Birdwatchers and photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to join me as we spot the interesting birds over the course of this  2-hour walking trip where we will explore the wooded trails and shorelines of Carver's Creek State Park in Spring Lake, NC.

Springtime & summer migratory bird sightings are common in mid April through May including Warblers, Bachman's Sparrows, Loggerhead Shrikes, Hawks, Flycatchers, Phoebes, Vireos, Towhees,  Great Blue Herons, Green Herons, Summer Tanagers, Indigo Buntings, Bluebirds and Nuthatches.

From September through March, we'll be on the lookout for various species of birds such as Warblers, Sparrows Hawks, Bluebirds, Sparrows, Brown Thrashers, Wrens, Towhees,  Herons,  Ducks, and Woodpeckers.

For your peace of mind and safety, social distancing will be practiced throughout the duration of this trip.

Birders and photographers are invited to join us on  this 2-hour walking trip where we will explore the Pine groves of the Weymouth Woods Sandhills Nature Preserve in Southern Pines, NC

We’ll be on the lookout for the most famous resident of the W.W.S.N.P., the endangered Red-cockaded Woodpecker as well as various species of wood Warblers, Flycatchers, Pileated Woodpeckers, Red-bellied Woodpeckers, Northern Flickers, Downy Woodpeckers, Hairy Woodpeckers, Red-headed Woodpeckers, Phoebes, Towhees, Summer Tanagers, Gnat Catchers, Wrens, Sparrows, Wood Thrush, Red-shouldered Hawks, and Nuthatches.

For your peace of mind and safety, social distancing will be practiced throughout the duration of this trip.

Viewing Recommendations: A zoom/telephoto lens (200 mm or more), spotting scope, or binoculars are recommended for this trip.

Will we play with other people? 
More than likely when playing on a weekend you will be playing with others. Don't worry there are no "professionals" that gang up on you here. 85% of our players are new or first timers. 

Do we need to bring a group? 
When playing on a Friday or Saturday you are not required to bring a group however the more people you bring the more fun to be had. 

Can I bring my own paintballs and gear? 
You are not allowed to bring any paint that is not purchased at our facility. This is for your safety. You can definitely bring your own paintball gear however it will be chrono'd to make sure it mets field standards.
