    The Wonders of Water
    Parks

    Happy Camper Blog

    Water parks
offer plenty of refreshing summertime fun for the whole family. Best of all,
they have something for everyone, from the adrenaline-pumping thrills of
steep water slides to obstacle courses, lazy rivers and those splash pads the
little ones just can’t seem to get enough of. Here are a few places you can
indulge your love of camping and have lots of fun at a water park at the same
    time:

    MARYLAND | Yogi Bear’s Jellystone
    Park™ Camp-Resort

    Hagerstown

This Maryland park offers not just one 400’ water side, but TWO of
them that are named Ranger’s Revenge and Picnic Plunge. They’re part of a
huge water playground called Yogi Bear’s Water Zone which also includes a
3,200 square foot interactive pool, an 8-foot rain drop, and built-in seating
with hydro-therapy jets for the adults to enjoy! The kids will love the
interactive splash pad. It’s filled with fun features like a pirate ship,
water cannons, a slide and blasters. Check the park’s website to see the
dates the water park is open. Prime season runs from June 9 to September
    3.

    VIRGINIA | Williamsburg
    KOA

    Williamsburg

This 180-acre campground, located minutes from historic Colonial
Williamsburg, not only has its own heated pool and splash pad — it makes the
ideal “home base” for visiting Water Country
    USA
. This massive water park has a wide variety of
attractions like the 1,500’ Hubba Hubba Highway river adventure, the Malibu
Pipeline and Meltdown flume rides, and an “epic” drop slide called Vanish
Point. There’s also the Surfer’s Bay Wave Pool, and attractions specially
designed for kids, including the Cow-A-Bunga splash zone and the H2O and
    Kritter Korral water playgrounds.

FLORIDA | Sun N Fun RV
    Resort

    Sarasota

There’s water water everywhere at this large Florida park. It
features a Wibit water obstacle course, a mega slide, open-air dive-in movie
system with a 21’ screen, an Olympic-size swimming pool, a splash pool,
kiddie boats and hot tubs, too! On July 7-9, the park is hosting a Wet N’
Wild Weekend that will include a dive-in movie, water wars, water balloons, a
Slip N Slide and Wibit contests.

    OHIO | Austin Lake
    Park

    Toronto

An 80-acre stocked lake is the centerpiece of this park, so it
offers plenty of ways to have water-based fun. It features Wibit and Rockit
inflatable water attractions, paddleboats, kayaks, a tube slide, canoes,
bumper boats and pontoon rentals. Austin Lake is located in eastern Ohio
about an hour west of Pittsburgh.

INDIANA | Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Camp Resort at
    Barton Lake

    Fremont

There are plenty of ways for your family to make a splash at this
park in northeast Indiana! It includes an indoor pool, three outdoor pools, a
water splash park, Aqua Play Zone and three giant water slides. You can also
rent paddle boats and row boats. And, of course, the kids always love meeting
Yogi Bear and his friends Boo Boo, Cindy Bear and Ranger
    Smith.
