When the benefits of the mineral-rich water became evident, efforts from various American Legion Posts ensured the water's continuous flow while mitigating any dangers.
Today, this Sleeping Buffalo Resort sources its water from a 3,200 ft deep artesian well, boasting a flow rate of 900 gallons per minute at a warm 108 degrees Fahrenheit.
