Bass Lake Campground - Effie

Bass Lake County Park and Campground is a pristine park surrounding beautiful Bass Lake and encompasses 663 acres of red and white pine, spruce, aspen, and cedar forest. It is located off of Minnesota State Aid Highway 1, eleven miles east of Effie or eleven miles west of Togo, Minnesota. The property was purchased by Itasca County in 1984 from the Boise Cascade Corporation with the help of a Land and Water Conservation Fund grant. Campground fees are comparable to other public campgrounds. Camping visitations are limited to fourteen days per camp unit. Bass Lake Park is interlaced with many trails within its 663-acre boundary. Park System personnel minimally maintain the trails. At the present time, most of the trails are open to multiple uses that include hikers, bikers, equestrian use, and off-highway vehicles of less than 1000 pounds. There is also a hiker-only trail located around the south half of Bass Lake, which allows for complete circle hikes of the lake.

Welcome to Big Falls! We are a small, friendly community nestled in the Northern Minnesota wilderness, alongside the scenic Bigfork River. Our City Campground offers complete camping and picnicking facilities. It is nestled between the whispering pines and the rushing Bigfork River rapids. There are electric hookups for RVs, as well as tent sites available. Clean indoor bathroom and shower facilities are on site. We also have a separate area for horse camping. These horse camp sites offer electric and water hookups, with tether lines at each site.

The Blueberry Hills RV Park features a 28-site campground that sits right next to the golf course. Only 1.5 miles north of Deer River, Minnesota- the campground park is just off US Highway 6 for easy access. Located near many popular lakes like Winnibigoshish, Bowstring/Sand, Deer, Moose, and countless others. All sites have access to sewer, water, and electricity. We also offer a shower house with private, 3/4 baths and a coin-operated laundry.
