The Texas State Railroad Campground, situated in the East Texas town of Rusk, provides an ideal setting for a delightful southern getaway. Accommodations include campsites with water-only, water and electricity, or full hookups featuring 50-amp service and sewer connections. The grounds boast amenities such as picnic tables, grills, fire rings, a laundry facility, and WiFi. Visitors can enjoy separate showers and restrooms, a water splash pad, nature trails, and a campground office offering sundries and firewood for purchase. Anglers can explore the 15-acre Cherokee Lake, teeming with a variety of fish.

Travelers can choose from RV sites or tent sites at the Rusk Campground.
