Welcome to Sundowner RV Village which is nestled in the North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountain. Our Village s designed exclusively for the adult camper (55+) as we are a haven for peace, quiet and tranquility. Sundowner caters to the RV Travelers and Park Models owners looking for a vacation get away or for a year round retirement cottage. Hidden under a canopy of mature oaks, Sundowner offers a warm and friendly atmosphere that is rivaled by few. Most visitors to our park feel they've found a gem in the mountains.

From Asheville (80 miles from Sundowner): Take US-74 W to US-64 W to Hayesville. Turn left onto NC-69 and travel 3 miles turn left onto McClure Road. Immediately turn right onto McDonald Road. Immediately turn left onto Sundowner Circle. The office is at the far end of the white house as you enter the campground.
From Atlanta (95 miles from Sundowner): Take I-75 W to 575 N to 76 N to 17 N to 69 N. By pass the first road to the right which is McDonald Road. Turn right onto McClure Rd. Immediately turn right onto McDonald Road. Immediately turn left onto Sundowner Circle. The office is at the far end of the white house as you enter the campground.
From Chattanooga (90 miles from Sundowner): Take I-24 N to I-75 N. Take US-64 BYP E then take US-64 E to Hayesville. Turn right onto NC-69 Travel 3 miles turn left on McClure Rd. Immediately turn right onto McDonald Road. Immediately turn left onto Sundowner Circle. The office is at the far end of the white house as you enter the campground.
