Pine Haven Venue & Lodging in Rapid City, SD, offers 29 full-hookup RV sites and 30 cabins, with 30 and 50-amp service and room for rigs up to 85 feet.
Sites come as back-ins and pull-thrus, each carrying water, sewer, and electric with site-delivered WiFi, a fire pit, and a picnic table. At 85 feet the pull-thrus take the longest coaches. With 30 log cabins alongside 29 RV sites, the property works equally well for a rig or a family reunion booking cabins together. Laundry, a bathhouse with showers, a general store, on-site dining, visiting food trucks, and a recreation center cover the rest. Pets are welcome.
The property spreads across 19 forested acres at the base of Storm Mountain in the Black Hills National Forest — the setting is the amenity, and the design reflects it.
Rapid City and Mount Rushmore are each about 10 minutes away, putting the whole Black Hills circuit within easy reach.

Registration and Arrival
Check-In Procedure
- Check-In: 4:00 PM.
- Check-Out: 10:00 AM.
- If arriving after 6:00 PM, please call to make arrangements as our front desk is open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Late check-out is not an option.
- A one night deposit is charged to a credit/debit card at the time of reservation with the remaining balance charged the morning of check-in.
- Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high-impact periods.
- No refunds will be offered for early checkout.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
Lost/Stolen Policy
- Pine Haven Venue & Lodging is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Smoking Policy
- NO SMOKING in units. If smoking inside any building occurs, up to a $250 cleaning fee may be applied.
Quiet Hours
- Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Campfires must be extinguished by 11:00 PM.
- First violation of quiet hours will result in a verbal warning, and the second violation will result in a $100.00 fine charged to the card on file for the offending party.
- Third violation of quiet hours will result in requiring violating party to leave the premises with no refund of reservation charges.
Reservation Policy
- Large Groups (3 or more rooms booked under the same payment) and/or Extended Stay (reservations of 7 or more nights):
- A first-night deposit is charged to the credit card at the time of reservation, and a second-night deposit is charged to the credit card 30 days prior to check-in, with the remaining balance due the morning of check-in.
Vehicle Policy
- Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is a high-impact period. For Rally reservations, the first-night deposit will be charged to a credit/debit card at the time of reservation with the remaining balance charged to the card on May 1sy.
Housekeeping Policy
- Housekeeping is family style.
- Rooms will not be cleaned daily.
Children Policy
- Children are welcome with an accompanying adult.
- Camp mattresses (in children’s loft of cabins) do not include bedding and pillows.
- Please plan to bring pillows and blankets with you for the children’s loft. Blankets and pillows can rented at the front office store.
Pets Policy
- Dogs are allowed at RV sites and in pet-friendly cabins.
- Dogs are the ONLY species allowed at Pine Haven Venue & Lodging.
- A fee of $35, per pet, per night will be charged.
- Damages caused by pets to Pine Haven Venue & Lodging will be charged to the card on file.
- Guests are required to pick up after their dogs.
- Pine Haven Venue & Lodging will charge a $25.00 fee to guests who do not do so.
Cancellation Policy
STRICT
If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a 50% refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
