Twin Bears Wooded Campground is located in the heart of beautiful northern Michigan. Just four miles East of I-75, we offer 160 spacious, wooded sites: 31 full hookups with sewer, 57 with electric and water, 51 with electric-only, and 21 rustic sites. We offer four camping cabins (two with indoor plumbing) for your relaxing, fun-filled getaway from May 1st through October 31st. Twin Bears is pet-friendly!

Tippy Dam on the Big Manistee River is a world-class fishing hotspot. We are steps from the Dam. The Manistee River stretches on for over forty miles. The Manistee River is the third river running through the Manistee National Forest and is considered the "family river" for its slow-moving, calm current and its nice width. We are in the "Heart" of the Manistee National Forest, in Manistee County.  We have Electric Service on 24 Sites. 

We have 11 Sites that have no electricity. We have picnic tables and fire pits on all of our sites. We have a bath house with showers we upgraded our septic system in the fall of 2024. We have a water fill station and a dump station available for use. We are pet-friendly. We are open year-round, so come and stay with us and enjoy all the area has to offer.
