Jellystone Park™ Cranberry Acres

Carver, Massachusetts

118 RV Sites, 70 Cabins, 47 Cottages

In Carver, Massachusetts—in Plymouth County's cranberry bog country on the South Shore where the working cranberry harvest, Plymouth Rock's Pilgrim history, Cape Cod's shoulder-season beaches, and the Great South Pond's natural swimming create the compressed historical and recreational landscape that makes southeastern Massachusetts the most historically dense camping region in New England—Jellystone Park Cranberry Acres provides full hookup RV sites alongside more than 153 furnished cabins with private bathrooms, bedrooms, full kitchens, and climate control, a 21,000-square-foot water park featuring two 165-foot waterslides, a splash pad, a 750-gallon hydrostorm dump bucket, and a multi-level activity pool, plus a pizza kitchen, a camp store, gem mining, laser tag, an 18-hole mini golf course, jumping pillows, gaga ball, sports courts, a dog park, swimming in Ben's Pond, and the Yogi Bear character visits and themed weekends that the Jellystone network's organized programming delivers. A 21,000-square-foot water park. A hundred and fifty-three cabins. Plymouth is fifteen minutes away. The combination of full hookup RV sites and 153-plus furnished cabins with private baths, full kitchens, bedrooms, air conditioning, and heat creates the accommodation range that makes Cranberry Acres the destination for the family whose camping equipment ranges from a 45-foot Class A to zero—the cabin's fully outfitted kitchen, private bath, and climate control eliminate every friction point of the first-time camping family's gear acquisition and setup anxiety. The 21,000-square-foot water park—opened in summer 2023 with two 165-foot waterslides, a multi-level splash structure, the 750-gallon hydrostorm dump bucket, and an activity pool—creates the on-property water park experience that the South Shore family has been driving to New Hampshire to find. Gem mining, laser tag, mini golf, gaga ball, jumping pillows, sports courts, and the pizza kitchen create the day's activity buffet that keeps the schedule full between the water park and the Ben's Pond swim. Carver sits in Plymouth County's South Shore interior, in the cranberry bog landscape where Carver, Middleborough, and Wareham produce more cranberries per acre than any county in Massachusetts—the harvest season from September through November, when the bogs flood red with the floating fruit, creates one of the most photographed agricultural spectacles in New England. The Ocean Spray cooperative's agricultural heritage and the Edaville Family Theme Park's cranberry-railroad history create the local cultural context for the bog country that the campground's name reflects. Plymouth, 15 minutes east, provides Plymouth Rock's 1620 Pilgrim landing site, the Plimoth Patuxent living history museum's recreated 17th-century English village and Wampanoag homesite, and the Mayflower II's full-scale reproduction at the State Pier—the most complete Pilgrim heritage site in the United States creates the historical day trip that the South Shore's school-age camper population makes the standard Plymouth County excursion. Cape Cod, 30 minutes south via US-6, provides the National Seashore's 40-mile ocean beach, the Provincetown arts colony, and the Cape Cod Canal's recreation trail for the day's extension beyond Plymouth. Jellystone Park Cranberry Acres operates seasonally through the South Shore summer, with the Memorial Day through Labor Day window covering the primary water park and beach season and the October cranberry harvest extending the fall activity into the most visually distinctive agricultural period in Plymouth County. Reserve your site or cabin at Cranberry Acres and let the 21,000-square-foot water park, the 153 cabins, and Plymouth's fifteen-minute Pilgrim history deliver the southeastern Massachusetts family resort that the Jellystone network's South Shore address provides at its fullest.
