- Our Climb & Rappel combo includes **3 unique climbs** and **3 totally different rappels**, lasting approximately 6 hours with a lunch break (on your own) between climbing and rappelling. 
-  Start the morning at High Rock with Climbing on our amazing rocks. Several of our climbs accommodate multiple skill levels with beginner and intermediate routes 
- You will experience 3 different awesome rappels: **flat wall, canyon,** and rock island rappel ****, ranging from *35 ft to 75+ ft.*
- All equipment, guides, and instruction are provided, no experience necessary.  Childs rate is valid for children ages 6  to 15.  

## What's Included
- **Climbing:** Climbing for beginner and intermediate skill levels – on average 3 climbs or climb attempts of 35 to 70+ feet, depending on group’s abilities.
- **Rappels:** Includes a minimum of 3 rappels of 35 to 75+ feet.
- **All Equipment Provided:** harness, helmet, rappelling devices, climbing shoes (top-anchored ropes and beautiful scenery also provided). You may wear your own climbing shoes and helmet if approved by our guide. Due to insurance guidelines, you will be required to use our harnesses, ropes and gear.

**This is a seasonal tour April through October or early November!  If you have a group of 5 or more people, or you wish to pay for the price of a minimum of 5 it can be  scheduled as a private or customized tour, weather permitting**

- Be immersed in the beautiful fern-covered mature forest, surrounded by amazing rock formations, while learning about area **the geology, history, and the many unique plants and majestic trees.** This tour is totally *unique* to the Hocking Hills as it is led on pristine private land. 

- Experience two of our easier rock challenges (soft adventure) if you choose, as you enjoy viewing our rock features including **rock halls, squeezes, and rock tunnels** (these are optional but a lot of fun and most everyone can participate.) If you want a combination of learning about nature and enjoying the fun of a few of its unique rock features this is the tour for you.

- This tour may take up to 3 hours with larger groups. 
- This Ecotour operates Mid- April through Mid-October when a majority of the plants are out.

- Hocking Hills Canopy Tours require children to be a minimum of age 10 for the ziplines and weigh at least 70 pounds. Maximum weight for adults is 250 pounds for the zipline portion. Those under 10 may qualify for their child's course, The Dragonfly. Childs rate discount of $65 on the Zipline portion of tour for tours Monday through Thursday, ages 10-15, childs discount requires one paying adult for each childs discount.  Maximum 3 child rates per reservation with 3 paying adults. The rappelling or climbing portion offers a childs discount every day of $79 with at least one adult.

Ziplining and Rappelling or Climbing Combo Tour

#A first for Ohio and the Midwest, a Night Flight Rappel down towering cliffs under the cover of darkness! 




- Climbs will be from 55-70 feet, baed on your climbing experience. 

- This will add about an hour to your tour experience and will typically be done at the end of your tour. 

- Larger groups will take longer and a couple may finish in 30-45 minutes.

- Guests will arrive and hike up at sunset, then embark on **two different types of rappels: our canyon and a large overhang rappel**, ranging from *65 ft to nearly 100 ft.* 
- This adventure will include a night hike that will be over a mile long including up and down hills and between colossal rock formations.

- Enjoy the night sounds of Hocking Hills forest as it comes alive with Tree Frogs singing, a chorus of Katydids (also known as bush crickets), distant coyote howls, occasional owls calling, and more. This hike requires that guests be fully mobile and comfortable hiking by flashlight across uneven terrain.

- All equipment, guides, and instruction are provided, no experience necessary. Available April - October, based on weather conditions. Childs rate is valid for children ages 6  to 15.

- Enjoy this incredible climbing adventure on Ohio's natural standstone rock! We average **3 climbs per tour**, some with multiple routes to truly test your limits. Heights range from **35 to 70+ feet**, depending on your party's abilities. 
- Multiple attempts and multiple routes are permitted.  Faster climbers may be able to complete 4+ climbs on this tour utilizing different routes on the 3 set climbs.. 
- Our guides will instruct and encourage you every step of the way, you can do it! Once you reach the top anchor or gone as far as you can, your guide will lower you back to the ground. 


### Please note
- Rock Climbing tours are our most physically challenging tours.  You should be able pull up your own body weight vertically, and do it multiple times. If you cannot do this, we suggest Rappelling or our High Rock Challenge Tour. The High Rock Challenge does require smaller climbs, but there are many other obstacles and activities on this tour and its a bit easier than climbing overall but still an awesome challenge that most can do.
- For reservations within 24 hours, please call our office we can often get you on the rocks even the same day! We do highly recommend advance reservations to ensure you get the times you want and have space available.

- Experience the challenges of incredible rock features including **rock halls, squeezes, tunnels, narrows, ascents, descents,** and **scrambles without harnessed climbing or rappelling**. 
- This tour is perfect for those that want to experience some smaller bouldering style climbs with a stationary rope along with many other challenges.  **At least 10 different challenges are included.** 
- Our High Rock Challenge is available year round based on weather conditions. 
- The High Rock Challenge requires 24-hour advance booking online and a minimum of 2 guests. For tours within 24 hours of departure time, give us a call for availability. We can often get you on this awesome tour the same day, but highly recommend advance reservations to ensure the time and space is available for you! 

## What's Included

- **10 Unique Challenge**
 - Several challenges utilizing stationary ropes and webbing for on-ground climbs (bouldering and scrambling) between mammoth rock outcroppings.

 - Squeeze through even more tight rock narrows. There will be at least two crawls through small tunnels in and between giant sandstone boulders and rocks.

 - Enjoy a brief overview of some of the plants and trees as you are walking the trails.

 - Cross our Sky Bridges between towering cliffs. 

 - Challenge yourself and ascend to the top of several rocks along the way.

###Requirements
- Each guest must sign a Liability Release Form. Participant should be at least 6 years of age. Any guest under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and have waiver signed by a parent or guardian. If the parent is not present, a photocopy of the parent’s drivers license must accompany the signed waiver.
- Must be in reasonably good health and be physically able to walk up steep inclines and hills. Distance covered will be at least 1.5 miles over alternating terrain with rocks, roots and leaves.
- Weight limit for the rock climbing add-on is 250 lbs.
- Pregnant women will not be allowed to climb or rappel, but may participate in an Ecotour if cleared by their physician.
- Anyone under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs or impairing legal medications will not be allowed to participate in any tour.

- This tour goes a step beyond our Natural High Tour and goes more into depth on **Edible & Medicinal woodland plants, wildflowers**, and **trees of Ohio and Appalachian Forest**. Many plants and trees discussed grow throughout Ohio and the midwest, some as very nutritious weeds, some as more rare plants and wildflowers of the Hocking Hills and Appalachia, and others as field and open area plants and trees. 
- On this awesome Educational tour we will traverse the **beautiful and pristine High Rock private forest sanctuary** viewing dozens of plants and trees several of the plants will change throughout the season so the tour will be **unique to season**
- This is great tour to bring a notebook, a camera, and your sense of adventure.  Not only will we be **learning about, tasting, smelling,** and **experiencing this amazing ecosystem** but guests will also enjoy the **beauty of the Rocks, Cliffs, Canyons,** and **unique rock formations** at High Rock Adventures-Hocking Hills Ecotours

- This tour is perfect for those that want to experience some smaller bouldering style climbs with a stationary rope along with many other challenges.  **6 different challenges are included.** 
- The High Rock Challenge requires 24-hour advance booking online and a minimum of 2 guests to run and a maximum of 12. For tours within 24 hours of departure time, give us a call for availability. We can often get you on this awesome tour the same day, but highly recommend advance reservations to ensure the time and space is available for you!
