The Penobscot Outdoor Center (POC) Campground is your base lodge for exploring the Katahdin Region. It includes great vacation amenities including amazing views of Katahdin and paddling on Pockwockamus Pond. The campground features deluxe camping options: campsites, canvas cabin tents and bunkhouses. We are the closest campground to Baxter State Park. The 60 acres of campground are located on Pockwockamus Pond, 2 miles from the South Entrance to Baxter State Park and just 20 miles outside of the town of Millinocket.
