Rules

Registrations and Arrival Check-In Procedure - Check-In for RVs and Tents is 1 PM. - Check-In for Cabins and Deluxe Cabins is 4 PM. - Check-out time for all Lodging is 11 am. - After-hours arrivals must arrange with the office in advance. - Please no check-ins after 10 PM. - If you need to arrive after hours, inform our front desk before closing time to make arrangements. - Late check-out is for RV sites only from 12 PM to 3 PM; there is an additional charge if your site is available. - After 3 PM, another day will be charged. - No late check-out in cabins or tents. - No late check-out in peak seasons. - Prompt departures allow us to get each site clean and ready for the next guest. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Quiet Hours - Quiet hours are from 11:00 pm – 8:00 am. - Guests must be at their site or cabin by 11:00 pm. - Please be courteous to your neighbors during these hours. Wristbands - All guests must wear the park-provided wristband to show they are registered. - Wristbands are required for access to amenities and attractions. - Guests without wristbands may be asked to leave, since staff cannot confirm they are registered. - Visitors must also wear a park-provided wristband while on-site. Children & Supervision - Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. - Parents are responsible for the conduct and behavior of their children. - Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all water attractions. - Children 16 and under must be supervised by an adult in the pool and splash park. - Helmets are required for children biking or scootering around the campground. - Any biking after dark must have a headlight, taillights, and reflectors. Pool & Splash Park - Swim at your own risk — no lifeguard on duty. - Pool hours: 10:00 am to dusk. - Please observe the posted pool and splash park rules. - Children must be supervised at all times. - No horseplay, jumping, diving, or running. - No climbing up slides. - Proper swimwear only — no cutoffs or T-shirts. - No glass containers allowed. - Management may adjust or enforce additional pool rules. Sites & Parking - Keep your site clean and orderly at all times. - One RV or tent is permitted per site, with a maximum of 8 guests. - One camper unit, 2 vehicles per site, no tents on RV sites, and 1 vehicle per cabin. - Park only in assigned spaces or designated parking areas. - Vehicles parked in unassigned spaces may be towed or charged. - Please display your car pass at all times. - Washing vehicles is permitted for a fee — check with the office. - No vehicle repairs or working on vehicles in the campground. Guests & Visitors - Guests of campers are welcome but must register at the office and pay the guest fee. - Visitors must register at the office and pay a day-use fee. - Visitors are expected to follow campground rules and depart by 10:00 pm. - Fees may apply based on arrival time and activities joined. Pets & Service Animals - Pets are welcome at campsites and in pet-friendly lodging. - Limit two pets per reservation unless otherwise approved. - $25 non-refundable fee applies for pets in cabins or lodging. - Pets must be leashed (6 ft. max), attended, and not left outside unattended. - Kennels and pens are prohibited. - Pets are not allowed in park-owned buildings, pools, food areas, laundry, playgrounds, or pavilions. - Guests must clean up after their pets and dispose of waste properly. - Aggressive or disruptive pets may be removed at management’s discretion. - Pets must be up to date on vaccinations, and records must be available upon request. - Service animals are permitted throughout the park and must remain under control. Speed Limit & Driving - The speed limit is 9.5 mph throughout the campground. - Stay on roads and in designated parking areas. - Please drive carefully and do not cut through sites. - Watch for children and pedestrians. Golf Carts - Drivers must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license. - Golf carts must remain on resort property roads. - Do not drive golf carts on the grass. - A signed liability waiver is required for rentals. - Misuse of carts may result in rental termination without refund. Wibit - All Wibit participants are required to sign the Wibit Liability Waiver. Guest Flag Display Policy - At Great Escapes North Texas, we are committed to fostering a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests. - To maintain a consistent and family-friendly environment, we ask that guests limit flag displays at campsites to the following. Flags Permitted at Campsites - The American flag (displayed in accordance with U.S. Flag Code) - State and local flags - Military and first responder flags (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, POW/MIA, police, fire, EMS) - Great Escapes RV Resorts-branded flags - To ensure a positive experience for all, we kindly ask guests to refrain from displaying flags outside of these categories. Special Event Considerations - Great Escapes RV Resorts may permit additional flag displays during themed celebrations or special events. - Any temporary exceptions will be communicated in advance by resort management. Policy Enforcement - If a flag outside the approved categories is displayed, resort staff will provide a courteous reminder of this policy. - Guests may be asked to remove non-compliant flags to maintain our shared community standards. - We appreciate your cooperation in helping us create an inclusive and enjoyable camping experience for all. Campfires - Campfires are allowed only in designated fire pits or rings. - Bonfires or oversized flames are not permitted. - Fire bans may apply during dry conditions. - Firewood must be purchased at the office — no outside wood allowed. - Fire starters and color flame packs are available at the office. Garbage & Cleanliness - Please use designated dumpsters for trash disposal. - Staff will pick up trash by 11 am during open hours. - Do not leave trash or food outside overnight due to wildlife. - Gray and black water must be emptied at site hookups or dump stations. - Ground disposal of grey water is illegal. - Hoses must be properly fitted to prevent leaks. - Generators are not allowed. Alcohol & Smoking - Alcohol must be consumed responsibly. - Public intoxication will not be tolerated. - Adults over 21 may enjoy alcoholic beverages at their site. - Use non-descript containers if walking around the park. - No glass containers in aquatic areas. - Smoking is prohibited in all buildings, cabins, playgrounds, and pool areas. Bicycles & Motorized Vehicles - Bicycles are permitted during daylight hours only. - Helmets are required for children. - Motorized scooters, four-wheelers, drones, and motorcycles are not allowed for pleasure riding. Safety & Emergencies - In emergencies or severe weather, seek shelter in a bathhouse or office. - Download the CampersAPP for alerts. - Carry a flashlight at night for safety. Fishing & Flags - Fishing is permitted in the private lake without a license. - Please stay on resort property while fishing. - Allowed flags include U.S., state, local, military, first responder, POW/MIA, and Great Escapes flags. - Other flags are not permitted unless during special events approved by management. General Rules - Clotheslines are not permitted. - Clothes may not be hung outside RVs or on trees. - Laundry, showers, and restrooms are located in Clubhouse 1. - Do not move or remove rocks. - Fireworks, firearms, drones, metal detectors, and personal golf carts are not allowed. - 50-AMP rigs must use 50-AMP sites. Disclaimer - Management reserves the right to ask anyone to leave without a refund for breaking policies. - Camping involves inherent risks; guests assume responsibility for injuries or damages. - The property is privately owned. Payment - Rental requires Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. - No Cash. - You can secure your reservation with a 50% deposit today, with the remaining balance due 30 days before your stay

Cancellation Policy

MODERATE If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
