47 RV Sites

Lone Mountain Riverfront Campground, set against the backdrop of the Western Maine Mountains, offers a peaceful camping experience just a stone's throw from the quaint town of Bethel. Our campground boasts brand-new facilities and a variety of campsite options from rustic tent sites to full hookup RV sites, glamping tents, and cozy cabins. We're a welcoming retreat for all, including families and pets. Children have plenty of open space to play, and everyone can enjoy a refreshing dip in the river. Here, the great outdoors are your playground. With an extensive network of ATV and equestrian trails, there's no shortage of adventure, the sandy-bottomed river invites you to fish or swim, and evenings are best spent gathered around a crackling campfire. Our campground is situated just a mile from the heart of Andover, a charming village in a valley between the vast western Maine mountains. The sandy Ellis River meanders through this picturesque town, gracing our campground before flowing under the iconic Lovejoy Covered Bridge. Here, on the fringe of the wilderness, Maine's diverse wildlife, including moose and bald eagles, are a common sight. Beyond Andover, a short drive takes you to the beautiful village of Bethel, the inviting slopes of Sunday River Resort, and the natural beauty of Step Falls Preserve and Grafton Notch State Park. Whether your ideal day involves an exhilarating ATV ride, a trek on the Appalachian Trail, or a peaceful morning of fly-fishing, your Maine adventure is just around the corner.
