Luxurious, comfortable log guest houses. At ​Currant Ridge we offer the most affordable and complete private accommodations in McCarthy, Alaska. Our spacious, smoke-free guest houses offer the “creature comforts” that will help you relax after a great day in the Wrangell-St ­ St. Elias National Park and Preserve. Our guest houses are custom designed, Alaskan-style log homes. They all have power 24/7, WiFi, full kitchen, private bath with tub/shower, a private bedroom with a luxurious queen bed, and a sleeper sofa.

Currant Ridge is located near the end of the McCarthy Road in the heart of the Wrangell – St. Elias National Park. Our guest houses all have large decks with mountain views, deck furniture and gas grills. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or spend the afternoon relaxing when you have finished your adventures. For over two decades, we have worked and played in McCarthy, our favorite place on Earth.
