or roller skates in the park.
- For safety, do not ride these vehicles after dark, around the clubhouse, or in the pool area.
- Excessive speed and unsafe behavior are not permitted.
- Bears, raccoons, coyotes, and mountain lions live in the area.
- Do not feed or approach any wild animal.
- No guns, bows and arrows, blowguns, boomerangs, dart guns, or any projectile devices are allowed to be used or fired in the park or surrounding forests.
Camper Etiquette
- Music and generators must be turned off by 8 pm.
- Excessive music or noise at any hour is prohibited.
- Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am and are strictly enforced.
- During quiet hours, you should not be heard outside your campsite.
- Vandalism, ill-mannered conduct, and intoxicated or threatening behavior will not be tolerated.
- Violators will be asked to leave the campground.
- Do not cut through other campsites.
- All vehicles and belongings must fit and remain on your site only.
- Do not encroach upon other sites or common campground space.
- Use of extra space will result in site use fees.
- Water balloons are not allowed in the park as they can choke small animals.
Removal And Enforcement
- A recreational vehicle may be removed from the premises without a judicial hearing if the occupant has been in the park for 30 days or less for any of the following reasons:
- Failed to pay for occupancy in the park.
- Failed to comply with the park’s rules and regulations pursuant to California Civil Code Sections 799.20 et seq.
- Failure to vacate on the specified date pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1866.
- Violation of park rules may be grounds for expulsion.
- All sales are final, and no refunds will be given.
- The park reserves the right to charge guests for damage caused by deliberate, negligent, or reckless acts, or for undisclosed use of campground facilities, including extra vehicles, people, and sites.
- If such damage or use is discovered after departure, the park reserves the right to charge the guest’s credit card or send an invoice to the registered address.
Cancellation Policy
MODERATE
If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
