Park Rules & Directions

CAMPGROUND GUIDELINES

REGISTRATION for campers and guests must be done at the office upon arrival.  

• Check-in for campsites and cabins is 3pm.  Check-out time is 11am.
• Depending on availability, guests can pay a fee for early check-in before 3pm or late check-out after 11am, but must first confirm with office staff.  
• One unit (RV, trailer, pop-up, or tent), one additional vehicle, two adults, and two children (max 4 people) are included in your rate.  All additional persons and vehicles must register at the office.  Guests are welcome on the property until 9pm. Day passes for visitors are .00.
• Visitors must park in the overflow lots, either outside of the gates, next to Charle’s Pond, or by the new bathhouse.  No more than 2 vehicles per site, including both campers and guests.

QUIET HOURS begin at 10pm and are strictly enforced at 11pm, with no exceptions.  We ask that music is then turned off and that noise is kept to a minimum in your RV or tent.  Any camper(s) or group that creates a disturbance will immediately lose camping privileges without refund(s).  A security guard will patrol the park as quiet hours approach to remind all guests to wind down.  Please notify security or call the manager on duty to report a nuisance after quiet hours.  

ALCOHOL is permitted at your campsite. When traveling about the campground, please use a cup or koozie.  GLASS BOTTLES are strictly prohibited! 

TRASH is to be disposed of in the dumpsters in the parking lot outside of the gates.  Please do not dispose of large items that do not fit in trash bags, such as chairs, tables, grills, awnings, etc.  By law, propane tanks of any size cannot be left in public dumpsters.  

VEHICLES.  All motor vehicles must be operated by a licensed adult.  DRIVE SLOWLY and observe the speed limit of 5 MPH!  Remember that there are children at play at all hours. 

KIDS should not be on bikes after dark!  

SMOKING (including vaping) is not permitted inside any building on the premises (rental units, office, bathrooms, etc.).  

PETS are welcome at Benner’s!  However, they must be kept on a leash at ALL TIMES and cannot be left unattended.  Two pets are allowed per site.  The first pet is included in the rental fee, the second pet is /night.  A 0 refundable pet deposit (per pet) will be required at check-in.  Please clean up after your pet(s) and dispose of their waste in the nearest receptacle.  Pets are never allowed in the main building or in the pool area.

FIREWORKS are not permitted at any time.  

GUNS are never permitted in public spaces.  This includes air, BB, paintball, etc.  

PROPERTY DAMAGE.  Our trees are important to us.  We ask that you do not cut down any standing trees (alive or dead).  Please do not deface or damage trees with nails, axes or saws. Any camper who destroys campground property will immediately lose camping privileges without refund(s).

FIREWOOD.  It is against Pennsylvania’s regulations to bring any type of out-of-state wood into the campground to avoid the spread of invasive species.  Firewood is available for purchase in the store or we would be happy to deliver it to your site.

WATER.  Washing of vehicles or equipment (kayaks, canoes, etc.) with communal water is strictly prohibited.  Offenders will be subject to a 0 fine.  

CANCELLATIONS.  Any cancellation prior to thirty (30) days notice will incur a cancellation fee.  Any cancellation fee inside twenty-nine (29) days or less will result in the loss of the deposit.  No refunds for early departure or for inclement weather.

SWIMMING POOL RULES

• The pool area is open daily from 11:00 AM until the store closes.
• No lifeguard on duty - Swim at your own risk.  
• Children 15 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• The pool is reserved for guests of the property only.  Guests must register in the office.
• Taking a shower before entering the pool is advised.  Toddlers must wear swim diapers.
• Alcohol is prohibited, as is all glassware.
• Music must be kept to a quiet decibel level.
• Pets are not permitted.  
• Please use the pool ladders to enter and exit the swimming pool.  
• Diving is strictly prohibited as it can lead to injury.
• Running and horseplay are prohibited.
• Do not hang on the ropes for any reason.  
• Any person suffering from a known serious medical condition (e.g. heart disease, severe circulation problems, epilepsy or respiratory problems) should not use the swimming pool.
• Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted in the pool complex or in the surrounding areas.
• For emergencies, dial 911.  A first-aid kit is available in the store.  

ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES

• 5 visitors allowed per day (.00 each, visitors must check in with staff).  
• Please keep your campfire (s) small and manageable and extinguish them with water prior to retiring or leaving the site.  Do not attempt to move the fire ring(s) or to build a fire outside of them.  Do not burn anything other than wood.  
• An adult must accompany children under the age of 8 to the restrooms, store, and office.  
• The laundry room will be open 24 hours.
• The game room will be open during office hours, which may vary depending on the season. Any damage to the machines will be the responsibility of the parent.
• Owner and management are not liable for any lost or stolen articles or any personal injury or damage for any cause.  Guests assume that the use of all of the facilities is at their own risk.
