Our park was built by our parents who had foresight to provide spacious campsites and large areas for games and activities. The park abutted a large lake until the Kansas drought dried it up.
Stay with us at Water Sports Campground & RV Park, LLC while exploring the history of Dodge City. We're located in southwest Kansas, 150 miles west of Wichita. This historic community is the seat of Ford county. Dodge City is famous for its rich history as a frontier cowtown.

Wax Museum & Teacher's Hall of Fame See the life size wax sculptures of many famous gunfighters who shaped the old west, and tour what was dedicated to the teachers who shape the future. Home of Stone Open June - August or by appointment in the winter months. This house was made with native limestone in 1881, and has many of the original furnishings on display. Cemetery/Museum The Boot Hill Museum is located on the very site of the Boot Hill Cemetery and features a gunfight re-enactment. Fort Dodge Take a walking tour of some Old Fort Buildings
Directions: From Junction US 50 and 2nd Avenue in downtown Dodge City, go 1/2 mile South on 2nd Avenue. Turn East at the Taylors Roadhouse and go 4 blocks on Cherry Street Turn right and go 2 blocks. Entrance to the park is on the left.
