Tropic Island Resort

Terms and Conditions for Tropic Island Resort are as follows: CREDIT CARD REQUIRED FOR ALL RESERVATIONS CANCELLATIONS: There will be a one-night stay processing fee for all hotel cancellations. For long-term RV site stays, you are agreeing that you shall provide a 30-day notice of early departure to receive the deposit and not be responsible for the remainder of your booked reservation. Monthly and weekly reservations must be guaranteed by a $100.00 advance security deposit for RV sites, daily must be guaranteed by a deposit in the amount of the highest rate of one-night stay (Nonrefundable). Early departures in the hotel and suites will not be refunded. PARKING: Only 1 vehicle per space. Each additional vehicle, boat, or trailer will be $5 daily, $25 weekly, or $100 monthly. Every vehicle must be registered and have a parking sticker. Failure to register may result in towing and removal from the property at the vehicle owner’s expense. SMOKING: Absolutely NO smoking in rooms, please close the door when smoking outside. There will be a $250.00 fee charged to your card. Do not throw your cigarette butts on the ground when done, there are receptacles provided throughout the property. DAMAGE: Any damage to the property whether it be in the RV park to a site or a room will result in a fee sufficient to make the necessary repairs and/or cleanup. Any damaged or missing linens/towels from any room will be charged to replace the linen and incur fees to do so. If a named storm is determined to make landfall within 50 miles of Port Aransas, all RV's, vehicles, boats, golf carts, and other personal property must be removed from Tropic Island Resort. Any damage or cleanup caused by ANY individual's belongings left on the property shall be paid for by that individual. RV spaces will be charged a $50 site clean-up fee if any debris or trash is left behind. PET POLICY Absolutely no aggressive or continually barking dogs will be allowed. If you bring one, you will be asked to leave with no refund. Aggressive breeds areas allowed anywhere on the property - Pit Bulls & Staffordshire Terriers, Doberman Pinschers, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Chows, Great Danes, Presa Canarios (Mastiffs), Akitas, Alaskan Malamutes, Siberian Huskies, Wolf-hybrids. We reserve the right to refuse other breeds of dogs as well. All guests are responsible for their pets at all times. RV: RV guests are allowed two pets (cat or dog) in the park. Cats are NOT allowed to roam freely and must remain in the RV. ROOMS: In addition to the above regulations for our RV guests, guests in our rooms are allowed up to two dogs in select rooms cats are not permitted in any rooms. A nonrefundable pet fee of $50.00 will be charged. Dogs must be kenneled if left alone in the room. If your dog causes damage to the room or any other area of the resort, you will be responsible for the damage and your credit card will be charged a minimum of $250.00. Dogs may not be tied up outside of the rooms. No other type of animals is allowed in the rooms. Dogs must stay off bedding and furniture and must weigh no more than 40 pounds. All dogs are required to be in visual observation of their owner at all times. The 6-foot leash rule is in effect although you may use a retractable leash. Pets may NOT be tied outside the RV and/or left unattended. You MUST clean up after your pet immediately and dispose of it in the trash. Doggie bags are provided for your use. Use only designated areas for your dog to do its duty. Please do not allow your pet to relieve itself on shrubs, flowerbeds, or buildings. If your pet damages any part of the resort, you will be financially responsible and your credit card will be charged a minimum of $250.00.Pets are not allowed in the pool area, rec room, laundry facility, or other common areas. Washing of pet bedding is not allowed in the guest laundry. While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement
