Each stay comes with four entries to Deerassic Park Activities (Thursday – Saturday, May 10 – September 27). Deerassic Park Activities include: fishing, canoeing & kayaking, archery, trail hikes, viewing of our live deer herd, creek studies, crafts, and much more. You will also be able to visit the Ohio Whitetail Hall of Fame and our amazing Welcome Center, which includes dozens of hands-on displays for all ages.

Rules

Registration and Arrival Procedure - Check in time: 1:00 pm-7:00 pm (Mon-Thu) - 1:00 pm-8:00 pm (Fri-Sat). - 1:00 pm-6:00 pm (Sun). - Check out time: 11:00 am. - Early check-ins may be allowed, but cannot be guaranteed. - All guests must register at the front office before setting up their campsite. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Camping Rules - Towable campers and RVs only. - No tents are allowed at this time. Trash - Please keep all trash/scraps picked up in order to keep our campsites clean. Rugs - No rugs or mats are allowed to avoid creating dead spots in the grass. Canopies - Canopies and other shade structures 10’ by 10’ or smaller are allowed and must be kept within your designated site. Code of Conduct - Obey all posted signs, rules, speed limits, etc. Alcohol - Alcohol is permitted at the campground only. - Please drink responsibly, as this is a family campground. - Alcohol is not permitted in open park areas. - No open display of alcoholic beverages (use a can koozie, cup, etc.). - Failure to follow these rules may result in you being asked to leave your site. Guest Responsibility and Conduct - Any guest(s) that willingly or negligently deface, tamper with, or damage property or equipment of Deerassic will be held liable for damages. - Guests may not alter the natural landscape or vegetation in any way. Pond - No swimming is allowed in the campground pond. Firearms - Illegal firearms, weapons, fireworks, and other explosives are not permitted. - Legal firearms must be kept securely in a vehicle or RV. Shooting Range - The shooting range is only open during special events and activities, which will be run by Deerassic Park staff. - Do not enter the range for any reason without being accompanied by staff. Campfires - Campfires are to be kept in designated fire rings for each site. - Campfires must be kept attended at all times and should be extinguished before leaving your site. Firewood - No outside transportation of firewood is permitted to prevent the transportation of invasive pests. - Firewood can be purchased at the front office. Equipment and Facility Use - Do not move fire rings, picnic tables, etc. from designated areas. Utility and Site Use Policies - Guests are not permitted to work on, diagnose, or modify electric, water, or sewer hookups in any way. - Guests are not permitted to use a hose to wash vehicles, RVs, boats, etc. - Please be courteous to other campers. Quite Hours - Quiet hours are from 11:00 pm until 8:00 am. - Guests may stay up during this window; however, excess noise, loud music, and/or inappropriate language will not be tolerated. - Guests who are not staying on site must exit the park by the start of quiet hours. Campers - Campers and RV’s may not be left unattended overnight. Vehicles - No golf carts, ATVs, UTVs, or other off-road vehicles are permitted inside the campground except for handicap use (must have handicap placard displayed on vehicle at all times). - Street-legal motorcycles and scooters are permitted for transportation to the campsite only (no joyriding). - Small electric scooters and bicycles are permitted and must obey the posted speed limits. Children - Anyone under the age of 18 must return to their campsite by 11:00 pm unless accompanied by an adult. - No minors under the age of 18 can be left at the campground without a parent or legal guardian. Clotheslines - No clotheslines are allowed at any given place outside of campers/RVs. Site Reservation and Occupancy Rules - Sites may not be roped off or saved for other guests. Sewage and Wastewater Policies - Wastewater should be disposed of only at designated dump stations. - No open dumping is permitted. Site Clean-Up Rules - Please keep all personal belongings picked up when not present to allow mowing of campsites. Flags and Signs Guidelines - No signs or flags are allowed on sites except for name and/or decorative signs. - Deerassic reserves the right to remove any sign or flag. Business and Political Activity Rules - No peddling, soliciting, or commercial enterprises are permitted in the campground area. - Political advertising is prohibited on the campground. Guest Eligibility and Safety Reporting - Individuals who have been convicted of sexual offenses and/or are currently listed on a sexual offender registry are prohibited from using the campground. - Anyone who witnesses or is aware of unsafe acts or conditions is encouraged and expected to bring them to the attention of Deerassic management or staff. Management Rights and Park Access - Deerassic reserves the right to temporarily close any part of the campground for maintenance/repair, and/or special events. - Deerassic reserves the right to refuse admission and/or remove persons from the park. Reservations - A minimum of 2 days is required for summer weekends, 3 days for holidays. - Reservations must be made in advance to guarantee spot availability. - The reservation fee covers 6 people. Each person beyond this will be subject to $5 additional fee. - Maximum of 10 people per site - Maximum stay length is 2 weeks. - Guests who stay 4 nights or longer are required to wait one week (7 days) to return to the campground. Water Supply Guidelines - Water pressure at the campground is about 140 PSI. - We recommend using a pressure regulator to prevent damage to RV plumbing. - Regulators will be available for purchase at the check-in area/campground store. - Deerassic Family Campground will not be held responsible for any damage caused by failure to use a water pressure regulator. Pets - A maximum of 2 pets are allowed per campsite. - Pets include dogs and cats; no large exotic animals/livestock. - Campers should check with management for other pets. - All pets must be kept on a short leash and in designated areas. - Service animals only in buildings; excludes emotional support animals. - Clean up after your pet while walking & at the campsite. - Owners are responsible for the proper cleanup and disposal of pet waste. - Pets may not be left unattended. - Pets must be kept on a leash with a maximum length of 6’ at all times. - Noisy or aggressive pets are not allowed. - Pets must be up to date on all shots and vaccinations. - All pets must be registered with the front desk upon arrival or registration. - Failure to comply with any of the pet rules listed above may result in fines and/or removal of the pet from the site. Parking - 2 vehicles are permitted per site. - A parking permit must be displayed in the vehicle at all times. - Parking is permitted only at the designated site. - No parking at neighboring sites (even if they are empty). - No parking on grass. - Additional parking is available in separate lots at a cost of $5/day. Pond Rules - The pond may be used for fishing as well as boating. - Please be respectful to others using the pond for both activities. - There will be no lifeguard on duty; no swimming is allowed. Fishing - Catch and release fishing only. - Do not harm or harass fish or any other wildlife native to the area. - Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult while fishing. - Fishing is only permitted for Deerassic Park Family Campground members. Boat/Dock Usage - Boats can be rented from Lakeside Carryout (check-in area) at no additional cost. - Personal boats are not permitted. - Only the boats loaned by the Campground should be used. - Anyone who wishes to use a boat must be properly fitted with a life jacket. - Life jackets must be worn at all times. - Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. - No ramming, bumping, or horseplay will be allowed. Playground - Use the playground at your own risk. - Children under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult. - No glass or alcoholic beverages are permitted in the playground area. - Proper footwear is required. - Improper use of playground equipment is prohibited. Shower House (Expected to be completed the week of 6/20/2025) - The shower house is reserved for campground members only. - Please do not leave any excessive messes or trash in the shower house. - Let an employee know if the shower house needs to be cleaned or serviced. - Please be courteous to others waiting to use the shower house; do not spend excessive time occupying a shower cell. Dump Stations - Connect the hose to the trailer waste tank - Place the end of the hose in the drain while holding the cover open with your foot. - Open the trailer waste valve to allow draining. - Flush any mess or spills into the drain using the supplied hose at the dump station. - Please turn off the water when finished. - Dump stations are provided as a convenience to Deerassic Park Family Campground members free of any additional charge. - If you are not a current resident of the campground, please visit Lakeside Carryout to pay a $10 dump station fee. Deerassic Park - Deerassic Park is located directly next door to the campground. - Up to 4 wristbands are included with reservations; additional wristbands can be purchased for $5 (not required for all activities). - Admission is only permitted during Open Park Hours, which are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 am-4:00 pm. - Please do not cross the gate on the far west side of the campground outside of these times. - No pets allowed past the gate mentioned above. - If you wish to drive to Deerassic Park, please use the Route 22 entrance rather than the gravel entrance. - This is not a public road. Liability and Risk Acknowledgment - By making a reservation with Deerassic Park Family Campground, you assume responsibility for all risks or accidents during the time of your stay. - Deerassic Park is not responsible and will not be held liable in any way for any property damage or loss/theft, as well as personal injuries.

Cancellation Policy

MODERATE If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
