OHI member campgrounds provide Personal Information when they sign up to become a member by completing a membership application either online. The information contained within the membership form a member completes is used to create a public campground member profile on this Site, which will be made available to consumers to view, without limitation.

Any Personal Information Site users provide will be collected and stored by the Site and its web provider and may be used for our own business and administrative purposes, such as, without limitation, responding to your questions or comments, notifying you if you are a winner of a drawing, to send you a newsletter (at your request), identifying programs and events that might interest you and to potentially send outdoor related e-mail promotions and special offers from third-party sponsors (with your permission). We do not sell, rent, or otherwise release telephone numbers to any third party, nor are they used for any other purpose other than stated above. Personal Information is not shared with outside affiliated organizations unless expressly written.

In addition to the information you choose to submit, our systems are set up to gather certain anonymous data. The information we collect that does not identify you personally is used to monitor the use of and improve our Site, as well as for other internal analysis. In particular, but without limitation, IP addresses are used to diagnose problems with the server on which this information is stored, analyze trends and statistics, site administration, track user movements, gather information about site usage, improve visitors’ online experience, and to facilitate navigation within the Site.

Member and customer credit and debit card information is not stored or maintained by the Site. When site users and consumer choose to pay online using a credit or debit card, that information is processed directly through a third-party clearinghouse using appropriate security processes and data encryption.

We may release personal information when we believe, in good faith, that such release is reasonable and necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against persons or entities that may be causing injury to you, us or others.

Welcome to GoCampingAmerica.com (the “Site”) Terms & Conditions, owned and operated by the Outdoor Hos spitality Industry (OHI). By accessing, browsing, or using this Site, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Site. 

 

1. Use of the Site

GoCampingAmerica.com is intended to provide users with information about campgrounds, RV parks, and related outdoor hospitality services. Users may search listings, read articles, submit inquiries, and where available, make reservations or contact businesses directly. 

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of the Site by, any third party. When you sign up or make a booking, you may also be subject to additional terms or policies specific to that feature. 

 

2. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, icons, and software, is the property of OHI or its content suppliers and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. 

You may view, download, and print content from the Site for personal, non-commercial use only. Any other use of content—including reproduction, modification, distribution, or republication—without prior written consent is strictly prohibited. 

3. Third-Party Links and Listings

This Site may contain links to or information about third-party websites and services. GoCampingAmerica.com does not control or endorse any third-party content and is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or content of external sites. 

Campground listings are provided by third parties. While we strive to keep the information accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee its completeness or correctness. Users are encouraged to verify details with individual campgrounds before booking. 

 

4. Intellectual Property

All content—text, graphics, logos, software—belongs to OHI or its licensors and is protected under copyright, trademarks, and other IP laws. You may view, download, or print content for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires prior written permission from OHI.  

 

5. Disclaimers

GoCampingAmerica.com is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. OHI makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Site or the information, content, or materials included. 

We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Site or server is free of viruses or other harmful components. 

OHI does not process or hold any reservation or payment funds. All refunds and payouts are handled directly by the listing operator, in accordance with their stated cancellation and payment policies 

 

6. Third-Party Listings & Bookings

• Listings on GoCampingAmerica.com may be provided by third-party operators; OHI doesn’t guarantee their accuracy or availability. 

• Booking terms, refund policies, and cancellation rules are governed by the listing operator’s terms, which may include non-refundable fees. Spot2Nite–style policies apply where relevant: 

• Platform facilitates booking and payments; travel fees are charged by third parties. 

• Convenience or platform fees are non‑refundable. 

• Cancellation requests must follow operator-specified rules and be submitted via the Platform or designated support channels. 

7. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any disputes related to your use of the Platform will be resolved via binding arbitration, not through class actions or juries. You agree that you will sue OHI only in your individual capacity and cannot seek relief for others. 

 

8. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

• The Platform is provided “as-is” without warranties, express or implied. OHI disclaims warranties of performance, accuracy, uninterrupted service, or compatibility. 

• OHI is not liable for any indirect, punitive, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from the use—or inability to use—the Platform. 

 

9. Indemnification

• OHI may modify or update these Terms at any time, effective upon posting to the Platform. 

• Your continued use after updates constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, cease using the Platform. 

• OHI may also modify or discontinue any feature or service without notice and without liability. 

 

11. Suspension & Termination

• OHI may suspend or terminate your access for breaches of these Terms. 

• In case of termination, your rights end immediately, and OHI may delete associated data.

14. Additional OHI Membership Notes

• OHI membership grants enhanced access to GoCampingAmerica listings, member-exclusive content, discounts, resources, and advocacy—a flat annual fee plus site-based dues applies for businesses. 

 

15. Miscellaneous

• If any provision is held illegal or unenforceable, the remaining terms remain effective. 

• You may not assign or transfer these Terms without OHI’s written consent. 

• The Terms, combined with the Privacy Policy and any booking-specific agreements, represent the entire agreement between you and OHI.
