Near Montague and Whitehall. US 31 N. of Muskegon to Fruitvale Rd Exit 131 (B-86), 5 mi. E. on B 86 (Fruitvale Rd.). Follow signs.

Ø  Check-in: Campers may check-in anytime between 3 pm and 10 pm. 

Ø  Camp sites Checkout:  1 PM

Ø  Rustic & Deluxe Cabins : Check-in: 3:00 PM  Check-out: 11:00 AM

Ø  Speed Limit: 10 mph. (Just keep your foot off the gas.  It works!)

Ø  Vehicles: Limit 2 vehicles per camp site. There are other areas to park additional vehicles if needed.

Ø  Golf carts:  Must be driven by licensed insured drivers only and speed limit enforced.   Do not drive carts after dark.

Ø  Camp Fires:  Fire rings are provided on each campsite.  Keep fires inside these contained locations and do not leave a fire unattended.  You are welcome to dead wood, but, no cutting live trees or brush.

Ø  Children:  All children and teenagers should be at your campsite by 10 pm.

Ø  Trash:  Dumpsters are located near the exit.  Never leave garbage out to tempt animals.  Please do not use a fire ring for trash.

Ø  Pets:  We are pet friendly. All pets kept on a leash, attended by an adult, and picked-up after.  Always control your dogs bark to be respectful to everyone.

Ø  Visitors:  To ensure the safety and comfort of ALL of our campers, all visitors must register upon entering White River Campground.  Visitors must leave by 10pm.  Visitor fees apply.  Visitors arriving after 9 PM will not be allowed in to the camp. 

Ø  Quiet Hours:  11 pm-8 am.  .  Motorized vehicles should not be operated during quiet hours.

Ø  Alcohol:  Alcohol is a privilege in our park, not your right.  Alcohol is to be kept at your site, consumed in moderation and at no time will management tolerate abusive or disruptive behavior because of it.  Alcohol is not allowed in or around the bath houses, pool, store or any other public area within the park.

Ø  Bicycles:  Stay on roads or trails. No riding after dark. Ride with caution, walk your bike down hills.

Ø  Sport Equipment:  Horseshoes, volleyballs, basketballs are available at the camp store at no charge.  Please do not use horseshoes at your camp site.

Ø  Wi-Fi:  We are located in an area where we have very few options to provide internet access.  If you cannot pick up a signal at your campsite, there are “hotspot” areas near store & pool, main entrance building, and the picnic shelter.

Ø  Respect Other Campers: Do not walk or bicycle through other campsites.

Ø  Dreaded No-no's:  No generators, no firearms, no fireworks of any kind, no motorized mini-bikes/mopeds/off-road motorcycles/four wheeled ATV's.
