Rules

Registrations and Arrival Check-In Procedure - RV check-in time is between 12 pm and dusk. - RV check-out time is 11 am. - Cabins' check-in time is 3 pm. - Cabin check-out time is 12 pm. - You can access your cabin using the key box located at your door. - If you’re checking in late, be sure you have the gate code and instructions handy. - We may not be on site to assist you, so please be prepared. - Make sure that you’ve signed the policies that were sent to you. - When booking through our website or phone, there are no late arrival fees. - Although we recommend getting here before dark, if it is not possible, we will give you instructions for self-check-in. - Late arrivals are only allowed for our cabins and pull-through RV sites. - Our back-in sites are in an area where it gets too dark to safely back into an RV. - If you reserved a back-in site and cannot get here before dark, we may request that you shift to a pull-through site. - A flashlight will come in handy for navigating paths after dark. - Get excited and sing your favorite songs all the way here! - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager makes the ultimate decision regarding spot placement. Office Hours - Our office is open from 9 am to 6 pm every day. Gate Instructions - We are a fully gated, high-fenced property. - Upon your arrival, please reach out, and we will provide you with instructions on entering. - In most situations, we will be meeting you at the entrance gate to escort you to your cabin or RV campsite, but in the event we are unable to, please reach out for instructions. - We kindly ask that upon entering and leaving the gate that you wait for the gate to fully close so that our wildlife will not escape. - Much of our wildlife is tame and is not used to busy highways and scary predators they may run into. Wildlife And Food Safety - Please do not leave food, trash, or BBQ remnants out, as wildlife frequents this property. Quiet Hours - Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am. Speed And Vehicle Use - The speed limit in the park is 10mph. Prohibited Vehicles - Dirt bikes and ATVs are not allowed on the property. Prohibited Activities - Hunting, fireworks, and firearms are not allowed on the property. Children And Supervision - We ask that all guests under the age of 14 be supervised by an adult in all areas of the property, including the pool, to ensure their safety. Water Conservation - We are on well water, and kindly ask that you conserve water. Septic System Care - We are on a septic system. - Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilets. Property Access - This is a gated property. - The access code should only be shared in the event of an emergency or when fire or law enforcement assistance is required. Wildlife And Food Safety - Please do not leave food, trash, or BBQ remnants out, as wildlife frequents this property. Nature Path Safety - Exercise caution while walking out on the nature paths or anywhere on the property. - Wear appropriate gear and footwear. - We strive to protect the natural habitat of local wildlife. - Be aware of fire ants, spiders, and scorpions. Pool And Hot Tub Rules - Our swimming pool is open from 7 am to 10 pm during the spring, summer, and early fall seasons. - There is no lifeguard on duty, so please be mindful of safety. - Our hot tub is open from 7 am – 10 pm in the fall, winter, and spring and is available to those 21 years of age or older only. - Appropriate swimwear must be worn at all times. - Cutoffs are not allowed. - Everyone is kindly asked to shower before getting into the pool or hot tub to help keep the water clean and enjoyable for all. - Everyone is encouraged to respect each other’s space by avoiding jumping, yelling, or any disturbances. - Little ones need adult supervision, so please stay in the pool area with them. - For everyone’s safety, glass items should be left at home and non-breakable drinkware used instead. Pet Policy - Bring your furry friends along for a wag-tastic stay at our RV campsites – no extra cost! - We can happily host up to two pets in our RV sites. - In our pet-friendly cabins, we allow one pet with a $50 pet fee. - Pets should be no more than 40lbs. - Check out our cozy, pet-friendly cabins: the Hitchin Post, Gunslinger, Six-Shooter Yurt, Buckskin Lodge, and the Rancher cabin. - Pets can’t roam in the store, Party Barn, chapel, or pool areas. - Leashes are a must for our four-legged pals. - Owners should keep their pets tidy and the barks to a minimum. - Pets can’t lounge on the furniture or beds; if they do, a $50 fee per pet will be added. - Pets must have up-to-date vaccinations to ensure the safety of all woodland friends and guests. - Overly rambunctious or rowdy pets may be asked to leave the property. Cabin Temperature Guidelines - We greatly appreciate your help in keeping our cabin comfy and welcoming for everyone! - When you’re planning to head out for a while, we kindly suggest setting your air conditioning to a comfortable 78 degrees. - This helps maintain a pleasant atmosphere and ensures that the systems function properly. - While you’re enjoying your time relaxing in the cabin, please keep the temperature comfortably under 78 degrees. - Avoid lowering the AC below 70 degrees, as this helps to keep everything in great shape and prevents any potential issues. - Your cooperation in this matter is invaluable, and we thank you sincerely for your attention to these details! Cameras & Photos - 24-hour camera supervision is on this property. - Please be advised that any photographs you may take while on our property may be used on our website or social media. - You agree to release any waivers for use of any photos or videos you put online or share with Cowboys and Angels staff/owners. Recommended Items to Bring - Groceries to cook or grill - the grocery store is just a short 22-minute drive to Kerrville. - Bug spray and camping comfort essentials. - Boots or closed-toed shoes are recommended. - Sandals are at your own risk! - Remember, this is the countryside (expect bugs, stickers, ants, and sharp objects) - Drinks and snacks are a must! - Deer corn or deer feed, if you'd like to feed the deer. - We also have deer corn available for purchase. - Firewood is available for purchase here, or bring your own - If fresh eggs are available, we have them here from our free-range chickens - Bring your own beverages to enjoy at Moonshine's - our BYOB saloon, and don your best country bar attire. - Guitars, music, or anything you need to showcase your talent on our stage - we welcome your creativity! - Don’t forget to bring a flashlight! - Bring grilling utensils if you’d like to grill! No Smoking -No smoking in the cabins, buildings, or bathhouse/laundry room. - Smoking is permitted outdoors in common areas and around guest campsites and RV sites. - Please dispose of all butts in proper fireproof receptacles. - Do not toss butts anywhere on the property grounds. Liability And Indemnification - I shall defend, hold harmless, and indemnify C&A Retreat, LLC (“C&A”), the owners, and staff from and against any and all losses of life or personal property, claims, damages, costs or expenses, theft, and/or injuries due to bites, stings, animal or wildlife injuries, acts of God, negligence, the pedestal, malfunctions of equipment or appliances, grills, firepits, pool, noncompliance with property policies or lack of policies, or any injury, damage, or theft that could or may occur while staying on the property. - I understand I will be responsible for costs incurred by my actions, including reasonable legal fees or similar costs, in connection with any action or claim brought or made, or threatened to be brought or made, for any injuries or damages I or my guests or children receive or sustain during the course of my stay at 6411 Junction Highway, Mountain Home, Texas. Medical Consent - I consent to receive any medical treatment deemed advisable at my own cost for an injury to myself or my child, or my guest, that may occur while staying at C&A. - I understand that any medical or other insurance for myself and/or my child includes, but is not limited to, accidental death and dismemberment insurance and current accident medical insurance. Insurance And Property Responsibility - I have valid personal property and RV/vehicle insurance policies in place throughout my stay and will keep my vehicle registered. - I understand that C&A is not responsible for any injury, theft, or damage to myself or my property while I am a guest of this property. - We are not responsible for sewer damage, sewer clogs, or harm to plumbing or electrical systems in your RV. - We are not responsible for fire, floods, or anything pertaining to your personal RV or pedestal/electrical issues. - Use of the property is at your own risk.

Cancellation Policy

STRICT If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a 50% refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
