Established in the 1920s, the reservoir not only serves its original purpose of aiding farmers and ranchers downstream in Nevada but has also become a thriving fishery. Anglers can enjoy trophy Rainbow and Brown trout fishing just steps away from the campground. Beyond fishing, guests can explore nearby attractions such as the historic ghost town of Bodie, the charming community of Bridgeport, and the renowned catch-and-release wild trout of the East Walker River.
