Lakeshore Inn & RV is the oldest resort on Shasta Lake. Lakeshore Drive is the old Highway 99 and prior to that it was the Old Oregon Trail! The “Old Lodge first built in the 30’s, burned to the ground on October 26th of 1996. In June of 1997, we reopened with the new Cocktail Lounge and Dining Room facing the Lake and featuring a 1907 Antique Bar, from the Lady Lorenz Hotel in Redding.
We provide a full service Restaurant with air conditioning indoors or misters outside on the patio. We have a full service cocktail lounge and a beautiful large swimming pool overlooking Shasta Lake, a mini store with a gift shop, ice, ice cream, etc., laundromat, playground, picnic area, video arcade game room and tree shaded RV and tent sites with picnic tables and fire pit on all sites.
We host and cater numerous family reunions, weddings, receptions and special events each year.
We do not advertise Lakeshore Inn & RV as being quiet and secluded. You can hear trucks going by on the I5 freeway bridge, passing trains, boats on the lake, children laughing and bands playing. We do not charge extra for any of these added attractions.
